With the events that had transpired on the ship, Rachel had really felt one thing hit home among everything that had happened: not being able to morph when there was a danger that big? Really, really sucked.
Of course she had fought anyway. Like hell would she let a lack of abilities stop her from getting in the face of bad guys trying to pull one over on them. But without morphing? It had been a lot harder. And she wasn't about to let that happen again.
That's why Rachel had set up in the Sensoriums, calling up a training ground and a selection of perfect replicas of weapons from the armoury. She wouldn't let herself be defenceless again.

Following you awakening and talking with a few of the members through the communication systems by way of the three kind people who had awakened her, Nezaitben realized how the crew was stuck in a terrible mess. So many of them felt sad and depressed. Considering the entire ship, it wasn't too hard to see why. The next day, there had been an unusual amount of magical flowers spreading all over the ship. Nothing that damaged the controls (she might be naive in the way humanoids were, but Nezaitben was no fool either) but they were found in the most unexpected of places. Her own awakening area was now blooming in a flower paradise, the wooden palace standing proudly on top, the smell and pink cherry blossom strong enough to carry through most of the central city area where most people resided. Yet the ship was still sad. This would not do. That night, or what passed as a night for in the ship, Nezaitben took to the 'sky', letting pieces of her own essence fall on top of the sleeping populace, or those that were not sleeping finding themselves feeling the need too. Enveloping the ship into a peaceful slumber, she searched their dreams. The powers granted to her by the pantheon of gods in her homeworld allowed Nezaitben to weave a series of dreamcatchers giving her the ability to see those whose hearts connected true. These noble souls would do. Lead by example had always been her philosophy. She would give them a great gift - communication with each other in a single body, allowing them to share everything together. Their two soulcatchers were woven together that night into a single, grand ones, hanging in the garden's trees. A few minutes later, the empty husks of the bodies that weren't being used showed up at her palace. With a smile, she welcomed them like her own children and began to dress them for their task. That morning, some of the crewmen would wake up to a strange surprise...and that would just be the beginning of a long, strange misunderstanding and young gods trying too much to please everyone. [OOC - Just a few rules. Keep in mind the listed rules. You can all start your own threads of waking up in the bodies of others. How did Applejack stand working so hard around the farm? Her secret was simple: combining work and play. She'd brought the same styl to Hydroponics, where she'd sectioned off a small patch of the ground to be a place for some of the animals to play. The grass was dug up and seeds were planted elsewhere, water was poured, and Applejack herself was pounding her legs into the dirt. Making mud! Her bright orange coat was now coated in brown, and the longer she worked, the further she sank.
But this wasn't very fun. Back home, she'd done---yeah, that was what was missing! She hopped out of her little mud pit, tracked dirt across the grass, and set off at a fast trot. "Yee-haw!"
If anypony happened to be hanging about, they'd be splattered when the large pony came crashing down, rolling in her little pit of dirt. Her hat sat some distance to the side, miraculously untouched by the splattering of mud. Surely most would know to stay away from such a display.

The Sensoriums are decorated like the most well-tended and enthusiastically holiday-oriented suburb Southern California could have created. Jack-O-Lanterns grin out from driveways and porches; smoke machines belch out onto the sidewalk; orange-tinted Christmas lights twinkle from the rooftops. A loop of Halloween-themed music, from the Monster Mash to Thriller, plays over the scene.
Eva knows there aren't many children on Stacy, but that doesn't mean that the ones here shouldn't have the occasional holiday. Just because they lack a calendar doesn't mean they lack a festive spirit. Besides, almost all kids like candy and she was able to purchase plenty at the theme park and in Geartopia.
Each house has some hologram families giving out candies and chocolates, as well as small toys and little origami animals. Every hologram is dressed up in a ridiculous costume of some sort.
She flits from house to house, imagining up little details to add, dressed in an orange prison jumpsuit she finds unbearably humorous. After sending out a message on the channels, she waits for guests to arrive.

