Something happens outside the ship. There's a concussive noise like something docking, and then the doors to Obs open again, to reveal a mostly intact, but somewhat bedraggled away team. One of them is injured, and part of the group works to get her down to MedBay, some of the others look stoic and a touch upset with what they've learned.

Some look pissed off that their various morphers and power suits have been stolen away from them again by Stacy's tentacles or dampened.

Something happens INSIDE the ship. A handful of individuals are released from their pods after quite some time of running imaginary mazes.

They have one seriously injured person and few minor injuries here and there. Better get those folks some medical attention, stat.

Once everyone seems to be breathing normally again Doc takes a look around the room at the teams all clustered together. The one really serious injury he can see already has Jean and B5 in attendance, so... taking care of everyone else seems like the thing to do.

He pushes his thumb and forefinger into the corners of his mouth (yes through the mask. ninja tricks, don't knock em) and fires off an ear-piercing attention getting sort of whistle.

"Hey! Not to usurp my fellow medical people, but can I get a show of hands on who's injured besides the girl with the oxygen mask on? We've got three doctors 'free' right now so if we've got more than a few of you that need immediate attention we're gonna have to get you patched up in due time based on severity. If you are bleeding internally or missing an organ now is the time to say so."

Yeah, still having trouble breathing and she can't move her arm or else it feels like it's on fire.

Also, her fingers are turning purple and they're numb.



It's the lack of oxygen getting to her brain talking, really.

The Chief has seen better days. Heck, he's had better weeks. Months. Years, even. He's tired and he's frustrated, and the ship taking his armor back on the way up has not improved his mood.

Grif? Grif is Grif. He looks around the Obs Deck a little warily, sizing up all these strangers. At least the thumping sound didn't do anything bad yet.

John was halfway through his second self-guided tour of the ship when the Orbs deck made its noisy return. At the sound of raised voices, he performed his own version of an Immelmann turn and headed back to see what was going on, absently thumbing Winona's grip as he walked.

"Hey," he barked, as soon as he was in earshot of another person, "there a party goin' on I didn't know about?"

"Hi! I'm Wyn Callahan, and I'm a mad scientist." the blonde girl in a rather very large flannel shirt over her plantsuit pipes up cheerfully. She gives the assembled people a little wave and a nervous grin, figuring it was probably better to get the awkward pronouncement out of the way first thing.

"I'm really not that crazy, I'm not interested in human experimentation, I've never tried to take over the world, and I'm not Scottish." she says quickly, trying to preempt all those super-awkward questions that follow statements like that (and one pet peeve of hers). "Mostly I build robots, but I can do computer programming and general mechanics as well."

Not that Chekov had that much important things to discuss. He hadn't even started trying to puzzle out the computer systems or any of the other things that Stacey had available for the 'crew' to look over. Needless to say after managing to finally find his way to the Library he had heard the Obs Deck return back to base which detoured his path.

Upon seeing even more people the kid murmured something in Russian before stepping inside past the people. "Zhis is a bigger wessel zhan I zhought it vas.." Put things in perspective, really. This ship, Stacey, could easily dwarf the Enterprise. Looking back to the people exiting, some not happy, others more than unreleased, Pavel cleared his throat. "Is zhere anyzhing I can do to help?"

"So, you be de ones in charge, eh?" a tall man wearing a brown duster over his leaf-suit speaks up, with a thick Cajun accent, from off in one corner where he is standing and toying with what looks to be a deck of playing cards.

"De name's Gambit."

Mei Ling pops in as happy as she ever is. She's interested in meeting the command staff and some of the engineers that were away.

Daniel always wants to meet new people, even more so if they have a better idea what's going on and are... somewhat in charge. Though he does stop and look them over somewhat cautiously, "I'd... I'd ask what happened to you guys but... something tells me I won't like the answer."

He cleared his throat, "Uh... I'm Dr. Daniel Jackson, I'm an archeologist."

Amidst the crush of people, Lafiel will be looking for her commander. Then, if she spies her, she'll check to make sure she's not busy.

Only if these conditions are met will she introduce herself to her new commander with the Abh salute, index and middle finger against the forehead.

Good thing Kelly had heard the thumps and come running to the Obs Deck. When the doors open she glances at crew members she hasn't seen. The others seem to be looking after the injured crew member so she won't need to help yet. She's looking for one person in particular though.

"You people must be the senior crew."

Duncan is also rather quiet. He's alert for any buzz from the crowd or the returning away crew, but thus far there is none. It's a bit of a relief, as this Stacey thing would probably refuse to let them fight anyway, from what he'd been hearing.

Booth is in full FBI mode. "I want to say something. I don't suppose anyone can elighten us as to what the heck is going on here, can they? Or what about the head-voice? I haven't heard any more from it lately. And I don't like being jerked around by unseen people. Or whatever they are."

Danny is there, blending into the scenery. He's fairly unassuming, and being able to go about without too much notice makes it easier to listen in on people. Right now though, he's starting to think he needs to take some initiative.

As Chris had gotten clothes and that disgusting goo off of him, it didn't take him very long to get to where most if not all the people were. He didn't like the fact that without his Advent Deck, he was likely to be a liability.

Nia came straggling in after many of the others had already been released, as hers had been one of the last pods to open. Considering the circumstances, though, she seemed calm and cheerful enough, despite the strangeness of her new surroundings. As she approached the commanders, she gave them a dignified bow.

"Hello," she said. "My name is Nia. It is nice to meet you. Did you find yourself here suddenly, as well?" There was a slight pause. "Oh! And have you seen my friend, Simon? He is very nice, and he knows many things."

Wow, this observation deck is gross in a totally new way. Like a giant alien fetus, dying and gangrenous. Yuri shudders as she makes her way through the crowd, watching the tired looking group get off.

She sees Gambit-ojiisan and gives him a shy little wave.

Returning to the Fold

Whoa. Whoa, whoa. He'd just got up and shit was already going down. A fog of confusion had settled itself quite firmly in Tony's mind, a sense of deva vu. He had been here and he had done this before.

He'd gotten himself dressed, had groggily tried to head to someplace with people in it to ask some questions.. if he could think of them by the time he got there.
