1st-Nov-2011 01:49 am - Training Round [open]
While this had been a bit of a routine now for as long as he could remember being on the ship, Chris felt more at ease training than anything else. While he still was at risk with his asthma, he wasn't feeling the long winded feeling in his lungs as he did back at home. His lungs were slightly better thanks to his medication, and so he had transformed into Kamen Rider Sting fighting a replica of a mirror monster. This particular one was very reminiscent of a bull. Sting readied himself as he prepared to battle it.

5th-Oct-2011 09:18 pm - Departmental Meeting: Security
The Precinct had a lot of meeting rooms. Dick had signs up pointing to the largest one, since there was never any telling how many people would end up at the meeting. There were chairs scattered around in a vaguely circular arrangement, though they could be moved around as people liked.

Dick himself stood at the front, omnicomm in hand and trying to keep track of what was going on. He was leaning back against a table with two seats behind it. Right now, it was just waiting for people to arrive.

1st-Jul-2011 12:04 am - Meat n' Greet
The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their numbers. After the revelation that their worlds are gone, many of them are even more eager to see people they knew from home.

Several people are set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings. New crew-mates might see a tall man in green armor and snake girl among their number. There are also several authoritative-looking figures ready to introduce themselves.

There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.

[ooc: Only new characters and Command Staff can start new threads for introductions, to limit the number of threads. Everyone else, just tag in and have your guys greet the newbies.]

As soon as the clock had been destroyed, Chris whose actions have left him downright suspicious of everyone on Stacy had felt uneasiness and struggling memories coming to the surface in his own mind. This event made his resolve more intense, Chris had seen events as a way of his own personal failings and this didn't feel him with any confidance at all. So, he arrived unannounced at one of the Sensoriums, to do some heavy training. He wasn't expecting anyone to bother him really.

In the grand scheme of things aboard Stacy, he was sure he wouldn't be a very big threat with the Ohm. Sure, he helped in Security but the fact was that Leon didn't really trusted the young marine. Mainly because of his age, Chris guessed but he wasn't 100% sure. He stared at the rooftop display with monkeylike creatures that looked like this. He was ready.
9th-Apr-2011 03:22 pm - A strange and mystical clock shop...
Down one of the back alleyways, one might stumble across a small sidewalk market full of peculiar shops. To one side was a store selling hub caps, to the other was a man who'd try to convince you that his potions would bring you eternal youth, really.

But in the middle, was a clock shop. It's collection of clocks in stock was peculiar, made of strange materials and working in odd ways (and if you wanted a cuckoo clock, here you could get one with a real cuckoo). But by far the most striking clock was the one that was draped across one of the back tables. The fact that it could drape at all was a big hint to the clock's strangeness. It looked like a giant, metre-wide clock face that had an unfortunate accident with a Bunsen burner and gone all floppy as a result, like it was melting. And yet, the clock still ticked.

The merchant spoke. "Do you want to see something strange and mystical?"

[[ooc: Alright, this is the post that kicks off the Melting Clock! The clock store Merchant here is Jeepers/Peepers, who's being NPC'd by Allen. Since people other than the Melting Clock guys might want to tag Jeepers/Peepers, please mention in your subject line whether your character is to be affected by the clock or not, so Allen knows who to set the chime off at!

Important Note! If your character is to be affected, make sure that you've signed up, guys. If you haven't filled out the form, you haven't signed up]]

Another Important Note: No more new threads please! If you really really want to thread this out, please ask Allen directly if he's able to. Otherwise, just handwave them coming to the shop.

9th-Apr-2011 03:17 pm - Mingling at the Bazaar
Next to the Mall Hotel, a large bazaar sprawled out through the streets. Food stalls, jewelery stalls, plastic surgery stalls...might want to stay away from that last one. But since the bizaar was close by, it served as a good place for the crew to meet up and start their exploration of XaXing.

[[ooc: This is just a general mingling post guys, so jump in and start threads, tag into other people's, whatever you want!]]

