Queries and Quibbles--mind your Q's

Something happens outside the ship. There's a concussive noise like something docking, and then the doors to Obs open again, to reveal a mostly intact, but somewhat bedraggled away team. One of them is injured, and part of the group works to get her down to MedBay, some of the others look stoic and a touch upset with what they've learned.

Some look pissed off that their various morphers and power suits have been stolen away from them again by Stacy's tentacles or dampened.

Something happens INSIDE the ship. A handful of individuals are released from their pods after quite some time of running imaginary mazes.

Oh look. A nice looking blond lady. "Oh, i'm okay. This place is just kindof icky...I guess you get used to it."

Samus nods. She has sort of a... soft spot for children. She always has.

"It does, did you just arrive?"

Yuri nods. "I'm Yuri Otani." She says and gives a short little bow (which gives her a full view of borg, if she cares to notice him). The adults are so much nicer here than at home...

"My name is Samus Aran," she keeps things short and simple and chooses to make no other comments.

"Oh! You're one of the team leaders! You must have just gotten back! What's it like down there? Is it scary?" Not her team, though. She kinda wishes it were, this person is pretty and seems nice.

"It's not that scary, I'm used to these sort of things. Which team are you on?" Samus is both relieved and worried at the same time by the fact that this girl is not on her team. On one hand, she'd have to pay special attention to her on missions, but on the other she wouldn't be around to make sure nothing happens to her.

"K...kilo. Everyone else on the team has a cool second name..." She pauses as she sees someone being carried off on a stretcher. "Oh no! Is she going to be ok?"

Kilo, okay. Samus hadn't met the leader herself, but she'd make sure to now so she could check in on Yuri.

Samus looks over and sees Leela on the stretcher. She turns back to Yuri, "Yes. Once she gets to the medbay she'll be fine. She was in my group on the last mission and had a little accident."

"Oh...are accidents common?" This doesn't make her feel all that much better about the situation really.

"No," Okay, so knowing the crew that was probably a lie. "I'll make sure nothing happens to you."

She really wasn't in a position to promise that, seeing as they were on separate teams, but she is going to keep it no matter what.

"You're nice. The adults here are nice. It's not like home at all..." Borg rolls his froggy eyes at that but otherwise remains silent.

Nice is generally not a term associated with Samus. There's the tiniest twitch of a smile, but it's gone in a flash.

She does comment on Borg this time, "You have an interesting hat."
