A break from the break
Tim had returned to the ship for a time, wanting to get away from 'Happy Happy Fun World,' at least for a while. He might still return later, to make sure there was no trouble, but for the time being? He'd much rather be back on the ship.
After getting some rest (and probably sleeping longer than he had in a long time), he had, of course, returned to work. There was something nice about the opportunity to get some work done in relative silence, anyway.
First, as Red Robin, he had spent a bit of time in each of his departments, checking up on individual projects, seeing if there were loose ends he could tie up, or else new things he could work on, in the meantime. Even if it was supposed to be an extended break, he didn't really feel at ease if he thought there were things that could use working on.
And, eventually, he shed the costume in his room, and headed to Hydroponics. The closest thing to fresh air on the ship might be nice for the lingering headache he still had, if nothing else. He settled himself under a tree, a terminal in hand with a novel on it-- to switch to in case someone came to investigate what the shifty teen was looking at. Otherwise, he would be working on some work from programming, seeing if he could pick apart anything useful.
((ooc: Feel free to bother him as either Tim or as Red Robin-- he can basically be found anywhere as either, though he's prioritising his workplaces.))

As Red Robin!
"Yo, Red Robin, what you doing in here? This is your chance to kick back and floss, not beast out over some dead-ends, dawg." He holds some of his prize out to Tim. "Sour Patch Kid?"

"No thanks," he replies, turning the candy down with a raised hand. "But I was out there. I think that was enough."
no subject
Granted, not like the entire programming department isn't stuffed to the gills with workaholics and socially awkward dweebs substituting code for human interaction. Even Punchy's picked up on that trend.
no subject
"I take it you're not back for long, then?" he asks, instead.

She's been on the ship for a while but has only managed to speak to so many people. Tim is one of the handful from home that she knows but has yet to really meet on board and him being on his own and convieniently right there - it seems like as good a time as any to finally say hello.
"Hello."
She doesn't want to invade his space by taking a spot under the tree without being invited so she settles for 'sitting' in the air, floating across from him with an almost shy smile.
no subject
He looks up at her when she greets him, and he gives he a nod and a smile. He considers her a friend, certainly, considering their time together on the Titans, even if he'd not been as close to her as some others.
"Hey Megan," he says, lifting one hand in a half wave. The friendly gesture is meant to show that she's welcome to join him, if she wants.
no subject
She takes his invitation as given and settles onto the grass next to him.
"You're back from shore-leave already too, huh?"

He arrived at the precinct a little earlier then twenty minutes from sending his last message. If there was one thing he liked about not having to fight crime on a daily basis anymore, it was that he could keep promised meeting times.
And so he stood out of the way of anyone, keeping an eye out for Tim, hoping he could still recognize him... and that he hadn't changed too much.
no subject
He stood off to the side, checking over his comm quietly, before he raised his eyes to the figure who had only entered a moment before. He watched him carefully for a brief second, eyes narrowed slightly under the cowl. The suit he showed up in leant credibility to his story, of course, though Tim questioned if there were any ulterior motives.
Stepping out and moving closer to the man, he spoke up. "Batman, I take it." He said in his gruffer tone. Then, adding for clarification, "Red Robin."
no subject
"But we're part of the same... family, and I need to be sure we - you, me, Dick - know about each other." He paused a little at the word 'family'. He hardly knew the rest of the Batfamily in his time, knowing Barbara Gordon the best, besides Bruce. But he'd started to feel like he was actually a part of it, before he'd gone back into the pods.
no subject
"Understandable," he said, a bit stiffly. He wasn't sure about the word 'family' himself-- he didn't know Terry, though Dick had been his 'brother' for a long time. If they'd known each other, were they close now? He'd seen them talking on the comms, at least. "A common motivation is good reason to work together."

"Avoiding the park?" Zouichi asked.
no subject
He coughed slightly, trying to show it as surprise, and he flashed a winning smile. "Kind of," he said, making the effort to put his voice somewhere between Tim Drake and Tim Wayne-- private school educated, smooth talking socialite. "If we're going to have a break, I thought I'd rather spend it reading." He cast a glance up at the bird, but paid it no mind for now.
no subject
And the build...
And the posture...
Oh, of course. It was Red Robin.
"What happened to your costume? Did you fall into a puddle on your way back?" Zouichi honestly thought this, or something like this, must have been exactly what had happened. Because Tim seemed really into wearing that suit, and so OBVIOUSLY.
no subject
Tim's posture stiffened slightly at the question, and the smile dropped just slightly. Obviously it was pointless to pretend to not know what Zouichi was talking about. And lying would get him nowhere, all things considered.
Maybe he should have used one of his sleazier voices after all.
"No," he said, dropping the friendly socialite voice completely, and edging towards Red Robin's voice. "Let's call it a break."

If she only knew that he was someone she'd met quite some time ago...
"I'm not usually at this part of the ship, but I thought everyone went down to the planet to relax! 'Course, I was down there myself but...!"
If Tim were to look to his left, he'd see a wooden staff near the tree that wasn't his.
no subject
He did not, however, expect to run into that many people, let alone here and let alone... invisible?
He frowned, hearing a faint voice, and noticing that staff.
"Is someone here?" he asked, flatly, voice a bit more serious than 'Tim' normally used.

"...You're not who I think you are, are you?" With her ability to talk to the air, Hay Lin would know almost immediately what was truth and what wasn't. "If you can't go into detail, it's okay! I know what it's like."

As RR
And Neuropathy... that in particular had stood out to her. Fuu didn't think her student's knowledge of computer programming from 1998 would be terribly helpful, but it was still a starting point. And she was good at languages and math.
She was rather surprised to see someone in a mask and cape, though. "Ah... hello?"
no subject
He glanced up when someone entered the room, a face that he didn't recognise-- not from Neuropathy, nor from around the ship in general (she was likely new). He frowned just faintly, and asked outright, "Can I help you?"
no subject
She looked around the glowing terminals, not able to disguise the slight sense of awe. So this was where the crew interfaced with Stacy? An enormous living organism, but still programmed and guided by tiny things like them; it would be like a human being piloted around the streets by ants. "This is Neuropathy, right?"
