"Thank you all for coming. The GIA has been good to us to send a team of delegates. You must be all tired from your trip so please, rest up. Our medical team will provide you all with assistance to treat the plague with your advanced medicine." said the King, bowing to the newcomers.
"For the time being, please wander around the town, but be sure not to stray to the outside. We'll begin medical treatment as soon as possible."
It was an old city, Circle-Xine on the Planet of Koar. Standing there astride an oasis and a desert, it housed a formidable amount of defence, but the same went for the people within who were tough, hardy, but suffering from a special plague. It was a petrification plague, and it was making their people sick, slowly turning the people to stone.
Trans9 had been contacted by the GIA, in order to establish a foothold there, by offering medical supplies, and a team of six had been deployed from the Calnus, and landed outside the city.
It was here Reimi turned to the others. "All right everyone, we'll begin helping the medical relief within two hours. Until then, familiarize yourself with the layout of the town, or rest up. We'll begin after we've settled in."
"Stay in twos as well. I'll be here to coordinate efforts and be bringing the medical supplies from the Calnus."

For some odd reason, Sasami found it relaxing to be in the grasp of no gravity, just floating in the air without a care in the world. After spending a few days passed out following her return, Sasami decided to do just that.
Having made her way to the Sensoriums, she let the room stay in its blank state and just kill the gravity. In the middle of the room, Sasami floated there, the only thing flailing in the breeze was her hair (she was glad that she opted for jeans and a t-shirt instead of one of her kimonos - no need to see what was under there...!)
As she did, her mind floated back to Lirath, to how she acted there and how she was compared to the others. She had a long way to go, she knew that, but part of her was actually frightened now that she knew what she did - she actually fought, no, killed the Ohm. And that part was frightening. It was the heat of battle and she particularly didn't enjoy it.
Now she was wondering where she stood with it all...

Despite not requiring much in the way of food, Zouichi did know how to cook. But with friends and acquaintances from wildly different backgrounds, he figured he could stand to expand his repertoire. So today he was trying out desserts. The inside of one of the Sensoriums had been transformed into a brightly-lit kitchen, its counters covered with baking pans, bowls, fruit, flour, and a multitude of other ingredients.
Zouichi, wearing a dark blue apron, was just taking a batch of chilled dough out of the refrigerator, rolling it carefully out between waxed paper sheets. It was looking pretty good, or so he thought. Nothing had even exploded yet!
From somewhere within the kitchen, the smell of cake wafted up into the air. Caaake.

Lowe couldn't help but feel like a part of him died when he saw the mess inside the Hangar. It looked like a war zone tore through the area... which it did, what with a variety of Ohm parts still scattered across. A lot of the damage was easily fixable, thankfully. However, he had to write off a ZAKU that was cleaved in half along with a forklift that was destroyed the same way. There was also that one Variable Fighter that was destroyed in the space battle...
The Junk Guild tech couldn't help but let out a defeated sigh. He wanted to find the people who decided tossing ZAKUs and forklifts at bad guys was a good idea, especially those who could do what they did to the thrown items.
He did make mental notes of what could be salvaged from the unfixable items, though. Best not to let these things go to waste, eh?
Now, it was just a matter of getting it all fixed up.

Run by: Tetra NPCS: Everyone
The battlefield in the space above Lirath was a tumultuous mess. being both inviting targets for barrage in and of themselves, and also forcing the GIA ships to stay in close to protect them instead of allowing for more maneuvering room. The ice ring around Lirath had been blasted apart, resulting in giant chunks of ice drifting through fire- and sight-lines, providing opportunities for both cover and ambush as well as destruction for the dog-fighting ships weaving in and out of their treacherous paths. The wreckage of GIA and Ohm ships made movement through the battlefield downright hazardous -- who knew if there were still live weapons aboard any of them, just waiting to be tripped by an unwary pilot? The gravitational forces of the nearby planet Kehoe were an unwelcome addition to an already chaotic battlefield, making navigation difficult.
Ohm shrikes strafed the bare handful of GIA capital ships present, causing soundless explosions in the vacuum of space and killing who-knew-how-many allies of Transmigration 9's crew in the process. The GIA fighters seemed barely able to dent the massive Ohm Leviathans that brooded over the planet like bloated, predatory spiders, and those that were still flying were massively damaged, hulls scorched by plasma fire, some barely held together with parts of them vented into space. In some places there were things that looked like clouds of specks-- groups of dead GIA crewman, lost to the void.
Before long, new Ohm bioforms would enter the fray, ones created to compensate for the ship's mecha.
In this scattered and scorched battleground, Starfighter Command would have to fight Ohm ships side by side with the exhausted forces of the GIA, braving massive chunks of ice, wreckage, and of course, the seemingly never-ending forces of the Ohm.
And the tide of battle was already turned against them.

