Queries and Quibbles--mind your Q's

[ooc: Read this bit.]

Something happens outside the ship. There's a concussive noise like something docking, and then the doors to Obs open again, to reveal a mostly intact, but somewhat bedraggled away team. One of them is injured, and part of the group works to get her down to MedBay, some of the others look stoic and a touch upset with what they've learned.

Some look pissed off that their various morphers and power suits have been stolen away from them again by Stacy's tentacles or dampened.

Something happens INSIDE the ship. A handful of individuals are released from their pods after quite some time of running imaginary mazes.

"Really." As best as Chris figured out Al was completely serious. Which meant he was either crazy or right. But he's seen some crazy stuff as well, no need for that kind of reaction to a stranger.

"That not... the craziest thing I've heard but... Without my 'stuff' I won't be much use in a fight. It was taken from me by the ship, I guess. Can you tell me how many people are here currently?"

"Yes, really," Elfangor said.

"The ship seems to take things that may be dangerous for itself, but it seems for planned operations, you should get it back," he said in what he hoped was a reassuring tone. Of course, he didn't bring up unplanned. "As for the amount...with the recently podpopped, it should be between 110 to 140, I believe."

"Huh." Chris replied.

"The item I need isn't dangerous, at least not by itself. It's kind of hard to explain... Out of curiousity, has anyone by the name of either Kit, Len, or Maya come through on the ship?"

"Is it a part of something? Or requires something?" He asked. At least that's how things were usually not dangerous by themselves.

"I don't believe so, but I do not know all the names yet."

"Well..." To say Chris was a tad conflicted was a bit of an understatement. He really wasn't sure if he should tell the truth about himself. He was sure Len probably wouldn't approve of his actions then, maybe Maya and Kit but who knows.

Chris next words were barely above a whisper. "It's a power source that is connected to me. No one else can use it, but certain people would try to use it from my world. There's supposed to be eleven others but if no one else is here..."

"It should be rather simple to see if there's anyone you recognize, after everything has calmed down. If you didn't receive it, Stacy likely has it or it's not here. Either way, no one here should be able to get it," Elfangor explained. At least as how he understood things, they shouldn't.

Chris thought about it for a moment. "I don't know what would be worse though, if someone else had it. Or if it's hear and I can access it. But thanks. At least this way no one will be after it. Do you know where we get some food and water?"

"I do. Though I should warn you, it's not very....appetizing," Elfangor said. At least from the general reaction he'd seen people have to the food.

"Hmm? How so?" How bad could food aboard a spaceship actually be anyway? "Where can I find it?"

"It's....hard to describe," Elfangor said. Namely because he never tried it with a human mouth, and Andalites' sense of taste was far weaker than there's. "It should suffice for what you need though. It's this way," he said, leading him to the Mess hall.

"Thanks, Al. I appreciate it." With nothing better to do at the very moment, he eagerly followed Al to the mess hall.

"You are welcome," Al replied, leading him to the mess hall and gesturing to the scanners. "You need to let them scan you for it to decide what you need,"

Scan him? That seems a little strange, but then again he was on a living spaceship. He stepped in front of the scanners and waited. "Okay then."

"There are different species here. Not everyone can eat the same thing," Elfangor explained as he watched the scan happen and the glop plopped down on the tortilla plate.
