Cosmic Bees and Beedog : Part 1 -- A Call to Arms
Who: CLOSED | SHORE LEAVE
Where: SPACE (Space space). Technically.
Summary: Guys & Girls in tight beesuits with no pants have adventures where good guys and bad guys are so much in their set spectrum they might have good and evil headbands.
Warnings: Bees and Wasps,
It so once happened that in a Galaxy far away in the multiverse, the B's did do battle against the Evil Giant Wa'sps. The Wa'sps have been trying to destroy the B's to take their precious planetary honey reserves, but they have always managed to keep them at bay.
Until now.
Their newest leader, evil Wa'sps Queen Galactica, threatens to overtake the Sacred Hive and the entire B'Universe in one fell swoop. the battle has been ongoing for months, with neither side gaining an advantage but now the Wa'sps have reformed ranks and with boosted numbers, attack the central planet and its castle. The palace under siege, the Queen and Princess can only look on from their holodeck as their brave warriors to battle against a foe they cannot win against.
"We do not have much choice," Queen'B replies, sighing, as yet another squadron is complete annihilated. Her soldier teams are scrambling with the charts, her guardians tense around her. They all work to make sure the central hive is safe, but there is precious little time. "I knew that in my lifetime, such a thing would happen. We must call for them, Tiny Princess B'B'. We must contact the warriors that will be able to wield the ancient weapons and defeat the Wasps once and for all."
"Mother!" The Princess' voice is harsh, frightened, as every hit makes part of the hive's metallic layer threaten to shake off completely and fall on them. "Those are nothing but children's tales! Surely there is no giant spaceship that can house heroes strong enough to defeat them."
"There is my daughter. We must place our faith in the Scrolls of Wax. We must contact...the heroes of prophesy!"

"Hostile forces waiting huh? Hopefully not TOO hostile..."

"I am admittedly confused as to why they asked for us specifically. How did they know about us?"

She was, of course, reading up on the information given, already trying to plot out her choice of fighting style. It would need a little of her BG training, since water was not as abundant, but she was sure she would be able to give aid in a pinch.
"That's a good question," Kaya said, looking up from where she was reading. "Are we becoming famous in other worlds?"

[After the Commercial Break, the Action Begins!]
True to the Queen's warning, it is a true battlefield out there. The ship manages to maneuver farther away from the central palace, where the evil Wa'sps are swarming and attacking the B's Giant Palace. Pieces fall off as the thirty or so giant creatures slam themselves in there, the much smaller, humanoid-sized bees no match for the monsters five times their size.
And little do they know that this is just a front line committee. These Wa'sps have been sent to test the B's stronghold. With their low resources with so many months at war, the battle is clearly in their favor. Thankfully, they have the element of surprise. Their ship was not spotted nor were they.
[There is no posting order, but let everyone join in as much as possible]
"They're quite large," she whispered to the others. "They have giant fangs, stingers and..." lasers flew in the sky. "...magic?" No Sofia. Guns.
Wa'sps with guns.
"I estimate around twenty." She couldn't see all of them, after all. "I am unsure how many are inside the building, but it seems to be holding so doubtful there are any more. Let us make a proper battle plan as quickly as possible before engaging combat."

Not that she wasn't sure she could fight, but she'd like to avoid risking her life till necessary.

They'd have to start with a strategy. If it went to hell, they could plan accordingly from there.

She looked up at the giant Wa'sps again and unsheathed her sword into the ground.
"Engaging the enemy here seems the most logical idea. We can have a frontal attack by our strongest and let the others help with strategy and coordination."
no subject
"If I can connect to their minds I might be able to convince them to believe that we're Wa'sps too, or even that we aren't there at all. We could walk right through them if I do it right. Then we won't have risk getting hurt, or waste our energy in case we can't avoid fighting with them later."
She bit her lip. "I've never manipulated a Wa'sp before but it's worth a try."

[Meeting the Queen]
How quiet everyone was. Not only due to the fear from the attack, as soldiers tried to get civilians to stay inside their honeycombs so they'd be in safety, but the fact wherever they passed, they would stop. And stare. And stare until they'd leave, their mouths mostly hanging open as if they were in awe of them. This especially happened with what looked to be the older members of the community more so than the children who were quickly ushered away if they tried to say hi or wave. Not because they were afraid...but out of respect?
They clearly knew something that they didn't.
As they passed the birthing chambers, the same scenario happened, as the bee nurses stopped just enough to bend their heads at them and the guards accompanying them. It was only the sound of the battle outside that got everyone back to working frantically in their posts gain.
Eventually they got to the Queen's chambers where she sat upon a glorious throne. Her back was covered in red and purple silk away from the public's eyes and once in a while, a nurse would pass behind a wall built around it and return with a small basket fulled with pearl white eggs. The amount of respect this queen radiated was almost mind boggling. One could just take a look at her to know why her colony would find to the last B', just for her.
"Greetings," she told them, her voice soft, gentle, caring. Her face, however, was filled with concern. "I am...sorry to have brought you here, great heroes, but we are in need of you. There is much to discuss and so little time."

"Then waste no time. Please, tell us what we can do."

Also taking a subtle head count to ensure they hadn't lost anyone outside. So far so good.

Like Jaime, he remains silent, looking around the room, slightly awed, before looking back to the monarch.
RISE FROM YOUR GRAVE
"My name is Queen B' Daisy Honey the Fourth," she explained. "Heir of the B' Kingdom as my mothers before me. When our kingdom was established in this galaxy, it is said that my ancestors met with an ancient being that told them that one day this kingdom would be close to perishing."
One could easily guess where this was going, at the state of chaos around them.
"The records of its words were kept in the Elder Scrolls of Wax," she explained as a worker arrived with them, being extremely careful as he set them down to their feet. Most of it was written in the language the B's used but the strangest thing was the last words inscribed on each one.
Their names.
"I do not know how they saw or why they knew calling for you at this very time of crisis was important, but the truth is, my kingdom will fall in one day's time, of this continues."
no subject
"Does it..." Another pause, as though he's regretting asking this... "Does it say what we're supposed to do? Other than stop you from being destroyed, I mean."
