Queries and Quibbles--mind your Q's

[ooc: Read this bit.]

Something happens outside the ship. There's a concussive noise like something docking, and then the doors to Obs open again, to reveal a mostly intact, but somewhat bedraggled away team. One of them is injured, and part of the group works to get her down to MedBay, some of the others look stoic and a touch upset with what they've learned.

Some look pissed off that their various morphers and power suits have been stolen away from them again by Stacy's tentacles or dampened.

Something happens INSIDE the ship. A handful of individuals are released from their pods after quite some time of running imaginary mazes.

Daniel always wants to meet new people, even more so if they have a better idea what's going on and are... somewhat in charge. Though he does stop and look them over somewhat cautiously, "I'd... I'd ask what happened to you guys but... something tells me I won't like the answer."

He cleared his throat, "Uh... I'm Dr. Daniel Jackson, I'm an archeologist."

"Cybil Bennett, Brahm's PD, currently one of the lieutenant commanders on board," says Cybil, holding out a hand. "How much of an explanation have you gotten so far?"

Daniel sighed and ran a hand through his hair, "Oh, just that we're been abducted onto this ship, that we're 'the Chosen,' and we're... going somewhere important apparently." He gestures upward, "The... ship wasn't every helpful with the details."

"Unfortunately, that's about as much as we've gotten. We're learning more, but we try not to talk about it too publicly--we have a way of making the conversation more...private, since we don't know who's listening in."

She eyes the ceiling signficantly.

"The long and short of it is this ship is sentient, has pulled people in against their will, not only from different worlds, but different alternate dimensions and different times. We've had to fight things like alien bugs and brain slugs, and she just sent a bunch of us down on a mission to a variant of Earth where everyone was dead--killed by something called the Ohm."
