1. Negi hadn't expected the spells to work out the first time around, especially when he was doing something as legitimately time consuming such as building a test broom for Cedric to try out later. He had obtained the materials easily enough, and had gone through as many spellbooks as possible on the creation of a flight-worthy broom.
Back home, a broom was used via the natural magical power of a mage, and was a very basic spell. Here however, he was working on imbuing the power of several flight, protective and wind barrier spells into a single item, and was running into trouble keeping the ratio of spells at a tolerable level.
2. Later on, Negi was taking a break, wandering through the city and trying to clear his head. He was still stuck on the broomstick problem, and he was bouncing a ball he had found ages ago off walls, and watching it ricochet around the buildings.
"If only I can get the spells to balance and stick, without having to be renewed several times," grumbled Negi. "I need some kind of insulator first..."

Ayeka was here. Even if it was for one day, Ayeka was here, alive. For Sasami, it made everything worthwhile. But, first things first - she had to introduce her to the people she called family. Aqua, Reimi, Hoshi, Philip, Negi, all of them.
Leading Ayeka to one of their more familiar homes - the Masaki home - Sasami was quick to open up the door and call out.
"Aqua-neesan! Hoshi-neesan! Reimi-neesan! Negi-kun! Anyone still here! I want you to meet someone!" she called out. "Ayeka's here! My sister from home! She's okay!"
Now came the hard part - the waiting.
(OoC: While this is more directed towards those who live at the home, you're more than welcome to tag in to see what the fuss is!)

After everything that happened, Negi was finally running out of gas.
Stumbling into the Masaki Household, he barely made it to the living room as he fell over, clutching a throw pillow as he grumbled. Chamo and Barry were already in the corner sleeping as his pactio cards spilled out all over the floor.
Sleep time was good. | |

Clone branding? Tapestries? Stupid statues who want to show you your past, no matter how traumatic it was?
Real annoying!
At the moment, Sasami's busy laying on the set of carrot-pillows scattered across the second floor, relaxing after that run-in with the statue. Thankfully, her omnicomm's "mysteriously" misplaced, so she doesn't know about Superboy's freak-out over the clones (and if those in her home knew about it, they obviously weren't telling her). Staring up at the ceiling, she just lets the sounds of the household echo through as they go along their business, content with what's going on.
Hanging up proudly on the wall nearby was her new "Barrier Jacket", slightly worn from her romp in the Tapestry Planet, ready for another use if need be. And if what the Tapestry showed was true, it might be sooner than she thought.
"...we really could use a break... again."
(OoC: Yeah, another group post with those in this house! Don't be shy to come in and poke around! Someone'll hit ya up!)

It always felt weird not to be greeted by the sun peeking through the windows of the Masaki home every morning, but for Sasami, she was used to it by this point. Despite being on an alien ship and stuck in the middle of a multiversal war, she decided that she'd keep going through her usual routines, especially after finding the Masaki Home.
At the moment, Sasami was busy making breakfast for those who lived in the home - her sisters Aqua, Starfire, Hoshi, Reimi and their new guest Phillip. Darting from one end of the kitchen, the little girl made sure her "family" was well-fed. If anyone did catch Sasami, they'd notice her not only sporting her usual hair ties but wearing Reimi's ribbon on her right pigtail right above the other tie.
Care to visit this quaint little home?
(OoC: Just a simple mingle post here as well for both the occupants of the home and anyone who wants to drop in! I'll make sure not to hog XD)

It had taken some time for Aqua to get back on her feet after Signum's attack. She'd gotten herself patched up at Medical, but pain was another thing entirely.
As it was, she was limiting herself to the Masaki house, doing her best to take it easy while trying to recover.

After everything that's happened, after all the crap she had been through, Sasami could finally admit one thing: she was home again. True, the palace was her home, but this, the little home that she moved into after being stranded on Earth, was her home. Thanks to the money she had gotten for all those memories, Sasami was able to utterly refurnish (and even upgrade) the house a bit. The bedrooms were fitted with new, comfy beds over the usual futons, the kitchen was filled to the brim with real food (and a few extra fridges to stock up extra), and with a batch of seeds ready to be used for gardening (most of them carrots, but still...!)
It felt nice to be home and, as Sasami relaxed in the living room, she couldn't help but let out a relaxed sigh.
"This... this feels great...!"

Sasami was glad to get out of the Med Bay and back on her feet. While she would love to get back to setting up her restaurant, she decided that a walk was in order, to stretch out her legs a bit. Thus, once she arrived at the City, she decided to wander to the Kohaku River.
Upon walking upstream, she encountered something she didn't expect: her home from Earth. No, not her home - Tenchi's home. Yet, there was something different about it. Wider, seemed roomier, with a deck that extended outward into the river. Wanting someone to tag along to check it out, she made a quick call to Reimi, figuring she'd bothered the others enough the past week. As she wandered to the deck, waiting, her curiosity got the better of her and she looked out over the edge...
...and screamed, scrambling backwards in panic as she saw the image before her: the older her. Gathering her wits, she took another peek, hoping it was just her imagination... and proved it wasn't.
Sasami. Remember. The reflection spoke.
"R-Remember...? Wh-wha... AHHH!" Sasami stammered before quickly clutching her head in pain. Something was terribly wrong...