Before the battle at Lirath five people had seemingly disappeared, but now it seemed they had been wandering Glados' mazes in a bit of an annoyance to two of them. Dustin took it in stride, and Sabrina had done her best to keep her emotions in check. However Mark Allan and Ashley Williams were not happy. Neither one trusted the AI at all, and Ashley in particular hated her with a passion.
"I swear that damned AI just likes to push us too far!"
Mark nodded grimly. "If I could control my powers, I'd like to see how much heat she can resist before melting... Someday Glados. Someday..."
Dustin gave a shrug to Sabrina. it was obvious they were not going to let that go. But they had other concerns. "Dudes. I think we've got bigger problems than Glados. We have to find out what we missed." Sabrina didn't say anything but silently agreed with the Ninja Storm Ranger.

Kimberly walked around the padded floor and tried to clear her mind. She let out a deep breath and raised her hands dramatically. With one more deep breath she sent her herself flying across the gym floor in a series of back flips that ended with her on her feet.
Gymnastics had always helped Kimberly get to a better place back home. And it would surely work here as well. She repeated the act of back flips but this time added a spin before the last one. There was nothing like tumbling through the air. It was a rush, a full on thrill that nothing compared. Except for maybe the whole ranger thing.
As she again did her back flips, spins, and added kart-wheels and it almost felt like home. Like she was back in Ernie's juice bar practicing along with Jason, Trini, Zach, Billy and Tommy. But she knew she wasn't.

The plan was...well, it wasn't simple, but it sort of was. While the CLF attacked multiple Clone Processing centers to distract the government, the group with the CLF would target one particular one in the region that'd once been New Jersey. The group with the government would offer their services in putting down their own people. In the center, they'd split up into several groups. One would fight a fake fight, create a massive diversion, and blow up the room where the samples their DNA were being kept in the process. Another group would secure a teleporter pad. That team would teleport out other teams to steal a ship, steal some med tech to teleport to said ship, and steal a medical database. Another team would go to the main command center and hack into the government mainframe to down the sensornet around the planet so they could escape. And Nightwing himself would accompany the clones to upload the harvested memories to the Mother Brains, left unguarded because of the diversionary fighting, and make sure that was all they did. Meanwhile, there'd be a standing order for all teams to avoid killing other crewmates, and avoid killing guards unless absolutely necessary. It was a complicated plan. If a single part fouled up, they might find themselves dead, trapped, or worse. But if it worked, it'd work pretty spectacularly and leave them with medtech, a medical database, the clones helped, and possibly a grateful Council depending on how the fight went, because of the ones seemingly aiding the government. In some worlds, things that were a million-to-one-chance ( exactly a million-to-one) by their nature had to work. Let's hope this world is one of them, eh, mission crew? At some time during the night, while some were still sleeping, and some were awake and wandering around the hotel common rooms--a massive explosion rocked the hotel the group was staying in.
Simultaneously, perhaps by lucky chance, or perhaps on purpose, a number of the group was mysteriously teleported away. Specifically, the ones missing were: Fate, Jr., Kang, Superboy, Zouichi, Howard, The Doctor, Lash, Nightwing, Zetta, Dr. Henderson, Rory, Ruffnut, and Sakura.
The problem was that the group likely wouldn't be able to tell from the vaporized common rooms and bedrooms that those particular individuals hadn't been in them when the explosion hit.