The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their numbers. After the revelation that their worlds are gone, many of them are even more eager to see people they knew from home.
Several people are set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings. New crew-mates might see a tall man in green armor and snake girl among their number. There are also several authoritative-looking figures ready to introduce themselves.
There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.

Clone branding? Tapestries? Stupid statues who want to show you your past, no matter how traumatic it was?
Real annoying!
At the moment, Sasami's busy laying on the set of carrot-pillows scattered across the second floor, relaxing after that run-in with the statue. Thankfully, her omnicomm's "mysteriously" misplaced, so she doesn't know about Superboy's freak-out over the clones (and if those in her home knew about it, they obviously weren't telling her). Staring up at the ceiling, she just lets the sounds of the household echo through as they go along their business, content with what's going on.
Hanging up proudly on the wall nearby was her new "Barrier Jacket", slightly worn from her romp in the Tapestry Planet, ready for another use if need be. And if what the Tapestry showed was true, it might be sooner than she thought.
"...we really could use a break... again."

It always felt weird not to be greeted by the sun peeking through the windows of the Masaki home every morning, but for Sasami, she was used to it by this point. Despite being on an alien ship and stuck in the middle of a multiversal war, she decided that she'd keep going through her usual routines, especially after finding the Masaki Home.
At the moment, Sasami was busy making breakfast for those who lived in the home - her sisters Aqua, Starfire, Hoshi, Reimi and their new guest Phillip. Darting from one end of the kitchen, the little girl made sure her "family" was well-fed. If anyone did catch Sasami, they'd notice her not only sporting her usual hair ties but wearing Reimi's ribbon on her right pigtail right above the other tie.
Care to visit this quaint little home?
(OoC: Just a simple mingle post here as well for both the occupants of the home and anyone who wants to drop in! I'll make sure not to hog XD)

It had been one of those little things Reimi was never really good at, but she had settled into a routine since she had gone to the Media Library so long ago. Having booted up a cute looking JRPG or something close to it, she listened to the opening theme as she began to play, selecting her character. Right now, playing away, she is almost oblivious to anyone coming up to visit with her.
|
Reimi was in a really good mood today, but even practice needed to be done in her downtime. Creating a nice outdoor archery range, she had unslung her bow and sighted down the shaft of the arrow.
THUNK.
Nodding at the shot which had pierced in the centre of the target, she drew another arrow, the item flickering to life. Arrows tended to do that for her, and this bow of hers was special in a way since it was from her own world.
Two more arrows joined it as the next target lined itself up, moving as if it was a duck on a stick. Concentrating, she gathered chi into her body, sending it down the shaft. That new ability of hers flared to life, spiralling upwards as wings sprung from either side of the arrow.
"Crescent..." intoned Reimi on reflex as the glow got more brilliant. "...wings!"
The arrow struck home, tearing through the target and several more before it came to a halt, vibrating in a tree.
"Not bad," said Reimi, lips twitching up in a smile as she calculated the damage.

