'Meat' 'n Greet
The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their numbers. After the revelation that their worlds are gone, many of them are even more eager to see people they knew from home.
Several people are set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings. New crew-mates might see a green-skinned alien and snake girl among their number. There are also several authoritative-looking figures ready to introduce themselves.
There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.
[ooc: Only new characters and Command Staff can start new threads for introductions, to limit the number of threads. Everyone else, just tag in and have your guys greet the newbies.]

"Those things will kill you," Alessa said, grinning. "But feel like you might know a thing or two about that already."
Alessa was observant: there were humans, zombies, demons....and then there were things that just were WEIRD. Spike was in that category.

He took another drag and raised an eyebrow at the girl. "What sort of demon are you?"

She thought a moment. "I suppose you could say 'vengeance for children' demon. I tend to unnerve people because of my appearance."
She sounded quite proud of that fact.

He could see how her appearance would be unnerving, but Spike had seen a lot of ugly in his day. It took more than a creepy child to scare him.
"I'm a vampire," he added.

She smiled a little. "I take it you know of her?"

She looked at him. "I trust people on the ship have been reasonably polite?"

He shrugged. "Yeah, I guess." Nothing he couldn't handle.

Here though, she have him an impish smile. "What an entourage for a Slayer though: her own vampire lackey. The world has changed indeed."

He glared at her. "I'm no lackey. We're friends is all." It was a hell of a lot more complicated than that, but that wasn't her business.

She shrugged. "I can't see any reason why a prey and predator would be getting along unless they were forced to on the ship. Unless of course, you were romantically involved like humans are wont to do. But that sort of thing is impossible, isn't it?"
