"From this hour I ordain myself loos’d of limits and imaginary lines" (Part 1 - Briefing)
A large group of crew members was gathered. In fact, given the mission briefing provided, it was curious that there'd be such a large number for a diplomatic mission.
Planet Designation: Galilee
Status: Terrestrial, H-class.
Non-sentient life: Extensive flora and fauna.
Semi-Sentient Life: Yes.
Sentient Life: Homo Sapiens. [Various translations of "human" appear here so everyone understands it]
Water: 69.5% of the planet's surface.
Climate: Earth-like [Click here for cultural equivalents for non-Earth cultures.]
Landscape: Varied.
Air: Normoxic concentration. Slightly elevated levels of carbon dioxide.
Air Pressure: 101.3 kPa (kilopascals) = 14.7 psi (pounds per square inch)
Sky: Blue. Often overcast.
Sun: A class G2V, yellow star.
Warnings: Wildlife and plant-life can be hazardous. Humans can be hazardous. A human cultural and legal database is available. [click here]
Mission: Successfully negotiate with the Galileeans in exchange for their advanced medical technology.
It was very little to work with, so the crew gathered there possibly had a lot of questions.

Arrivals
[ooc: the usual mingling here, if you want.]
Re: Arrivals
For now, he opted to wait, seeing as this ship had called him for something important.

Re: Arrivals
She had geared up with all her favorite "toys", helmet, buckler, bits of armor, punching gloves, and a knapsack full of things she thought she might need.
Her first "real" mission!
And sure it was a boring sounding title, "Negotiation" bah! That was really more Hiccup or Zetta's thing. But Ruff would give it a shot. After all who was to say that a Viking style negotiation wouldn't involve some punching?
With all the people starting to show up though, Ruff wasn't really sure what to expect from this.
Re: Arrivals
Sorry, Ruffnut, you just... kind of had a running gag about missing these, and in Zetta's universe, running gags were more immutable than physical laws.

Re: Arrivals
He checked the Omnicron's clock. It looked like they had a few minutes before the briefing. Plenty of time to get a feel for the rest of the people going down to the planet. Although maybe he should check his stuff again. Just to make sure he wasn't going to forget anything.

The jibe was friendly, though.

He looked around for any familiar faces in the crowd.

Unseen, he'd also tucked a few objects away. Lockpicks, hidden daggers, a small, compact pistol nicked from the armory. The little things that would make sure he could handle himself if things got messy.

So here she was, standing off to the side as more crewmates filed in, keeping an eye out for familiar faces.

He'd packed as best he could, even going so far as to pack his uniform boots and gauntlets. There was plenty in them that could be useful.
He'd also lost the mask for the moment. It was his identity on the ship, sure, but most cultures didn't react well to masked men in their midst. "Wonder what we're meant to be doing this time."
Re: Arrivals
Sure, he was a little disappointed he'd had to leave his buddy and roommate, Sandy, back on the ship but Taro had stayed behind to look after her and now he could come back with stories to tell her.
Sure, 'negotiating' sounded pretty boring but this was still another planet that he'd never been on before. Besides, the 'advanced technology' part sounds pretty cool to him.
So, he double checks that he brought his weapon with him and looks around.

He looked around at the others, giving kind, quick nods of greeting to the ones he hadn't met personally, yet.

"This is no diplomatic mission--or at least it isn't just a diplomatic mission--if Stacy's bringing in big guns like me," he muttered, though it was loud enough for others to hear.

Re: Arrivals
And so here he was, bag she'd packed over his shoulder, comm system out to tell Amy he'd been kidnapped from medical for this mission. It never stopped, did it? He should be used to that by now. Though he couldn't imagine why she'd pick him for anything, diplomatic or not. That seemed like more of the Doctor's show, not his. He was support at best.
He'd seen a few familiar faces, at least. So he wouldn't be entirely out of his element. He just hoped Stacy had remembered some sort of medical supplies, better to be ready than desperate.

Maybe she was asking for it.
She carried with her a bag filled with her usual inventions and guns, and her trusty morpher, ever ready if something went wrong.

Re: Arrivals
Someday, he's going to write some hella ridiculous memoirs. Possibly even an entire series. Sell it to a television studio and get royalties.
He's brought his med kit (its broken strap held together by a rather ingenious combination of baggage stickers and paperclips), and other than that, just his sparkling personality.
