2nd-Sep-2011 05:43 pm - A Housewarming Party for a Castle
Celestia's new home was a grand residence indeed: the citadel of Camelot, a place which featured heavily in the myths and legends of Earth. Not that Celestia was familiar with these myths, of course.

Guests were free to wonder around the castle at will, but Celestia had decided that today, the courtyard would be a lovely place for everypony to get together. There were a few tables set up, with the treats Hoshi and Applejack had so generously made, and Rarity's beautiful decorations. And later, Celestia planned to invite her guests to ride on the Ferris wheel that happened to be located just outside the castle.

The crewmembers had suffered a great loss recently, but she hoped that this would bring them some small amount of joy, and the comfort of friendship in this time.

[[ooc: Sorry this is a day late guys, uni ended up being much more hectic yesterday than I expected. Anyways, I've put up a subthread for Celestia greeting visitors and rides on the London Eye. Those that ICly helped out this party can also set up sub-threads for the food tables/games/whatever as well, if you guys want to. (Edit: The sub-thread for Hoshi & Applejack's nibbles is up here!)

But other than that, feel free to start your own threads and tag each other. People can also wonder around and explore the castle - it's the BBC Merlin version of Camelot, but only the citadel itself (as opposed to the whole city).]]

It had taken a meeting with Negi and handing over the keys, but Shiori had a place to herself. True it was the now defunct Atelier Elric, but she kept the name. One of the things she had learned when she had been sent off for school due to Fate’s insistence, was that she learned how to do the basics of magic.

As such, she put a sign up. “Now Re-opened, doing small scale transmutations and potions. Inquire within.”

Shiori hoped this would attract people who were coming near the circle of small shops, and she lit the burner that she had, and began to brew, getting lost in the motions.

With any luck, she wouldn’t have to worry too much about things as she turned on the music player which started in on a fairly nice song, and she began to hum along with it as she set to work, skirt swishing along as she fairly danced about.

Negi had been released from the hospital, and he was actually standing. Chamo had gone off somewhere, but he had been driven home from the medical wing to the home he made in the city.

However, he had found a letter addressed to him, and a brass key. As such, Negi flew over to the shop which was locked up tight. Atelier Elric. The store was brightly colored and there were tasteful decorations everywhere, as well as several circles and such inscribed into pasteboard.

Negi had spent hours there in between training, goofing off with Devlin and otherwise reading when he wasn’t being foisted off on Ren and Phillip, and there were really good memories. He picked up the jacket that was laying in the corner, and hung it up respectfully.

A book of notes stood at the side, and he opened it up, reciting the quote that lay there. “Humankind cannot gain without giving. To obtain, equal amount must be given. This is the law of Equivalent Exchange.”

A little sticky was attached to the bottom of it and Negi smiled, reading it. “Magic on the other hand, is totally wonky with its own set of rules. Turn the world inside out with it. – Ed.”

With great flourish, Negi threw the curtains open as he put up the sign. He would do his best, for now.

It was still Atelier Elric in spirit, as Negi added a sign in the shape of a white wing, proclaiming the site.

“Sleep well, Ed.” Said Negi as he began to do something he hadn’t done in ages – potion making and magic-based alchemy.

It was a mutual decision that Rein and Ed would be passing customers back and forth between each other. Everyone liked clothing and people liked trinkets being made right? As thus being said, they had put up banners and a nice post with "Atelier Elric" <--- and "Stormwind Clothiers" ---> scribbled on it in fancy Crannagan script. Perfectly legible by anyone who knew at least English.

It was here both were getting ready for receiving customers and it was hoping that they would come and use their businesses wisely.

(ooc: easy enough. Put either Ed or Rein in the subject line so I know who you want, and they'll get something created for you, either it be trinkets/small items/etc or clothing. Both have cookies so drop on by. Repeat customers are certainly welcome.

PS: I am feeling much better this morning.)