23rd-Mar-2011 06:10 pm - The Hunt Begins [Open]
This place, whatever it may be, was massive. He had found himself getting lost at certain points, but he didn't let that stop him. The Power was on this ship and he would find it, one way or another.

There was something he noticed here as well - wandering across the hallways had him encounter various people. Oh, sure, he could sneak by them, but they probably knew where the Power was and he would get it out of them.

He would let his presence be know. And woe to those who would encounter him...

(OoC: Alright, here we go! Don't cram EVERYONE in here - you don't want to dogpile automatically! Feel free to do whatever you wish here!)
31st-Jan-2011 02:10 am - All in all I fare the same; [open]
Claire hadn't been up to much lately, and while that wasn't entirely a bad thing, it was a little dull. Still, it gave her time to get ahead on lesson plans, and work on training Boon to behave himself a little better.

At the moment she's sitting in the lounge, trying to get some work done, but as the dog (not so much a puppy anymore, though he still wasn't quite full-grown) kept on sneaking up and making off with her data pad, it wasn't easy. Anyone walking into the area would likely observe Claire standing with one finger pointed sharply at the floor next to her as she attempted to get the dog to comply.

"Boon! Come back here with that!"

How could he sleep with all of this on his plate?

Last time at the command center... )

Could he really build morphers and distribute them? With his original friends absent and increasingly unlikely to be released by Stacy, that meant creating a new team from the crew members here. It was a thought that had a list of implications increasing every second. Clearly, this fledgling idea in the back of his mind would require some careful consideration before he acted.

This thought process, he believed, would be a little easier away from this place that contained so many memories. After copying the blueprints to his omnicom and gathering the raw materials he found, he exited the Command Center and made his way up to the observation deck. It was late at night, and therefore unlikely to be very crowded. That was a good sign, he thought, but late night conversation wouldn't exactly hurt him either.

Billy found a comfortable meat-couch and started tinkering with this first Green morpher, allowing his worries to sink to the back of his mind. From what he had seen on the blueprint, this Power granted weaponry far more versatile than his own. There would not be arsenal envy with the new Green Ranger if he went through with this, Billy told himself.

15th-Sep-2010 11:36 pm - I'm echoing all your philosophies;
Ever since exposing GLaDOS's true function, Claire was starting to remember people she'd forgotten. It was kind of weird, some things had clicked back into place immediately, but others had taken time to recall. And since she became aware of it, there was a constant feeling on the edge of her mind that she was still missing something and it was important, but she just couldn't get a grasp on it.

That, of course didn't stop her from trying. She was determined to remember what it was, even if it didn't seem like Stacy quite wanted her to. All this excess thinking left her wandering around with a slightly spaced out look, however, and she'd been more than a little distracted. So when she was interacting with the kids in her class she had to push it back, which made it harder for her to try to get a hold on it, again.

So, anyone happening to wander through hydroponics may come across Claire sitting in one of her favorite spots, back up against a tree. She's half watching Boon run around and throwing a ball for him, but for the most part she's off in her own world.

3rd-Sep-2010 12:17 pm - Things We Never Said [Open]
Billy could see it clearly in his mind's eye:

Billy, Cassie, and Jamie would be wielding the new and improved Slop Immobilizer Gun, wearing their brand new non-stick safety uniforms, and presenting the project with triumphant smiles on their faces. They finally built something that wouldn't stick when it wasn't meant to. With that great weapon, they could trap their opponents non-lethally and be considered heroes for finding a use for the almost universally loathed slop.

It was now a scene that would never come to pass. Oh, Billy was still there, and Jamie was, and the gun was, and of course the slop would never ever go away, much to their dismay, but nothing remained of Cassie Lang but their memories.

Their partner, their friend. Dead. Billy thought back on all he knew of her: her family life, developing as a hero, her friends, her spirit, her contributions. All of that culminating in one of the better people he'd known, never to be seen again. Never to be thanked for all she'd done, and even he saw this. Comparatively he hadn't known her extremely well, but she was one of his own. Like B5 had been.

