Manly Guys Doing Manly Things [closed]
It was a frigid cold even Hiccup wasn't used to when he entered the Sensorium where he was due to meet Sokka. The scene was set at what was clearly a vast land completely covered in snow and ice. The sun was bright, reflecting off it in a way that was slightly hard on the eyes. Even though the breeze was only slight, it crept in through the gaps in the very threads of his clothes, quickly chilling his body.
"Whoa. And I thought Berk winters were bad."
In only the brief moments it took for Hiccup to imagine up climate-appropriate furs, his teeth were already chattering. Fortunately, the warm clothes quickly made a dent on the cold.

"Winter? This is summer." He grinned, nodding upwards. "The sun is out!" He was dressed appropriately in very cozy clothing that would be more than enough to keep out any of the chill. He once again sifted through the spears in the bottom of the boat, testing each point.
"Ready to go spear some fish?"

He points across the ice.
"I mean, we say we live at the South Pole but technically we're not quite that far south. Not many people go there, there's no animals or anything to eat when you get away from the ocean, so you have to pack your own food and it's really not worth it."

"It’s so cold but I don’t caaaree!" She yelled out, rolling past Hiccup and Sokka wrapped in both her hair and coated with snow. She eventually came to a stop and sprawled her arms out to begin making a snow angel.

"I give it ten seconds before the cold sets in."
no subject
"Five."

"O-okay... m-maybe i-it's just a l-little c-c-chilly..."
no subject
"And boots. Definitely some boots."

"Weird. Literal mind over matter. Well, imaginary matter."

So now she had blankets. A few of them. "Does this work?" She asked, wrapping them tightly around herself while the thought of being warm removed the feeling of biting cold.

Especially if her first thought wasn't furs.

"But yeah. You from somewhere it doesn't get like this?" His first thought was the Fire Nation. But they didn't have anyone with hair quite that rather radiant golden shade there, did they?

She paused, suddenly aware that she did sort of intrude on someone else's time in this place. "Oops..." She mumbled, flashing a sheepish grin while curling the blankets tighter around herself. "I guess I got a little ahead of myself. Were you guys doing something important here?"

His eyebrows rose as he looked to Sokka.
"But it could conceivably be girl stuff too, right?" he said amenably as he looked sidelong at Sokka.
Could she come?

But that had been before his sister had become a Waterbending master befor he had met Suki, Yue, Toph. . .
So he just smiled and gave a nod.
"Sure, I mean, if you want. You'll need something to wear that's not blankets, though."
no subject
"Well, I don't want to intrude if it's really just for 'guys'."

Hiccup looked thoughtfully at the boat and consideringly at Rapunzel's considerably large amount of hair.
"Although, we're going to need a bigger boat."
Fortunately, the Sensorium was very accomodating and the boat grew large enough to allow Rapunzel to pile all her hair on board.
"I should introduce you guys. Sokka, this is Rapunzel. Rapunzal, Sokka."
no subject
"Good to meet you, Rapunzel." He tried not to stare at the massive mane of hair that trailed her. That was. . .interesting.
"And like Hiccup said, some company is always great!"

"So! What are we doing first?"

"Then we'll get into the technical stuff."

"Done!"

He'd never been spear-fishing before, but he could figure out the general idea.
