[OOC: Bendytimed to shortly after Podpop, before Survivalist ends and before Mother Knows Best begins]Jonas finished typing on his omnicom and published the invitation to the channel, then switched to a new window and resumed fiddling with the program he had been working on. It was an open-ended invitation, but should something come up that needed his undivided attention (like an attack, Brainiac 5 making contact again, or Cassie wanting to do something with him) he could always edit the post with the new information. Some of the people coming in might be surprised to discover that the head of Programming looked as though he had been programmed himself in the past. Jonas had considered giving them a heads up on that subject in the invitation, but had ultimately decided against it. If they could not cope the surprise of a synthetic person, they would likely have problems coping during a fight; and he would like to know that ahead of time so he could place them most effectively. So he sat at his workstation and waited for his first arrival.

Through the City paced a blood elf paladin.
Well. Not paced... more like rampaged. Sword in his hands, the sin'dorei stalked darkly down the more crowded streets fronted by damaged building, walking a good sight faster than a normal constitutional should warrant.
More ominously, his face was a blank mask, but his actions spoke of absolute fury at best. Where a piece of rubble or an abandoned object stood in his way, he hacked at it with his sword until it collapsed into chunks. Where an innocent piece of structure stood out in some way along the crumbled buildings, he paused a second to gather holy energy in his hands, then with a gesture slammed it violently into that object, more often that not causing it to collapse.
In short, the paladin was not happy.

Gods could be too arrogant. Such was the case of SHODAN, who had turned the Pods into a nightmarish zone where she could freely amuse herself and torture those that had come here.
But arrogance breeds pride which breeds mistakes. Instead of killing everyone off, she had decided to do this more slowly – watch them suffer in a slow agony, and, therefore had not expected them to fight back.
It had been a lucky shot, really, one in a million, But one of the people present that day had accidentally shot a tiny, insignificant object. A tiny little drone, that, once it had been the source of the power damper, had fallen. The tables were turned, and the goddess had been forced to retreat from the pods.
Now she was on a panicked mode, not only because some of the other people on the ship had managed to work their way into her system files, using another AI to send pointless images and sounds to her, distracting her from her task, but they knew how they could defeat her and gain their powers back.
It didn't take long for the message to be sent out, as the word quickly spread. Find the tiny little creatures, and shoot them down. SHODAN couldn't work their shields properly and once they were found, it was only a short matter of time before the powers returned to an area.
It would take time, but, finally, the tide of the battle was turning on the side of the crewmen and women. In vain, she was throwing her all; even more strange robot creatures, attacking in packs, but with hope on their side, they could win this...

[This is for Team 2: Jinx, Mindfuck, Zouichi, Ter'thelas, Ashley, Edward, Jamie, Victoria. The first shore leave / observation deck post is here where they can say goodbye to others.] ]The massive crystal spire jutted skyward perhaps a thousand feet. Alone, it would be beautiful. With lasers playing up and down its sides, floodlights sweeping the sky, and banners hanging over it, though, it was just tacky. ULTIMATE ENTERTAINMENT! proclaimed one banner. D☺☺M AWAITS YOU! another added. And over top of the massive doors chipped in the entrance hall flashed a brilliant neon sign: CRYSTAL CITY. The path led up to and through the wide-open doors, into a black hall beyond. No sooner had the last of the crew stepped in than the doors slammed shut behind them, plunging them all into pitch blackness. But not for long; a second later, two bright-white signs flared into life. MEN --> <-- WOM N (A bulb was out.) Each arrow pointed to a door surrounded by an ominous crystal. Try to go through the wrong gender's door and it would reject you, possibly making disparaging comments about your mental status. The rooms inside looked as if they'd been lifted straight from an athletic stadium; a row of lockers stood opposite a few lacquered benches, and each had a crewmember's name on it. Inside their assigned locker were a set of clothing along with instructions to retract their plantsuits to minimal coverage and don the provided garb. The fanservicey-but-functional provided garb. Tight-fitting shirts that breathed magnificently, sleek shorts (rather short shorts) for both men and women. None of it interfered with motion in the slightest, and the outfits were only slightly uncomfortable, mostly because they were just a bit tight. Once everyone had garbed themselves properly -- and not before -- the doors on the far wall snapped open. Through them, the members rejoined their companions in a large room (which of course made no physical sense, as the doors could not possibly have led to this room, but who's counting?), in a grand crystalline foyer filled with sweeping spotlights, glittering sparks deep in the walls, and extremely canned applause. A drumroll began over the applause. A hush fell over the prerecorded crowd, the drumroll building in strength and then declining again, like a wave, to build suspense. The drumroll abruptly stopped. "TURN TAPE OVER!" blared over the invisible audio system. After a moment, fumbled clattering and muffled grumbling echoed distantly from some far point in the chamber, followed by a sharp CLACK, then a click. The drumroll resumed. Then, in a crash of cymbals and a triumphant fanfare, the spotlights all swung as one to focus on a hitherto unseen throne at the far end of the room.

