'Meat' 'n Greet
The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their numbers. After the revelation that their worlds are gone, many of them are even more eager to see people they knew from home.
Several people are set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings. New crew-mates might see a green-skinned alien and snake girl among their number. There are also several authoritative-looking figures ready to introduce themselves.
There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.
[ooc: Only new characters and Command Staff can start new threads for introductions, to limit the number of threads. Everyone else, just tag in and have your guys greet the newbies.]

He pulled one cigarette out and lit it. He was ready to save the world. Again.
Now, time to meet the rest of the crew.

She liked it already.
"Those things will kill you," Alessa said, grinning. "But feel like you might know a thing or two about that already."
Alessa was observant: there were humans, zombies, demons....and then there were things that just were WEIRD. Spike was in that category.

He took another drag and raised an eyebrow at the girl. "What sort of demon are you?"
no subject
She thought a moment. "I suppose you could say 'vengeance for children' demon. I tend to unnerve people because of my appearance."
She sounded quite proud of that fact.

The only option he really had was what he did now. Wags walked up, shifted to Crinos, pulled out his bat, and spoke, letting Stacy translate the Garou language instead of speaking his approximation of English.
"Okay, here's the deal. If you drink anybody's blood, I will beat the crap out of you with this, shove a stake in your heart, cut off your head, and then punt it out the airlock. Comprende?"
no subject
But that didn't matter. It also didn't matter that once the stake went through Spike's heart, he'd be dust and the rest of the threat was pretty much meaningless. What mattered was that this dog thought he could threaten Spike. The Big Bad himself. Who did he think he was dealing with?
Spike just raised an eyebrow and took another drag of his cigarette.
"Sorry, Rover, I've got a better deal. You don't make threats you can't carry out, and I don't kill you."

Tony pushed his way through the crowd towards the other werewolf. Whenever someone goes to Crinos, he knew Something Bad was about to happen. He elbowed his way in between Wags and Spike, tossing an annoyed glare up at the other werewolf.
"The Hell is going on here, man?"

But he followed the throng into the Obs Deck, when he was suddenly assaulted by a familiar feeling and scent of age and power. He glanced around, but he found the source quickly. He had to be another vampire. He really tried not to stare, but he was drawn to him, an island of familiarity among all of this. He likely rather looked like a blushing violet at a school dance working up the courage to ask out that cool upperclassman, but he wasn't really mindful of that at the time.
The cigarette smoke turned his nose up, but he tried to ignore it for now. He now wracked his mind thinking of how best to introduce himself to someone like this.

He didn't look like much more of a threat than Harmony, but that didn't mean Spike would hesitate to stake him if he threatened the people around here.

"Oh. Sorry. I thought ye were...never mind." He turns to go, then considers something and stops. "Hey, ye havena seen a man about my height with dark hair and a coat a bit like yours, have ye? Maybe playing a wee recorder?"

After all, Spike seems remarkably composed for being recently pod-popped, and could have noticed something.
"Anyone bother to fill ye in yet?"

She bumped into someone, and turned promptly to apologize to the man and his...cigarette. "If you're new, you're probably one of the most relaxed people I've seen on this boat already."
no subject
"Anyway, it's not like this'll be the first time someone wants me to save the world. What am I supposed to do, panic? Not bloody likely."
no subject
She'd heard plenty of Save the World stories from a good number of other crew members already, so his response didn't phase her either. (Really, it was getting harder and harder to surprise people on Stacy...) "Well, 'M glad of it. Saves the command staff some trouble. They've already got enough of it on their hands."
