Shop 'Till You Drop! [SO VERY OPEN]
It was nice to be out on solid ground, to breathe fresh and salt-tinged air, and to feel the real warmth of the sun on her neck and shoulders, Nanoha thought. She felt a very deep urge welling up within her breast to just take flight, to soar through an actual sky in the first time in months - and she had no doubt that she would.
But there were other things she had to take care of first. Like, for instance, swimsuit shopping with her best friend.
"Ooh, this store looks like it might have some cute ones!" Nanoha tugged on Fate's hand, pulling her towards one of the storefronts that lined this street of the bustling shopping district. Even if it didn't, there were still plenty of others to try, and plenty of cute outfits to convince Fate to try on.
(ooc: It might help to have just one thread for ALL YOUR SHOPPING NEEDS? Feel free to tag in and mingle, if you're shopping for clothes, groceries, games, whatever!)

Ye Olde Music Shoppe (Only, you know, not actually spelled that way)
But that could wait until he made the big purchase. Because he wanted to be absolutely certain he had the money for something major. Something he hadn't been able to find in W&P for whatever reason.
He wanted a guitar. Everything else could wait. Which was why he'd tracked down the music shop, stopping in the doorway to just stare at all the instruments on the wall. Blimey, he muttered.

She almost bumped into Jono because of her focus toward the stringed instruments.
"Oh, excuse me." She then eyed the wall, "Wow... nice selection."

For people who want to head to a clothing store...
So, he found himself at a nice little clothing store, looking around for some outfits that he thought would serve his needs.

She wandered into the same clothing store Tsukasa was in, and started rummaging around, starting in the women's section, but then moving over to the men's section. Maybe she could find something nice for Lelouch...

"Afternoon, miss." This cannot bode well for Tsukasa Kadoya.

With a light touch on the speeder's yoke, he turned in front of one of the stores they'd been given in their directory of the planet and shut off.
"Okay," he said to Mara and Ben. "We're gonna get the things on this list and take it back to Stacy and the Shadow, then we're free to do anything else." He pointed at Ben. "If you find that snack you used to like, we are not getting more than two packages."

Clothes Shopping
For now, she was off on her own, and was planning to look well.
Re: Clothes Shopping
Nura seems to have the same idea in mind. She's already visited her first store and has bought herself a pair of nice Ray-Bans, black, and located a hair-tye of some sort to put her long, luxurious white locks up in a high ponytail that swings when she sways and brushes time from time against the back of her neck.
Her quest? Clothes that don't seem to have a heartbeat. And while can't locate any futuristic stores (it seems that it is 21st century in retrospective) it will have to do.
When she passes by people she assumes are from the ship (the plantsuit is a dead give away) she nods her head with a bright smile, then moves along. And as she moves along, her eyes catch the sight of something lovely in a window...and she doesn't watch where she's going...so...
"Ooof!"
Whoever she has bumped into, she sorry!

Glancing up from the outfit, he cranes his head to get a better look - just to make sure he's not mistaken. He's fairly sure he's not, however, and a small smile appears briefly. He'll take the risk and call out anyway. "Katara!"

When she thinks she's found the perfect second top, she turns around to show her shopping-companion. "What do you think?"

Fashion advice sorely needed...
He was going through racks, looking for something to go with a shirt he'd picked out. A shirt that he thought was light gray. He'd found a vest he thought would go nicely, a lovely rich dark purple. Of course, he didn't realize the shirt he was holding was an ungodly shade of banana yellow.
He was going to need help if he was going to leave this store with any dignity still intact.
Re: Fashion advice sorely needed...
...Really, that color was just ghastly.

miniskirtsclothing carefully folded within. She was excited; new clothes made her happy, as well as the smart decision to search for some of the clothes on her own. It meant that she'd be able to look for Steve's present without worrying about him interrupting. At least, that was the plan.Currently, she was peering at a selection of helmets, chewing her lip in thought.

"Hey!" he said as he popped up behind Miku, grinning. "Are you looking for your own helmet?"

She had only been awake on this ship for a week or so, but Sylia was already thoroughly sick of the plantsuits. She could hardly imagine the torment that the rest of the crew had gone through with possible months without real clothes.
So in addition to plenty of outfits for herself, slung over her elbow in a great pile, she was busily picking through some silky fabrics in various colors as well as small sewing apparatuses. She had plans for her fellow crew members. Oh yes she did.

Tailmon sighed. "Why do you want clothes? You're plantsuit should work fine..."
Hikari shook her said. "Says the talking cat who doesn't wear any."
"I just think we have more important things to worry about. Like actual food."
Hikari just ignored that and walked deeper into the store... before seeing a familiar face. "Oh, Sylia. Hi!"

"I want food and I want a hairbrush and I want a nice pair of leather pants and I --- ooooooh."
Choline had stopped flat-footed in front of a swimwear store. She wasn't even certain if the suits therein were even possible to swim in, but that wasn't the point.

"You should try some on," he told her as he approached. "I bet you'd look good in them."