||Attention, Attention. The following crew members must report to the Observation Deck...||
Stacy began to name off sixteen members of the crew, repeating the message until everyone had arrived. When they did, they would find the following information being displayed.
Planet Designation: Unknown. No records of a system existing at this location can be found. All information is based on preliminary scans. Status: Terrestrial, H-class. Non-sentient life: Extensive flora and fauna. Semi-Sentient Life: Unknown. Sentient Life: Obsidian medial castles and crystal cities scattered all around, but no signs of humanoid life detected. Water: 80.8% of the planet's surface. Climate: Similar to Earth's Tropical zones [Click here for cultural equivalents for non-Earth cultures.] Landscape: What little remains of area is deep thick tropical forest with forests and abandoned towns. Air: Non-toxic. Elevated levels of oxygen. Air Pressure: 101.3 kPa (kilopascals) = 14.7 psi (pounds per square inch) Sky: Blue. Sun: A class G V, yellow dwarf star. Warnings: No records of this planet exist. Suggest taking extreme caution while planet-side, as dangers that have not shown up on preliminary scans could exist. Please bring appropriate tools and weapons. Mission: Scout planet's surface and locate the twin signals.
Being sent off into the unknown was part of the risks that being on the ship had brought them. Thankfully they were getting a chance to stock up before heading out.
But just what was waiting out there?
[[Just so you all know, this is bendy time for around the 12th on the meatship, so those who were hurt during the battle should be much, much better. The day had finally arrived for her big event, and Starfire couldn't be happier---or more nervous, actually. She was certainly not an expert on the inner workings of a prom, but it couldn't be too terribly complicated, right? As long as the people could eat, dance, and talk, it should be a reasonable success. With that in mind, her decorations sprung from her mind into the large dome all around her, transforming a grey Sensorium into a beautiful underwater world, one with clear waters and free from the possibility of a shark attack. Now that the crisis concerning the clock and the children were over, she couldn't be more thankful. The gurgling roar that filled her mind had died down to a more manageable but similarly annoying simmer that continued to give her plenty of reason to be eternally displeased. Still, if she planned to be anything more than a lethargic shut-in, it would require her to brave the 'babbleroar'.
Mulling over her choices for some time, she eventually decided on Hydroponics and made her way there. With the minimal amount of time she'd actually spent on Earth after joining with the Superhomeys, most of her encounters with the natural world were only conjured up from the depths of her memories.
She began walking through the wide expanse of shrubs, trees and other vegetation, intent on both relaxing and rebuilding her mental imaging of how forests and jungles were actually supposed to appear.

The paladin stood before the unshielded windows of the obs deck, arms crossed. Outside, the enigmatic Bleed passed by as the ship pushed through it.
He stood for long minutes, unmoving, watching the mysterious space pass by. The closest to absolute solid proof he could have that Azeroth was destroyed, and that he and a few other people were the only ones left alive and awake from that world.
Though he still wore his armor and carried his weapons, they were, for now, useless. No fear of a Scourge uprising, a kobold demanding he no take candle, or even an Alliance raid eager to right years of perceived injustice in Hillsbrad. Just a bunch of people on a ship.
"It's all right," he said, finally, "but I liked the Twisting Nether better."