Sasami was glad to get out of the Med Bay and back on her feet. While she would love to get back to setting up her restaurant, she decided that a walk was in order, to stretch out her legs a bit. Thus, once she arrived at the City, she decided to wander to the Kohaku River.
Upon walking upstream, she encountered something she didn't expect: her home from Earth. No, not her home - Tenchi's home. Yet, there was something different about it. Wider, seemed roomier, with a deck that extended outward into the river. Wanting someone to tag along to check it out, she made a quick call to Reimi, figuring she'd bothered the others enough the past week. As she wandered to the deck, waiting, her curiosity got the better of her and she looked out over the edge...
...and screamed, scrambling backwards in panic as she saw the image before her: the older her. Gathering her wits, she took another peek, hoping it was just her imagination... and proved it wasn't.
Sasami. Remember. The reflection spoke.
"R-Remember...? Wh-wha... AHHH!" Sasami stammered before quickly clutching her head in pain. Something was terribly wrong...
|
For once, things just seemed peaceful for Sasami. Nothing awkward or dangerous or outwardly crazy going on and...
...it made her bored. She enjoyed the craziness of home, the arguments, the yelling, the fighting, the random explosions due to the fighting. The ship didn't give that wonder to her - if it wasn't the laws that the crew voted on long ago, it was Stacy herself keeping everyone in order. She had a feeling that, if they were here, Ryoko and Ayeka would have either been given punishments or just gone bonkers from not fighting over Tenchi. Or at least, that's what she thought.
Her listless wandering lead her over to Awesome World, the theme park Rock designed before his repodding. Though a lot of the rides were active and being maintained, there were other areas around that were left untouched. Curiosity got the better of her and she ran over to the incomplete roller coaster, bypassing the robotic guards still standing there. It seemed to be a basic coaster of sorts, so there were no loops or sharp turns that would get in her way of just walking along the tracks.
Maybe that's all she needed - just to do something a bit dangerous...

OK, so things were at least shaping up pretty good. The Outsiders were making progress and so far, she had to admit that she was generally happy. Sure, there were a few lingering things on her mind (her brother, Mai, Marco) but overall she figured letting them deal with things without her involved. Nura and her and Reimi got to bond, she had help on the ship, and there were people looking out for her on the ship: she had nothing to complain about.
So she took this moment to unwind near the Outsider's pool, not IN the pool but beside it, legs crossed, taking in the air and doing breathing exercises for relaxation. - Tags:!location: outsider's palace, !location: the city, !status: open, billy cranston, dhianeila, jamie hemeros, katara, lord zetta, matt olsen, reimi saionji, ronnae

Anybody entering the Sensoriums today would get a sense of dread from the scene that would meet them. It was a scene of a planet left in ruins - the sky that would normally be a bright light blue was tinted a toxic green, chunks of debris and pieces of the dead planet easily noticeable just outside the atmosphere. Barren mountains and craters were in the distance, and in the area of entrance was nothing but a sandy expanse, filled with far too few trees that didn't look like they'd last for very much longer.
There were two ships also noticeable in the area. The first was very obviously destroyed, crashed onto the planet long ago. Nobody would guess that humanity's savior would have been living in a place like this. The other ship was small, new, like it was completely functional and had just touched down on the planet. This is where Dhianeila decided to keep herself lest somebody wound up entering the Sensoriums. Her projection, however, was standing in the middle of the empty area - or rather kneeling, as she hovered a hand over the ground in thought.
She stood, looking up to the sky with an expression of hopefulness, though she also looked a bit lonely, as if this place were her own home. Despite the fact that it wasn't, it was just as important to her than any place she'd ever call home.
"I am going to do my best to keep my promise. Age..." She spoke as if there was somebody there with her. And though there wasn't, Dhianeila herself believed that no matter where she was, he would somehow be able to hear her, so she smiled as if her feelings could travel beyond the endless universes to him.

Reimi sunk into the water of the Co-Ed side, making sure that her towel was fastened securely before she let herself relax. It had been a long day and the Calnus was up and running. And yet she heard there was some kind of Darksoul slipping around but so far, she hadn't run into anyone who was acting out of the ordinary.
Sinking to the water, she poked a bubble that was forming from the jets and let herself relax a little more, the day's aches from working on the Calnus finally ebbing away.
At least it was nice and quiet there right now.

