Mission Start: Seeds of Hope
"Thank you all for coming. The GIA has been good to us to send a team of delegates. You must be all tired from your trip so please, rest up. Our medical team will provide you all with assistance to treat the plague with your advanced medicine." said the King, bowing to the newcomers.
"For the time being, please wander around the town, but be sure not to stray to the outside. We'll begin medical treatment as soon as possible."
It was an old city, Circle-Xine on the Planet of Koar. Standing there astride an oasis and a desert, it housed a formidable amount of defence, but the same went for the people within who were tough, hardy, but suffering from a special plague. It was a petrification plague, and it was making their people sick, slowly turning the people to stone.
Trans9 had been contacted by the GIA, in order to establish a foothold there, by offering medical supplies, and a team of six had been deployed from the Calnus, and landed outside the city.
It was here Reimi turned to the others. "All right everyone, we'll begin helping the medical relief within two hours. Until then, familiarize yourself with the layout of the town, or rest up. We'll begin after we've settled in."
"Stay in twos as well. I'll be here to coordinate efforts and be bringing the medical supplies from the Calnus."
(ooc: feel free to make your own subthreads and thread amidst yourselves for great CR!)

Medical Team To the Ward
Re: Medical Team To the Ward
At least it's just a petrification plague, instead of one that makes you cough up chunks of your insides. Howard's feeling ill at ease. Working in medical is one thing, but a combination of plague and insects killed almost a quarter of the kids in Perdido, and he'd much rather be deployed to deal with combat injuries than sickness.
"What are the quarantine measures here?"
Re: Medical Team To the Ward
"But we're running short on that too," added the nurse. "We've got maybe twenty more doses, and treatment takes time. A week tops to see results. The last batch has been weak due to a lack of fresh ingredients."
Re: Medical Team To the Ward
Lovely. Short on resources. That's never a problem. Howard chews on the tip of his pen, hearing the plastic make squeaky noises inside his mouth. "Can you give me a writeup on the ingredients for Last Elixir? Maybe we can do some substitutes for the ingredients we're short on and make some makeshift batches."

She smiled as she began to take notes on the process.

She wasn't too familiar with anyone she had been sent on this mission with.
the status of her abilities as a medic were shaky and practically non-existent.
Yep, Sandy could tell already this was gonna be an awesome Mission.
Gloomy and with her hands shoved in her pockets she started walking in a random direction to do as was suggested and get to know the city. Normally she'd run but the oppressive sense of impending doom over her head was crushing the will to do that out of her.
I'm not a real doctor, I'm not even one of those magic healers. Why did Stacy send me?

Plotmon didn't seem to mind all that much anyway. She was probably still a bit tired out from that time she became Holydramon. Hikari figured that despite now having Ultimate evolution at her disposal (at least once she figured out how she did it, anyway) it probably wasn't going to be something they could use that often. Not if using it made Plotmon this tired.
"Does this place remind you of how things were before the ship?" Hikari asked, moving a bit closer to Reimi to look over at the view. She hadn't really talked to the older woman all that much, so talking about things was probably going to be a good idea. Especially if she was pretty much their leader for this mission.

She remembered how hard the others fought for her sake and it made her nostalgic. "I guess this way I can give back to the people now."

A part of her hoped there would be.
For the time being, Rachel wandered a little aimlessly, bored, about the town. Maybe she could at least run into someone interesting to talk to, while she waited for whatever work they had to do to begin.

"Hey," Rachel said, pulling one hand up in a half wave.

On each arm she had bags full of paints, mostly cans of spray paint but more traditional art kits as well.
...and a few bags of what passed for junk food on this planet. Something she could share with Hana when they got home.
Shifting to stone form to deal with the weight she hurried along still struggling to move gracefully with three thick bags on each arm.

"Having trouble?" Rachel asked, once she was closer. Not quite an offer to help, but not really mocking either.

The Sickness/Attack on the Castle
"GET THEM!" roared a guard. "They're stealing all the rest of the Last Elixir!"

As she ran, her bones began to hollow out, and her feet to shift. Naturally it'd take the route that would slow her down most-- but the faster she got to eagle form the better.

"And perfect timing too, brother," laughed the second. "Harland?"
"Mmm," replied the third, big and quiet. "Keep eye out."
