Shop 'Till You Drop! [SO VERY OPEN]

It was nice to be out on solid ground, to breathe fresh and salt-tinged air, and to feel the real warmth of the sun on her neck and shoulders, Nanoha thought. She felt a very deep urge welling up within her breast to just take flight, to soar through an actual sky in the first time in months - and she had no doubt that she would.

But there were other things she had to take care of first. Like, for instance, swimsuit shopping with her best friend.

"Ooh, this store looks like it might have some cute ones!" Nanoha tugged on Fate's hand, pulling her towards one of the storefronts that lined this street of the bustling shopping district. Even if it didn't, there were still plenty of others to try, and plenty of cute outfits to convince Fate to try on.

"You're right, they do look cute. Let's go inside!" Fate said as she allowed Nanoha to drag her along, smiling at the other girl's excitement. Sure, she had a bad feeling Nanoha was going to take advantage of this shopping trip to get her into something embarrassing... but she didn't really care that much.

Oh, not yet, Fate. Not... yet. Nanoha let go of Fate's hand to inspect the suits on the walls and hanging on the racks. She reached out to pick up a sky-blue one, holding it up in front of her and turning to Fate. "Hmm. What do you think about this one, Fate-chan?"

Fate turned away from the swimsuits she had been looking at to examine the one Nanoha picked out, head tilting to the side a little as she thought.

"I think it looks nice. It suit you."

"I think so too! ...but we don't want to just decide so early, right? There are still so many we haven't seen yet!"

Don't look now, Fate, but there's a small little black one hanging right beside your head. And Nanoha's looking right at it right now. "Oh! How about that one for you?"

Fate's cheeks colored a little as she picked up the one Nanoha had pointed out. Sure, she didn't mind wearing bikinis... but there's a limit to how small they should be.

"Um... I'm not sure..."

"Aw, c'mon, you'll look great in it!" She's already plucked it off of the rack, and is now taking it - and Fate - in the direction of the changing rooms. "Let's go try it on!"

"H-Huh!? But--"

Fate attempted to stop Nanoha from dragging her towards the changing rooms, but of course, it was a futile fight. Why you gotta be so cruel, Nanoha?

Absolutely futile. And wanting you to look ~~sexy~~ cute is hardly cruel, Fate.

Nanoha stopped outside of the changing rooms, holding the suit out to the other girl and looking at her expectantly. You aren't going to have to make her come in there with you, are you Fate?

"... Geez..."

With a sigh of defeat, Fate reluctantly took the swimsuit from the other girl and entered one of the changing rooms. She took her time changing, and her face became redder and redder as she did.

She may or may not be stalling, now. Man, this thing is smaller than it looks.

A knock on the door. "Fate-chan? You don't need me to help you into that, do you?"

Yes, she's teasing you, Fate.

"No! N-No, I'm ready..."

As Fate opened the door, Nanoha might notice that the blonde's face more or less resembles a tomato by now. That is, if she's not too busy noticing that the bathing suit she picked out is barely covering anything at all.

Nanoha took one very long, appreciative stare at Fate before her expression took on a sheepish tone. "W-wow, I didn't think it'd be that small," she chuckled.

But then she brightened. "But you look great in it! Any boy who saw you in this might have a heart attack~"

Also, Fate, she's holding like five or six more that she collected while you were changing.

"W-Well that's a good reason not to get this one..." If it was possible, Fate turned even redder as Nanoha stared at her. Also, she totally noticed the other bathing suits Nanoha is holding, and has more or less resigned herself to further embarrassment.

"Which one do you want me to try on next?"

Nanoha reached out to ~~cup one of Fate's breasts~~ squeeze the other girl's arm as she handed her the six. "Why don't you surprise me, Fate-chan?"

"Okay!" Fate eagerly took the other suits, glad to finally be able to change out of the one she was currently in, and headed back into the changing rooms.

One of the other swimsuits was remarkably like the one that had appeared on her during the last party in the Sensoriums; all black, except for two yellow stripes running down the sides of both the top and bottom. It was a nice design, so she chose to change into that one next, and opened the door after a few minutes.

"This one's much better, don't you think?"

"I don't know about better," Nanoha teased, "But it looks great on you! Do you think you want this one?"

"Yeah, I think I will." Fate said. Yes, she was ignoring that first bit, Nanoha. "What about you? Have you picked anything out yet?"

"Hm. I was thinking about this one - what do you think?"

Geez, you make Fate try on an embarrassing bikini and you're not even trying anything on? No fair, Nanoha.

"Oooh, I like that one. Much better than the first one you picked out."

All's fair in love and swimwear, Fate. "I really like the colors on it - I think it'd be cute!"

"And it's fitting, don't you think?" Fate said, giggling a little. "The colors almost match your Barrier Jacket."

"It needs a bit more red and it'd be perfect," Nanoha agreed with a smile.

"...I should probably try it on first though, don't you think?"

"That would probably be a good idea." Fate stepped aside, motioning towards the changing room she just stepped out of.

Nanoha beamed at Fate before she slipped past the other girl to enter the dressing room, closing the door behind her.

Fate probably wouldn't want to join her, anyway.

Of course she won't. Unlike some other people, she doesn't like terribly embarrassing her friends. So she'll just wait outside as Nanoha changes.
