The surprising thing about Stacy was the Doctor hadn’t thought she couldn’t be more beautiful, in all her (sometimes) slimy, brilliant glory.
Then he saw her true face, right before she fought back with the rest of the crew.
Ah. So maybe he can be wrong from time to time, the Doctor finding that life on Stacy with the rebellion was easier in that you weren’t stumbling over Daligig or Kessek giving their impressive glowers, as if it was difficult not to just step on you and be done with (well, that and trying to avoid them when they decided enough was enough and it was far too long since they’d shot anything)…and then there was the clean-up. Considering how hard the Daligig had fought back, the Doctor had to say he expected far more casualties than Stacy’s crew had and this was probably the part where that voice in the back of his head bothering him with all sorts of things like niggling feelings.
It was probably telling him all sorts of annoyingly logical things, like in the end they probably should have been spacedust. He told it to shush.
The Doctor threw himself into trying to fix the TARDIS now that he had a second wind of sorts. With Stacy being twice as beautiful as before, the work was coming along much faster than before, now that she wasn’t resisting him. In fact, he’d go so far that she’d even given him advice – not that he’d be ready to admit to his companions that yes, the Doctor could at times need jiggery-pokery tips from a ship. At this rate, he thought he could actually tell Jamie, Barbara, Ian, Victoria and all his other friends a proper when instead of hedging around it and sending them on errands to get parts he didn’t even need. The Doctor roamed the halls of Stacy, sometimes in the hanger, sometimes rummaging about the City, picking his way through the damage and looking for anything that could stand in for an influx injector (or a toaster. A toaster would actually be better than a standard-issue injector!).
So yes. Right! The Doctor was in need of a toaster/influx injector. He just may temporarily kidnap anyone – or anything – he thought might be useful on that front.

Sherlock was feeling better now and there was plenty of ship to see. Some on the ship might have been treated to the sight of him walking through the city, popping around corners and staring off at the nearby buildings as if trying to figure out angles of visibility, or paying unusual attention to the mud and the cobblestones in some places. He'd made a point to avoid and ignore most of the people he'd come across while doing it, however. Distractions.
He'd also tried to catch up on his reading--his knowledge base was severely lacking in the face of the new technology here, and the technology that might be found planetside.
But one couldn't spend all day reading and exploring and he and John had months of lost time to make up for. After spending a year and a half of being nearly inseparable, their time apart had taken its toll on both men, especially because of the less-than-favorable conditions it occurred under.
That was why Sherlock had taken time away from his exploration to spend more time with John. This evening, the two of them were parked in one of the Media rooms, one of the larger ones that they'd staked out for themselves. Seated comfortably next to each other, shoulder to shoulder, their feet up on little meat-ottomans, they were sitting there watching movies, all of them chosen by John and most likely selected with the specific purpose of getting Sherlock shouting at the screen.
Specifically things like: "Nooo! You imbecile! He's behind the door--who goes into a room that possibly has a killer hiding in it and doesn't check behind the door?"
If people actually joined them to watch, they weren't going to chase them out.

The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their numbers. Several people are set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicomms and comm rings. They are also told they must read information about their current situation and a survival guide with their new omnicomm. New crewmates might see a tall dragonish guy with wings (but don't call him that), a large afro attached to a smaller girl, and talking ponies among their number. There are also several authoritative-looking figures ready to introduce themselves. There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in. But thankfully this time, there's a system that was set up to aid the new crew members with a few more experienced ones. On the surface of his emotions, Terry was feeling pretty good, all things considered. He was now on the security team. His best friend was on the ship now. The former Robins had agreed to be a part of an actual team with him. Underneath that surface feeling somewhat content, though, there was something worse. He'd swore to himself, the second time he'd woken from the pods, that he'd get involved with everything going on on the ship. That he'd make the Ohm pay for everything they'd ever done. But now, he was feeling listless. He'd make steps, but he didn't know where to go from there.
He wandered around the ship like usual, but now that he'd realized this, he was in a slight daze. He was pissed off at himself, and didn't really know what to do. There were times in his life when he'd really needed guidance - his stint in Juvie, his father's death - and this was another one of them.
Hopefully he could find this guidance from someone on the ship.