The Maingate Hotel was pretty extravagant, and an entire section of it had been eked out for the crew's use during their stay. They had several suites, three communal areas, a conference room, their own kitchen with a chef on call if they required her. They were all teleported from the main teleport pad of the hotel into the conference room, which was a large enough room to be able to hold a group their size and had plenty of chairs arranged in a circular pattern so they could mostly all face each other or whoever was in the middle of the room. Everyone had to settle down so they were all able to talk, and the meeting itself would have to be carefully controlled so they wouldn't all talk over each other. But they were up for the task, right? [ooc: Guardian Setup, General Mingling, Clone Checkup, Newbie Briefing, General Briefing, More Mingling, Back to the Meeting, and The Idea Guy sections are open. The trip down was uneventful. The view was gorgeous when the viewing window shields were raised again when they were through the atmosphere, especially as they passed down to Megalopolis, the simply-named giant city that was this world's capital. To the Earthlings there, the continents of this world would look vastly familiar, but that didn't mean anything, did it?
Eventually the sparkling city spires of the mega-city, interspersed with flying traffic, rose up to meet them, and Obs Deck, attached by its massive shielded umbilical cord, deposited them at the Council's private spaceport. It retreated back up to Stacy after they'd disembarked.
This world was a gorgeous world, that much they could likely tell while standing there on the landing pad, looking at the rounded curves of the beautifully designed spaceport. Buildings rose up above them in shades of white, paneled with multi-colored glass, in creative architectural designs. The air traffic weaved neatly in endless lines between buildings, and the overcast sky was in shades of orange and pink, with occasional slips of a bright blue peeking through.
The Council of Five was waiting for them in person, clearly glad to see them all, dressed in resplendent clothing.
"Welcome to the Megalopolis, our capital city, and welcome to Galilee. We are the Council of Five, and we're honored by your presence."

A large group of crew members was gathered. In fact, given the mission briefing provided, it was curious that there'd be such a large number for a diplomatic mission.
Planet Designation: Galilee Status: Terrestrial, H-class. Non-sentient life: Extensive flora and fauna. Semi-Sentient Life: Yes. Sentient Life: Homo Sapiens. [Various translations of "human" appear here so everyone understands it] Water: 69.5% of the planet's surface. Climate: Earth-like [Click here for cultural equivalents for non-Earth cultures.] Landscape: Varied. Air: Normoxic concentration. Slightly elevated levels of carbon dioxide. Air Pressure: 101.3 kPa (kilopascals) = 14.7 psi (pounds per square inch) Sky: Blue. Often overcast. Sun: A class G2V, yellow star. Warnings: Wildlife and plant-life can be hazardous. Humans can be hazardous. A human cultural and legal database is available. [click here] Mission: Successfully negotiate with the Galileeans in exchange for their advanced medical technology.
It was very little to work with, so the crew gathered there possibly had a lot of questions. - Tags:!!stacy, !location: obs deck, !plot: send in the clones, anwei ayles, daniel jackson, dustin brooks, fate testarossa harlaown, gaignun kukai jr./rubedo, hana asakura, hiccup, howard bassem, ildraniath, kang, kanoe zouichi, kon-el, lash, lex luthor, lord zedd, lord zetta, nanoha, nightwing, rory williams, ruffnut thorston, sakura haruno, signum, ter'thelas, will vandom

Sakura had scoped out the Drunken Dragon before, if she'd never spent time in the tavern, even with Kang making a point of letting it be known alcohol wasn't the only thing offered at the tavern. Sakura hadn't been too inclined toward fruit juices in the last few whatever units of time since she glooped out of a pod and got felt up in the cleaning chamber. In fact, the ship as a whole made her relationship to odd (and familiar) viscous liquids rather chancy altogether.
None of this was on her mind tonight. This morning. This afternoon. No, whatever actual time this was, the Melting Clock was destroyed, the last few missions that had been chancy for crew were over and no casualties were reported to depress everyone, the Ohm weren't currently about to be directly engaged, Sakura and most of MedBay staff that could afford to be off shift were off shift (if Henderson didn't show himself, she'd be sad, and by all means Rory better be here after his last few "weeks"), and most importantly?
She would never have to talk or hear from Analog again.
"Here's to surviving the last few," she trailed off, "Last few crises, and whatever else is coming! Cheers!" She held up her clay mug to anyone in the general vicinity, tacking on a silent, Wish you were here, everyone. And I hope you cough up a cog or two, Analog!