It was that thought that drove Billy into another version of the attack simulation, wielding the gun from his fantasy once more. He'd thought he was going to call Jamie and Cassie for the victory after the crisis, but he would now be running the test alone. Soon enough, the moving targets were in place and the first shots were fired.

Blam. Blam. This time, it worked exactly as intended, but there was no joy left in Billy's heart to celebrate. Instead, he found himself lowering his gun arm and starting to cry.

"Cassie..."

((Open because he'll be mourning here for a little while, even knowing that everyone knows where he is. Renne's last chronologically for now, but I'll work out some semblance of chronology at the end. I don't wanna leave anyone out.))

3rd-Sep-2010 03:17 am - After The Fall [Open]
Things just keep getting worse and worse...

The bomb situation was over. They won. They're alive. In a sense - if the reports are true, then they've lost a number of people. And again, there was nothing Irma could do. She felt helpless at this point - no Guardians, no real powers, nothing. For once in her life, Irma started wishing that she was a normal person again. At least that way she could have more options as to what to do.

She didn't want to hide in the W.I.T.C.H. Bus and didn't to hang around the school or the citadel. Instead, she decided to wander, hoping to find someone, ANYONE, to talk to, to get her mind off of what was going on.
Finding her barn and being able to stay at her house were things Cassie didn't think would happen again until after they were done with the yeerk invasion. Arriving here only made her think that she would have to wait longer or never even see them again. It certainly warmed her to find them here, but at the same time it seemed to emphasize what must have happened on her world.

Some nights she would find herself in her barn again. Her memories before anything happened washed over her as she closed her eyes. When she opened her eyes and didn't see the usual sleeping animals or alert eyes of the nocturnal animals, she felt an emptiness.

So today she decided to wander the hydroponics. Looking at the variety of animals and vaguely wondering if she would be able to help out here. There were some animals she had never seen before, but she still felt the same connection to them.
13th-Jul-2010 10:17 pm - She works hard for the...body? [Open]
Kate was in the Sensoriums again, a MP3 player with speakers playing some music with a beat while she worked, the mockup like the Young Avengers hangout and practice room. The music sounded like electronica music but with some string accompaniment. She had already stretched, dressed in a sports bra top and yoga style pants for loose free movement. She went through a series of katas and fighting moves before moving on punching the exercise bag, and some exercises. She wanted to do more, but with her options still limited, she had to find a way to maximize her time.
13th-Jun-2010 12:45 pm - Out On The Beach [OPEN]
The wind blowing, the bright sun, the sounds of the ocean waves crashing. For Sasami, it felt wonderful. She no longer had to worry about trying to make her way around the ship or trying to find people or anything like that. At least for now.

After her arrival, she had opted to buy a few things for herself - enough pots, pans and other dishes to handle anything she cooks for herself and her other guests and a combination of regular clothes and clothes that rather matched the usual Juraian attire - before going out and having fun.

Right now, though, having fun was equating to walking along the beach near the ocean, wearing an adorable summer dress and a large straw hat, Ryo-Ohki perched on her shoulder.

"It feels good out here, doesn't it, Ryo-Ohki?" Sasami asked, the cabbit letting out a meow in agreement. Sasami chuckled and nodded. "I'm glad you agree!"
24th-May-2010 09:26 pm - Tainted Memories
Sometime during the regular comings and goings aboard the meatship, an announcement rings out across all portions of the ship.

||Attention crew,|| Stacy's voice says, ||As significant interest has been shown for it, and enough time has passed since the Nightmare King incident to prevent unnecessary mental issues, the procedure to unlock the memories of the destruction of your homeworlds is now available to all crew members. If you are interested, please proceed to any empty sensorium and I will begin the process.||

A slight pause, then...

||If you have a history of mental issues, please use extra consideration when deciding on whether or not to take the procedure. That is all.||

Should anyone decide to take her up on her offer and head to the sensoriums, they'd find a clean, clinical-looking white room with a dentist-style chair (sans scary drills, of course) in the middle.

||Please, take a seat.||

23rd-May-2010 08:49 pm - Itadakimasu~! [OPEN PARTY]
If the Mess Hall normally smelled like anything, it was the bland, flavorless glop that the crew was accustomed to eating. But if you were to pass by the room today, you might notice a different smell. A good smell - the smell of actual food.

