Denial? Just a little bit.
Who: Kaya, open to all.
Where: Sensoriums
Summary: Ed not remembering her is sort of the last straw, so she's getting her aggressions out.
Warnings: Um. Are there any? TBA, I guess?
But so much for that now. Right now Kaya, who had had a pretty bad last few months, found the last straw was bringing Ed back and having him not even recognizer her had been the last straw. Now she was just standing here, around a background of water and streams, and she was moving in a combination.
First there was her own bending. Smooth, flowing each movement into the other, legs supporting the base as arms and shoulders tensed and drew forward, calling the water up and around her, making waves into developed whips, turning that into solid substances and back again.
And then, when the Bene Gesserit came into play, that slowed but accurate action became quick, deliberate fast. Her body become a putty oin increments as she geared for offensive kicks and movement, pushing her body to the limits here. There was no turning back, no moment of reflection.
At this moment, Kaya wondered what would become of her training, if they would form a base of strength and bending even she didn't fully understand yet. She would put aside those feelings of helplessness, of pain she could not do more.

If it had been Ronnae or Nehaalista, he might have just shot an arrow at them, thereby initiating a sparring session. Luckily, he'd thought it over and it kind of seemed like a bad idea at this moment, given everything that had come to pass. If she didn't notice him in time, she'd have an arrow lodged in her side and he'd get scolded by Billy. Oh well. Such was life.
But...there'd be nothing wrong if he purposely missed the first shot to give her a head's up...right? Right!
With a plan in mind Nokosi slid his bow from his back, plucked an arrow from his quiver and notched it, then let the thin projectile fly towards its destination: a noticeable miss of her foot.

That aside, she was smiling. After the day she'd had, here was something to look forward to. She broke off with a burst of speed, found the offending Night elf and launched herself high in the air before coming down on him in a rough tackle.

Nokosi had just enough time to pitch his bow to the side before Kaya landed on him and the two went tumbling to the ground. Though he lay sprawled on the ground, he made no motion to move.
"Ishnu-ala, Kaya!" the elf greeted with a smile.
Ishnu-ala?
"Where have you been? I've missed you!" And yes, you get a long, happy kiss.
Elven greeting. "Good fortune to you," basically.
"He has been most distraught, but...today is a good day, I think."
Re: Elven greeting. "Good fortune to you," basically.
She's hanging onto your hip, Nokosi. It seemed she missed you.

"Nehaalista," he breathed, and raised a hand to tug at one of the coils of hair that framed her face until it was loosened from its bond.
Nokosi examined the bit of hair like it was the first time he'd seen it, or something like it. Rubbing the strands between his fingers, he tested the texture and nodded to himself as if he'd discovered something profound.
"She was sent back."

What could she say? She was actually really happy to see him.

But the Sensorium was occupied, and by a familiar figure. She waited for the soaring water-clouds to move out from between them, and then just waved.
"Kaya, hello! It's Anwei! I'm back!"
no subject
"Amwei! It's so good to see you again!" Yes, you can't escape her hugs! "Are you well?"
no subject
She would miss Sam. She got along very well with vampires, apparently.

She choked up a little here, then cleared her throat. "But I'm glad you're back. The ship could use more familiar faces."

"I'm so sorry. They'll be missed. I'm sorry I wasn't here to help when I might have been able to ... Were there many injuries during the attack by SHODAN?" There must have been.
no subject
"The injuries weren't so bad. At least we helped each other out. The worst was when the sleeping pods were attacked. Some people were lost. Zhin, my companion, was killed at the hands of those robots."

As fate would have it she stepped through the door directly into a stream. With a shriek like it was acid she scrambled for the land splashing everywhere. It wasn't a deep stream but her hydrophobia kicked in hard an left her wild eye'd and panting in the grass glaring at the water like it had tried to kill her on purpose.
So much for calm.

In some ways, it was like the inbetween of firebending and waterbending: dangerous but calculated, offensive but defensive at first glance, a smooth flow with a hidden current, which was why she had taken to the training of her body so quickly. Joints moved in superhuman ways, sweat poured off her but still she maintained perfect balance, waiting for the intruder in the Sensorium to show themselves.
no subject
It was impressive, but nothing that Azula hadn't once also been capable of with her fire bending.

It was the desert area, the middle of nowhere where the fremen toiled and went about their day. The background had the Sietch, and Kaya was lost in its pull, moving her body again, feeeling the sweat pouring from her as she danced her dangerous dance, as she pulled from her hips and back again, as she rolled and twisted and pulled and pushed again, now incorporating the dance of the Bene Gesserit to her bending, resulting in movement one had to strain their eyes to see.

With the enviroment changing to something she was more comfortable with Azula sat up to continue watching. What had driven Kaya to this state? Had she lost someone else? It seemed that misfortune seemed more determined to torture Kaya even more then the disposed princess on Stacy.

She flipped into a hand stand, propped by nothing, keeping her whole body completely straight, level, rigid. She inhaled, exhaled, allowing the serenity of this place, even with the lack of water, to soothe her, quiet her inside.
Even in this position, Kaya was meditating.