Somewhere in the hallways, a chute opened up in the wall, and unceremoniously deposited Clark Kent flat on his back before promptly closing up.
Clark picked himself up, rubbing the back of his neck out of reflex rather than any sort of pain.
"Y'know, ONE of these days someone's not gonna take so kindly to you lying about that cake GlaDOS." he said, glaring at the spot the exit had disappeared from.

Things were not good. This was the polite way of putting things, anyway. SHODAN had announced herself over the ship's systems and now there were crazy, deadly robots running around. And worst of all, Khaji was silent. He wasn't dead, Jaime was sure of that. He would have felt it. But distressingly, somehow, they were cut off from each other. And Jaime was just now realizing how horribly alone he felt without the faint buzzing presence of his friend and partner constantly at the back of his mind, ready to offer advice, a sarcastic quip (he was getting really good at that) or some mild observation.
So here he was, the Blue Beetle, darting through the corridors and dodging robots to check on a friend. Without powers. Great. If he was in bad shape, how as M'gann holding up? He scurried at ast into the crew quarters and headed down the line to her room, throwing open the door.
"M'gann? Are you okay There are a bunch of robots out here!"

Megan didn't often spend a great deal of time in the sensoriums. Escapism was rarely appealing to her - at least not as much as problem solving was - but every once in a while homesickness would drive her to some illusory indulgence.
Today she lay on her back on the ground, splayed out on top of a large soft blanket like a ginger starfish, red hair a loose cloud around her head. The ground she had made her bed on was barren for the most part, an empty plain of rich red earth that stretched for miles around her into the darkness. Above her hung the bright tapestry of stars that provided her only light, the stars she remembered seeing laying in the front yard of her childhood home, peering up into Mars' midnight sky.
Stargazing had always been calming to her. It stood to reason that even here on Stacy the ritual would still work, just as it had still worked on Earth back at home.

Paco had been among the first people to wake up in a puddle of alien snot in the Pod Caverns. He'd been around to greet almost everyone currently awake on board the ship, if not at Pod Pop then at whatever time he'd been released from the Medbay or from GLaDOS' maze-running. Some people probably thought he was maze-running right now -- he hadn't been causing much of a ruckus lately.
He wasn't running mazes. He hadn't been for awhile, but he really was just waiting for GLaDOS to grab him again to make sure his soul wasn't going to fall out or whatever it was that she tested. With the mood he was in, he wasn't sure that it wasn't about to.
Lately, he had settled himself at the Vatican. He wasn't exactly a big religion kind of guy, he was way more into sleeping in late than dressing up for church and all that. But it was pretty quiet in his corner of the Vatican, and right now he didn't really know where else to turn. He leaned back against the wall, staring up at the ceiling like it might have an answer for him. It didn't, but talking to the ceiling beat talking to himself.
"You pick a lousy-ass time to break out the neck-punching. Just FYI."

Tim had returned to the ship for a time, wanting to get away from 'Happy Happy Fun World,' at least for a while. He might still return later, to make sure there was no trouble, but for the time being? He'd much rather be back on the ship.
After getting some rest (and probably sleeping longer than he had in a long time), he had, of course, returned to work. There was something nice about the opportunity to get some work done in relative silence, anyway.
First, as Red Robin, he had spent a bit of time in each of his departments, checking up on individual projects, seeing if there were loose ends he could tie up, or else new things he could work on, in the meantime. Even if it was supposed to be an extended break, he didn't really feel at ease if he thought there were things that could use working on.
And, eventually, he shed the costume in his room, and headed to Hydroponics. The closest thing to fresh air on the ship might be nice for the lingering headache he still had, if nothing else. He settled himself under a tree, a terminal in hand with a novel on it-- to switch to in case someone came to investigate what the shifty teen was looking at. Otherwise, he would be working on some work from programming, seeing if he could pick apart anything useful.
((ooc: Feel free to bother him as either Tim or as Red Robin-- he can basically be found anywhere as either, though he's prioritising his workplaces.))