Neither Rachel nor Marco had any real trust in the medical situation they'd both been forced into. It seemed like they had been tricked and betrayed; and it meant that there were instantly a few more people crossed off their list of who they should trust when they escaped. In fact-- it left them at each other, it seemed, when they did escape from medical, two cockroaches slipping out of sight while medical was distracted from them. Of course, this was compounded by the fact that several communications posts went up shortly after-- one announcing a Quarantine (thankfully they'd gotten out in time for that) and one announcing their abilities to the crew to warn them. And then things got worse-- Marco's morphing began to get weird, and Rachel... literally split into two. This wasn't going well. ((ooc: As Blue's OOC post said, we need to make sure that only the people signed up for taking the two 'groups' (Nice Rachel and Marco in one corner, just Mean Rachel in the other) to Quarantine are the ones who actually do that. Other than that, feel free to try and do it! Next to the Mall Hotel, a large bazaar sprawled out through the streets. Food stalls, jewelery stalls, plastic surgery stalls...might want to stay away from that last one. But since the bizaar was close by, it served as a good place for the crew to meet up and start their exploration of XaXing.

It was easy to find the Drunken Dragon Tavern, due to the train, and the fact that a good portion of the crew was familiar with the establishment and could point the way. Kang knew that there were a few already planning on stopping by, and that Kaylee could use the help. He also wanted to get more information on the new people, see who was likely to cause problems (Farseer Ildraniath already had) and who wasn't. There were a few he hoped would show up, as well. Feeling a little happier than usual, despite the Farseer, he took care of business as usual, being sociable and refilling drinks. [Open post is very open. It's so easy to feel weightless in water.
Eva docks her boat, secures it with all the knots she remembers from her home, and jumps into the ocean. The waves are small and the sand at the bottom is just within reach of her feet. In a normal climate, this would be a horrible place to try and keep a boat, but tides and reefs and high shores don't much matter in the Sensoriums, where everything can be fixed and changed the instant it becomes a problem. So she's conjured up a beach and a sea and a perfect replica of her favorite boat from home, and a sunny, breezy day to illuminate the whole thing.
Too often lately she's been scared and angry and melancholy. None of this is going to be fixed with a quick imaginary trip to the beach. But as she floats on her back, breathing in salty air, it's easy to forget that, even if just for the moment.

The location? Shea Stadium, circa late 90's. Two innings in, Mets down by two and up to bat. The occupant? Well, it was mostly filled with a semi-decent crown of fake people, but the only member of the crew currently watching the game was the younger Peter Parker.
The current score didn't really concern Peter. Plenty of time left in game to get back, and the game itself was kind of secondary. He was mostly there to reconnect with himself after the mess that was Fairplay, and what better way than the place where he learned one of the other key lessons that made him who he was.
Still, he didn't mind if anyone else decided to watch the game.

It was a mutual decision that Rein and Ed would be passing customers back and forth between each other. Everyone liked clothing and people liked trinkets being made right? As thus being said, they had put up banners and a nice post with "Atelier Elric" <--- and "Stormwind Clothiers" ---> scribbled on it in fancy Crannagan script. Perfectly legible by anyone who knew at least English.
It was here both were getting ready for receiving customers and it was hoping that they would come and use their businesses wisely.
(ooc: easy enough. Put either Ed or Rein in the subject line so I know who you want, and they'll get something created for you, either it be trinkets/small items/etc or clothing. Both have cookies so drop on by. Repeat customers are certainly welcome.

For all intents and purposes, things had been pretty good for Sasami. A nice little gift from Negi, making some new friends during the latest release, helping a few people trying to get settled in. It was a massive step forward for her compared to earlier where she was doubting herself, complaining about how unfair everyone was and pretty much (as she will admit) being a pain to others.
For now, though, Sasami was more than content on having a little bit of downtime. She would have headed down to Awesome World, but for this, she opted for something much more.
Heading for the sensoriums, Sasami stepped inside... and started to float. She would admit something - her favorite attraction in Awesome World was the ball pit, mostly for the feel of flying. And right now, that's all she wanted to do. Amongst the weightlessness of it all, Sasami closed her eyes and relaxed, her hair fanning out even in their pigtails as she moved.
It was a pretty peaceful feeling to say the least. Hopefully someone would want to join her - it's kinda fun!
