22nd-Aug-2011 11:46 pm - It's The Final Countdown
This was it. Endgame. The crux of the battle, the turning point, those crucial moments that would decide if the crew won or lost, that would decide if the Ohm would reign victorious or go running with their chitinous tails between their legs.

Did the crew have enough grit to win? Could they defeat a full Ohm fighting force?

With the flagging confidence of the GIA forces, it'd be up to the crew to turn the tide.

And one of the crew would pay the ultimate price to make sure the others walked away alive.

13th-Aug-2011 01:42 am - Lirath - Ship Survival
As the battle raged outside, those remaining aboard Stacy had their hands full preparing for the incoming flood of refugees.

Positioned near the Bleed-Gate orbiting Lirath, Stacy stood ready to receive the refugees. Ship after ship ascended as quickly as they could, some of them making a break for the Bleed-Gate itself while the smaller ships were forced to dock at Stacy, unloading their cargo of refugees before setting off again for the planet's surface again to take on more passengers.

Several small units of GIA soldiers were also sent up to help the Transmigration crew take in the massive amount of refugees, many of whom were tired, wounded, and scared. It wouldn't take long for the ship to begin filling with people.

With the battle raging outside, and the Ohm clambering outside, trying to get in, it would be a tall order to keep all of the refugees safe and calm, but the crew didn't have much choice.

It was a frigid cold even Hiccup wasn't used to when he entered the Sensorium where he was due to meet Sokka. The scene was set at what was clearly a vast land completely covered in snow and ice. The sun was bright, reflecting off it in a way that was slightly hard on the eyes. Even though the breeze was only slight, it crept in through the gaps in the very threads of his clothes, quickly chilling his body.

"Whoa. And I thought Berk winters were bad."

In only the brief moments it took for Hiccup to imagine up climate-appropriate furs, his teeth were already chattering. Fortunately, the warm clothes quickly made a dent on the cold.
8th-Jul-2011 04:29 pm - Fountains! Or not. [ Open ]
After being escorted to a suitable lodge at the Crew Quarters, Rapunzel wasted not a minute nor second at the opportunity to explore the city portion on the ship. It had quickly become her favorite haven and almost everything was a new discovery waiting to be touched, awed, and then quickly replaced for something better. It wasn't long until she set her sights on something that was so incredible and unheard of that there were no words to explain her emotions upon seeing it.

The public restroom.

Whatever this room of fountains and rivers was, it was fascinating. The running water, the bathroom stalls, and just the fact that everything seemed to be running off some strange source was a mysterious yet puzzling mystery. How anyone managed to figure a way to make water appear with just a turn of a nozzle was either a phenomenal magician or a crafty handyman. Unfortunately, she didn't seem to recognize the signs that may or may not have stated which one was men and women, so anyone that was currently inside the male's side had the unfortunate surprise of witnessing someone burst into bathroom to to play with all the working gadgets, faucets, and toilets. A plumber she was not.

"A river in a bowl! Who thought of this?!" She exclaimed, turning the water on and off ecstatically. "Whoever did must be a genius with water! I wish Pascal could see this!" Rapunzel bubbled while splashing a bit of water into the air from the sink. No, nobody bothered to tell her just what the bathroom were actually used for. An explanation just wasn't needed for someone who had never seen one before. All that mattered was that someone had created a magical room of water. And there were only a few words to describe such a discovery.

"I can't believe all of this is here! What if I get in trouble? This is too incredible!!" It was at that moment she realized that being on board a foreign ship wasn't so bad after all. At least for now.

ooc; lmfao... forgive her. *sobs*

Azula hadn't had alot of luck with the Sensoriums before, typically they reflected her own shattered psych and that was miserable for her on every level.

But with Zuko's help sucker Azula had found ways to calm her mind when it began whirling too fast.

It was all about fire, the life giver, the destroyer. The fire inside her that kept her going.

And so she entered the Sensorium today with a controlled confident walk and brought the world up around her.

Fire Nation Capital during the Fire Days Festival had always been one of Azula's favorite times in the past. She could walk through the festival with respect and without fear. People moved to let her pass, she never had to stand in line for the things she wanted to buy and the entertainment was always top class.

And it didn't hurt that she had gone to more then a few of these with Mai and Ty Lee.

Still this recreation didn't fill her with the warmth and nostalgia she had been hoping for. She moved through the crowd of simulations quietly and felt something else, something different and all together unpleasant.

Regret? Homesick?

The stalls of colorful masks and puppets, spicy food and beautiful trinkets did little distract her from this and she turned her eyes to the sky as beautiful golden paper lanterns glistened and began to lift into the sky powered by the flames of her people.

"How many of you even wondered where I vanished to?" She wondered out loud though none of them made notice. "Did even one of you object to his rule? Or were you all too pathetic and cowardly to even consider getting involved in your own futures?"

She looked back to the lights in the sky and tried to focus on the fire again. Even if this simulation wasn't pleasing her she wouldn't let her own delicate mental state ruin her festival.
1st-Jul-2011 12:04 am - Meat n' Greet
The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their numbers. After the revelation that their worlds are gone, many of them are even more eager to see people they knew from home.

Several people are set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings. New crew-mates might see a tall man in green armor and snake girl among their number. There are also several authoritative-looking figures ready to introduce themselves.

There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.

[ooc: Only new characters and Command Staff can start new threads for introductions, to limit the number of threads. Everyone else, just tag in and have your guys greet the newbies.]

1st-Jul-2011 12:03 am - Podpop
[ooc: Newbie Helpers List | Instructions: Post your character with one post establishing them as being podpopped. Tag each other in groups of 2's, 3's, and 4's, to get some interaction to start with. If a thread doesn't already have 2 or 3 people tagged in, tag it with your character's podpop popping near the other people, rather than making a new subthread. If you would like to play out them talking to the AI, please send an email to the mods making the request--we do this only by request. Then move onto the big Newbie Meeting. Once your character has gotten the rundown from the old crew, you may start posting entrance posts and freely tagging.]

||Pod Release Protocols Initating|| Stacy's familiar voice sounds out to all the podmates through the ship.

In the Pod Caverns, there are the sounds of: Pop. Pop pop pop. Poppuhpoppoppop. KASCHUNKhiiiiiiiissssss.

There is condensation and mist spraying out from cracks in the pods, as the people inside slide out onto the floors, covered in slime.