Nanoha Takamachi and Miku Hinasaki have been hard at work cooking up a feast of authentic homemade Japanese cuisine, and the entire ship is invited. Have at it!

(ooc: Thread amongst yourselves; Nanoha and Miku will be tagging around and making sure everyone's having a good time, but it's a party!

There's pretty much every type of Japanese cuisine here that they thought non-Japanese would enjoy/be familiar with: Hand-rolled sushi, some gyoza potstickers, udon bowls, agedashi tofu, and a variety of other dishes. If you're familiar with it, they probably made some.)

3rd-May-2010 10:11 pm - Lonesome Days [Open]
For the most part, things had been very quiet for Sasami. Despite the odd incidents between that dragon creature and the gravity cutting out, it seems a bit worrisome not to have something exciting happen. At this point, as Sasami looked out to the Bleed, she made probably the most duh-inspiring statement ever.

"I miss everyone." Sasami said to herself. She had allowed Ryo-Ohki to wander off and she was even regretting not having her company. Even though she had the palace, even though she had met some of the kids, no one really came to visit her.

More maybe it was because she was still reeling from Karen's reaction. Just because she was an alien didn't mean she should be normal. Maybe that's why no one was around or asking about her. Maybe they figured that, because she was an alien, she could take care of herself...

As she curled herself up on the chair, she wished Paula or maybe Hikari would show up. They were nice...
2nd-May-2010 01:42 am - A Break or Breaking?
Unlike certain individuals aboard the ship, Chris was not a workaholic which may be surprising when one took his family life into the picture. He had come to the Obs Deck to think about many things. Why did he do the things he did? Why when a crisis reared its ugly head was he useless? These and many others plagued the young Kamen Rider's mind.

Chris held his Advent Deck in his hands, seemingly uncaring if someone saw him today with the Deck. He had done his rounds and was now taking a break. He didn't really know anyone on the ship with the exception of Selene, Tex and Billy, and perhaps that Tenaya woman. He really should try socializing but at this point? He was just tired.

Ben was humming as he was working on his car with the MP3 player blaring. Granted he wasn't exactly the best mechanic but he had assisted Kevin enough times to work on a few things once in a while. Besides, it was HIS new car, and driving around always cheered him up.

Having gone down to the vehicle bay had proven fruitful, as both Kevin and his new car was there. Even Grandpa Max's Rustbucket was there and a big green ship which he was damn certain was his, considering, well, it was GREEN. He was half expecting to find Kevin or Grandpa Max tinkering with something in the immediate vicinity. He had scrounged up some things, and even found some of his old clothes in the RV. As such, he had changed out of his plantsuit and was wearing a pair of slightly too tight jeans and one of his lucky shirts from his kid days, now way too small on his frame but he didn't want to get his regular clothing grease and oil stained.

"There we go," said Ben, slamming the hood and keying the engine. It roared to life and a multitude of alien tech lit up in his car. "Now THIS is more like it!"

Shutting it off, he looked up at the ship and examined it. "Sure would like to check out that engine. ...why not?"

Twisting the dial of his Ultimatrix, Ben shifted in a burst of green light. "Spidermonkey! Ook ook!"

Bouncing up to the roof of the Rustbucket, he bounced upwards to the bottom of the ship and started to prod around for a hidden latch. "Kevin always leaves a latch here... Got it!"

The back opened up and he grinned. "Time to check this sucker out!"

The half spider, half monkey alien dashed around to the back and clambered up the large ramp. It was quite a large ship, no bigger than say a Millennium Falcon but it was definitely HIS.

Ben was going to like this.