In the days following podpop, Maxine had been around the ship enough to try and get a hold on everything-- there was a lot to take in, certainly, especially with how big the ship was. A lot had taken some time to sink in, as well, with the stories of destroyed homes, but Maxine was doing her best to not dwell on that too much, to not let herself get upset, and instead just let herself be overtaken by the fascination she had in the ship as whole. Which wasn't that hard to do, considering that Stacy was huge and amazing and so very, very cool. Maxine could really appreciate it, and she wanted to get to know her as much as possible. She just hoped that once she figured it all out, she'd be able to fit in okay, too. Or at least get a handle on things.
In the meantime, she was making an effort to take a dent out of her city exploration, considering the enormity of it (she wasn't really sure if she could explore the whole thing, even with her flight). Humming to herself, she flew low to the ground, just a few feet above, a whirlwind of air carrying her around the city, while she kept an eye out for anything interesting she might encounter, or even just people to talk to while she was there.

Hoshi was starting to feel a lot better than she did previously and she decided to continue her relaxation by taking a small walk to Hydroponics. She hadn't been here too much, but it never hurt to go to somewhere new here. Following right behind her was Seraphiel, who was in his eagle form for right now.
When she entered it, she took in a breath of air and slowly exhaled it. Why hadn't she come to this place before? It was gorgeous! With a wide smile, she took a run around before deciding to stop and just relax on the grass. She laid back, using her good arm to use as a pillow and her other one at her side.
"I have to come back here more often," she muttered to herself, content to just lay back and bask in the sunlight that was washing over her.

The light of the yellow sun that warmed Balisair shone brightly into Obs Deck. It was almost cheerful, like they weren't on a creepy ship made of meat, like they were somewhere that could have had wheat fields under a bright Kansas sky.
It felt like morning.
For a moment, Kon's hand pressed against the surface of the funeral pod, and those that had viewed the Tapestry would suddenly see what they'd seen once before--a hand on a funeral pod, a portent of a death of one of their own, now come to pass.
Inside the pod, barely visible through the clear membrane, Superman's cape covered his body. Superboy had found that he just couldn't keep the original, sewn by Ma Kent herself. No, it belonged with him. Kon planned to have another made out of the cloak given to him by Rory.

Rarity stood in the simulation of The Carousel Boutique, recalling the colours and atmosphere of the place. A hologram of Opalescence was sitting on the table, swishing its tail and looking at Rarity. "Do you think this gem would do, Opalescence?" She levitated a red gem and the cat blinked. "Or this one?" Rarity asked, levitating a blue one. The feline mewed and stretched. The unicorn smiled and continued to play-work with the pony outfit she was currently pre-occupied with. - Tags:!location: sensoriums, !status: open, applejack, cassie, hank pym, hit girl, kanoe zouichi, miss martian/m'gann m'orzz, morgan knight, pinkie pie, rarity

He hadn't expected to find it. Not here. It wasn't important. It didn't turn into a robot or do anything particularly special except take people from one place to another. But all the same, it was here. Jaime looked at the worn truck his father had driven for years, the one that had vanished in a ball of flame when the Reach had blown up his old house in an attempt to destroy his family. He clambered into the bed, touching at the worn paint. And looking at that truck, feeling it under his hands, it hit him like a ton of bricks.
He was alone. Very alone. Only one person he really, truly knew was here, and that was Paco. Sure there was Tim and Kara and the others, but it wasn't the same. Not the same as family. he could still see Milagro and her smile, the brightest smile that he could think of, even when she was a little pill. His mom, nagging at him to make sure he got his homework done before going out to save the world, supporting him through all the danger and stress that this life put him through. His father, telling him that he was a good man, even when he couldn't possibly save everybody. The worst part was that he didn't even know for sure. Were they in the pods? People said they probably were but there was no guarantee, no way of checking on them. They could be gone, all of them, erased from existence.
He teetered across the truck and sat heavily against the back of the cab. With a quiet sob, he put his head in his hands and very quietly began to cry, shoulders shaking.