It was strange what a coma could do to you. Put you out cold for a certain expanse of time, leaving you to wake up with the most curious feeling that things have passed you by and left you to stumble and figure out for yourself just what has happened. And Ben, while wonderful and incredibly helpful on helping her fill in the blanks on what she'd heard, could only go so far in helping Nura understand things.
The same could be said about the med bay.
Which was why Nura had left immediately that morning.
Now, she was in the hangar, inside the Calnus, with the diagnostic try open in her lap as she sat in the Captain's seat, pouring over the contents. The coma had robbed her of the time she needed to properly study the diagnostic tray. She was sure that Reimi wouldn't test her right after she learned Nura had woken, but still...
"Let's see..." She ran her index finger down the page, eyes going back and forth and she read on and on. "The start-up button would be about..." she raised her other hand's finger above the control panel in front of her. "...here." She pressed her finger down, not realizing that she’d pressed all the way down on the button, activating it.
She turned a page. "And..." Beneath her feet, the ship started to hum. The bit of darkness she was bathed in, excluding the lamp above her, disappeared as a wash of light from above filled the ship. Nura looked up from the book. Her eyes went immediately to the screen, which was now lit, with the readings filing through, telling her that take-off was sound.
"I’m in trouble." | |

Draw. Aim. Release.
Whatever the bandit said died on his lips as he, well, died. Reimi took aim once more as Claude C Kenny surged forward, slicing no-name enemies into sparkling dust.
Draw. Aim. Release.
Cliff Fittir stormed forward, bringing his hands to the sky as a sphere of might ripped into the ground, throwing monsters everywhere.
Draw. Aim. Release.
Sparkling magic cut through the air as Sarah cast a holy spell, sending showers of pure white shafts into the sky and brought them raining down.
Draw. Aim. Release.
"That's enough," said Reimi as her companions slowed to a crawl. "Load up the Boss Battle. Um, Valkyria."
In an instant, the world around her changed as a valkyrie in blue, white and gold armor appeared and her companions got ready.
"BOSS BATTLE!" roared the announcer and the fake crowd went wild. "HERE WE GO, FIGHT!"
Draw. Aim. Release. Arrows screamed forward, narrowly missing the lance-wielding opponent who raised her weapon and intoned, "Nibulung Valesti."
"Shit." proclaimed Reimi as she braced for the impact that would carve a huge chunk of HP out of her team, if not outright kill most of them.
At least a game-death would be less painful than what she had seen a day ago.
Draw. Aim. Release. In came the lance blazing with holy power.
It was official: 4D players loved challenges.

Reimi had closed the door behind her in the Sensoriums as she stepped into the blank white room. She had been debating this for a long time now and decided that now was the time to finally face it. "Stacy... can you load up the game Eternal Sphere from the media archive?"
There was a soft reply and the world blurred around her as digital information poured into the sensoriums, flashing around her and finally resolving into a barren blasted wasteland. Craggy rocks amidst tuffs of grass that still stood waving in the iron-like breeze. The sky was yellow tinged, and in the distance, the Statue of Liberty lay on its side.
Reimi tried not to shake at the sight. She had seen it many times when on shuttles. This was just outside the underground home city she lived in before the radiation incident.
"Stacy move location for the game, time index 200 years from now."
The world blurred again as the game was updated, resulting in her standing in what was a beautiful city, filled with technology. The sun was beating down on her and the sky was now blue. The barren landscape was replaced with cars, people, trees, flowers and flying vehicles of all types. On the side of the building read a large banner: Ronixis J Kenny Wants You For The Space Fleet!
"Ronixis... must be a descendant of the Hero then," murmured Reimi. "Fast forward another ten years."
In the now familiar whirl, there was a large banner in the same area, the landscape mostly unchanged save for a few more tall buildings here and there. "Expel has Joined the Federation!" declared the banner, and there were more people wandering around.
"That's enough. Pause it here and resume gameplay."
Sitting down on a bench, Reimi tried not to be too upset at the whole proceedings. It was true she had to face this, that she could see her source material. But to actually be standing on Earth again even if it was a digital recreation, it was a bit much.
Taking a steadying breath, she sighed, rubbing her face.
