A Listless Feeling... [Open]
For once, things just seemed peaceful for Sasami. Nothing awkward or dangerous or outwardly crazy going on and...
...it made her bored. She enjoyed the craziness of home, the arguments, the yelling, the fighting, the random explosions due to the fighting. The ship didn't give that wonder to her - if it wasn't the laws that the crew voted on long ago, it was Stacy herself keeping everyone in order. She had a feeling that, if they were here, Ryoko and Ayeka would have either been given punishments or just gone bonkers from not fighting over Tenchi. Or at least, that's what she thought.
Her listless wandering lead her over to Awesome World, the theme park Rock designed before his repodding. Though a lot of the rides were active and being maintained, there were other areas around that were left untouched. Curiosity got the better of her and she ran over to the incomplete roller coaster, bypassing the robotic guards still standing there. It seemed to be a basic coaster of sorts, so there were no loops or sharp turns that would get in her way of just walking along the tracks.
Maybe that's all she needed - just to do something a bit dangerous...

So she wandered over to Awesome World, currently on the roof on on of the confection shops. It reminded her a little of Coney Island, which was fine when you weren't constantly worrying about a war in the back of your head. What she did notice was that there was one other very noticeable figure around: it looked as if Sasami was taking a walk on the wild side. She jumped off the shop and walked over.
"Craving something a little different?" She remarked. "I figured you might still be in that cafeteria or whatever, trying to prepare foods."

"A little, yeah. Things have been a bit... slow, so..." she said, shrugging.
She might notice here that she was also wearing that outfit she had picked up on that planet awhile back. She really was trying to loosen up just a bit there.

"Tell me about it," Hit Girl said. "If we were in New York we could have gone downtown, or a restaurant or something. And even so, I'm not exactly going to go partying down when there's a war looming overhead, you know?"
She'd opted for her regular Hit Girl clothes though, which meant purple bulletproof outfit, cape and all. The barrier jacket version she'd

Reaching a spot that was incomplete, she brought herself to the edge and stood there. Quite a distance of a fall, but she wasn't going to fall over. She wasn't that stupid... or desperate.

Hit Girl walked over to where Sasami was perched, then estimated a distance to where they were relative to the distance of falling. She pulled out her grappling hook and shot near one of the farther away poles, making a crooked line from where they were all the way down.
"Well I say, if there's nothing exciting to do, create it. Care to join, Sasami?"
no subject
With a nod, she moved over and held on to Hit Girl tightly.

They charged down at top speed, but this was how Hit Girl worked anyway: this was still safer than jumping roof tops, after all.

She wasn't planning to jump off the tracks, was she?
He walked over to her a little more quickly than usual, making sure he made enough noise to attract her attention. As he approached, he held up the screen of the small device in his hand, which read:
Hello, are you feeling all right? I don't believe this area of the park is finished.

"I'm fine. A little bored, if anything..." she said, chuckling. It was then she realized something. "Did you think I was going to do something?"
no subject
Probably not, but then, I don't see a lot of people hovering around unfinished roller coaster rides, and you looked like you had something on your mind.
no subject
"I guess I'm not used to the quietness here. Back home, there was always something exciting going on - usually between my sister and another roommate." she said. "Here, it's not so much. Stacy usually stops us before we do something crazy, so it's... boring, I guess?"
no subject
He paused for a moment. Oh, the prohibition against fighting other crew members. Uh, do you usually fight with your sister often?
It is very quiet compared to my world, as well. There are usually more... explosions.
no subject
"No, I never really did. We were pretty close, actually." she admitted. "However, she usually argued with others, but... that's how she is. I guess it's an ego thing..."
She laid back, her pigtails slipping between the rails as she did. "I wish Stacy wasn't so restrictive, though. We can't always been nice to each other all the time."

She drifted alongside the abandoned roller coaster, fairly startled to see a familiar figure walking the track. It was high, wasn't it? She floated within arms' reach.
"Sasami!" There was definitely a note of alarm in her voice.
no subject
"Star-chan...!" Sasami called out, surprised. She noticed the note of alarm in her voice. "I-I'm okay... really...!"
no subject
"I am glad to hear it," she commented with a mix of relief and disbelief, "but I wonder what is here. Are you searching for something?"
no subject
"Here? Nothing really. I... just got bored." Sasami admitted. She looked down a bit. "I haven't seen you in awhile, Star-chan. Is everything alright?"
no subject
"I have been...contemplating our situation," Starfire started to explain. "It is not as easy for me to brush off our worries as it once was, and I did not wish to burden you."
no subject
"I can still listen now..."

She was worried about her, wasn't she? Oh, good going...! "Ah... I-I know, but..."
Reason? No good ones, really.
no subject
"Still, this is incomplete. Look over there, part of the track's missing."
no subject
"Oh...! Ah..." she stammered, scratching her head. "I guess I didn't see it. Like you said, I was getting a little... stir crazy, right?"
Would she have wandered off it? Of course not! Not with so many people she cared about here!
no subject
"If you're going stir crazy, then why don't you try something a little safer? Not that an adrenaline-based ride isn't fun but still..."
no subject
Of course, there was always...
With a giggle, Sasami started to turn and continue on.
