Clone branding? Tapestries? Stupid statues who want to show you your past, no matter how traumatic it was?

Real annoying!

At the moment, Sasami's busy laying on the set of carrot-pillows scattered across the second floor, relaxing after that run-in with the statue. Thankfully, her omnicomm's "mysteriously" misplaced, so she doesn't know about Superboy's freak-out over the clones (and if those in her home knew about it, they obviously weren't telling her). Staring up at the ceiling, she just lets the sounds of the household echo through as they go along their business, content with what's going on.

Hanging up proudly on the wall nearby was her new "Barrier Jacket", slightly worn from her romp in the Tapestry Planet, ready for another use if need be. And if what the Tapestry showed was true, it might be sooner than she thought.

"...we really could use a break... again."

"Flopping today, are we?" inquired Reimi as she walked into her little sisters room and subsequently flopped down next to her.

Sasami turned her head, spotting Reimi as she did. She couldn't help but chuckle as she joined her.

"Yeah, pretty much...!" she said.

"Pillows feel so good," she sighed, sprawling out next to Sasami. "Lazy day for the two of us, isn't it?"

"It is... a little annoying, but at the same time? It's nice." she said, pulling herself over to rest her head on Reimi.

"Hmm? Why annoying?" inquired Reimi, reaching down to play with one of Sasami's pigtails.

"Just a little boring, that's all...!" Sasami admitted, smiling a bit. She couldn't help but chuckle as Reimi played with one of her pigtails.

"Sometimes boring is a good thing," reminded Reimi. "If you're bored, it means that life is easy right now. And considering how much time we might or might have on this ship..."

"That's true... and with everything that's happened, maybe a bit of downtime is a good thing." Sasami said, nodding.

"Kind of a shame I couldn't find anything interesting after we got that Tapestry. I would have loved to have something from there to add here."

Without warning, a pillow finds itself upside Sasami's head IF she looks up she'll see her "wife" Mindy Macready, grinning down at her.

"Is this what you do for fun? Seems a little low key to me, Princess."

"Bluh!" Sasami found herself snapping out of her daze as Mindy smacked her in the head.

"Eheh... well, at the very least, I just ran out of things to do...!"

Mindy snickered. It was seldom that she was able to just enjoy herself in her civilian guise, but when she did, she usually DID like hanging out with Sasami.

"How can you run out of things to do? It's the huge ass ship with a self contained city! How can you run out of things to do?"

She shook her head. "How's that restaurant going? I've been gone a little bit, so you know, wanted to make sure you didn't set fire to the place."

"Well, when you're not sure at what else you can do, well..." Sasami said, trailing off a bit at that.

"As for my restaurant, it's been doing pretty well. Trying to make it last as long as I can and so far, so good."

"Hey, we can always find ways to have fun if there's nothing around, right? I mean, in times like these, don't girls have slumber parties and shi..um, stuff like that?"

She nodded. "Oh yeah, I have some stuff for the restaurant. Was on a mission recently, so I figured I'd pick some stuff up."

"Heheh, that's true. I guess I'm not used to that sort of thing, especially after being the only kid around for so long." Sasami admitted.

She couldn't help but blink at what Mindy had done. "Oh, really? Thank you!"

[OOC: Regretfully I must ret-con this thread, as Mindy is still on the mission which will only be completed after a certain time, in which it will change too much to predict. Also, sadly, Mindy would not have been able to bring anything aboard either.

"You can say that again," Hoshi commented, holding a basket of what appeared to be laundry in her arms. There were a few of her clothes in there, as well as other people's clothes, too.

"Your new outfit looks nice. I didn't get to tell you when we were on the mission, but..."

Sasami couldn't help but blush at Hoshi's comment, looking away in embarrassment.

"Th-thank you, Hoshi-neesan...!" she said, stammering a bit. She noticed the basket of laundry in her arms and blinked. "Oh! I-If you guys needed that done, you should have told me!"

"You're very welcome!" Hoshi said, giving her little sister a big smile.

She placed the laundry basket down and smiled. "Nah, I don't mind! Seriously, we have to divide the chores up here! We don't want you doing everything by yourself, Sasami."

In the kitchen was Hoshi who was making up something for dinner, having the stove top going, as well as other things. She honestly missed cooking for other people, as well as cooking with her mama.

She took a wooden spoon out of the drawer and stirred the soup she was making while using another one to taste the soup itself.

"Mmm! It tastes delicious so far!"

Mindy had walked out of the general room into the kitchen, curious to see what was cooking. She was trying to have as much kid fun as she could, seeing as how there was more work to be done as Hit Girl, so she walked over and saw that Hoshi was cooking. She didn't say anything for awhile, just watched.

"What are you making?"

Hoshi turned around, giving Mindy a smile. Sometimes, she tended to lose herself in the moment of cooking.

"Soup! Do you want to try it?" Also, she wasn't totally aware of Mindy being the same as Hit Girl, so she was under the assumption that she was someone she hadn't met yet..

And that was all part of the plan, more or less, that very VERY few people knew that she and Hit Girl were one in the same.

"I can help, sure. I do well enough in Sasami's restaurant thing- by which I mean no one's croaked yet."

Or complained really, so she didn't have a chance to tell them what they could do with their complaints.

"All right, sure. Do you want to chop up a few of the vegetables I have there?" Hoshi asked, pointing out to a few vegetables that she had laid on the counter top that would be added with the soup.

"And, oh! I'm Hikari Hoshi, last name, first. Nice to meet you."

Chopping? Oh yeah, she could definitely do the chopping thing. She had the cutting board out along with a knife, which she observed a few seconds before chopping the hell out of some vegetables in three minutes flat. Even she was sort of impressed with herself: her sessions with the Overlord and Chase were really paying off!

"Mindy Macready," She said. "I come here to bug Sasami every once and awhile. She's," and she snickered at this, "sort of my wife or something."

The beyblader kept an eye out for Mindy, just to make sure she didn't wind up hurting herself in some way. But, she was definitely impressed by the chopping skills she had with the vegetables. "Nice work," she complimented, still a little bit awestruck.

"A pleasure, Mindy," she replied before blinking. "Ah, the marriage planet or something?" she asked, tilting her head a bit.
