Is Your Love Strong Enough? Part 2 - Personal Interwoven Soulcatchers
Following you awakening and talking with a few of the members through the communication systems by way of the three kind people who had awakened her, Nezaitben realized how the crew was stuck in a terrible mess.
So many of them felt sad and depressed. Considering the entire ship, it wasn't too hard to see why. The next day, there had been an unusual amount of magical flowers spreading all over the ship. Nothing that damaged the controls (she might be naive in the way humanoids were, but Nezaitben was no fool either) but they were found in the most unexpected of places. Her own awakening area was now blooming in a flower paradise, the wooden palace standing proudly on top, the smell and pink cherry blossom strong enough to carry through most of the central city area where most people resided.
Yet the ship was still sad.
This would not do.
That night, or what passed as a night for in the ship, Nezaitben took to the 'sky', letting pieces of her own essence fall on top of the sleeping populace, or those that were not sleeping finding themselves feeling the need too. Enveloping the ship into a peaceful slumber, she searched their dreams. The powers granted to her by the pantheon of gods in her homeworld allowed Nezaitben to weave a series of dreamcatchers giving her the ability to see those whose hearts connected true.
These noble souls would do. Lead by example had always been her philosophy. She would give them a great gift - communication with each other in a single body, allowing them to share everything together. Their two soulcatchers were woven together that night into a single, grand ones, hanging in the garden's trees.
A few minutes later, the empty husks of the bodies that weren't being used showed up at her palace. With a smile, she welcomed them like her own children and began to dress them for their task.
That morning, some of the crewmen would wake up to a strange surprise...and that would just be the beginning of a long, strange misunderstanding and young gods trying too much to please everyone.
[OOC - Just a few rules. Keep in mind the listed rules. You can all start your own threads of waking up in the bodies of others. Lash and Zetta
She'd sleep on worse in her days as a CO officer.
The night passed on by quickly. She had no dreams (which was...odd since she tended to remember them rather clearly) and woke up feeling pretty refreshed the next morning...just unsure where she was at first.
"Oh yeah," she said to no one. She look down to the ship's floor far, far below. "Now I remember."

Ruffnut and Mindy
Waking up now she stretched and yawned feeling a little cold. "Good nap." She mumbled and glanced around locating a nearby fireplace. A burst of lightning set it alight and began to feel the room with a warm glow and dancing shadows. Her eyes wandered back to the sofa. "I like that sofa." and then louder to the spirits she knew would be watching her. "Hey guys, don't mess with this one." She pointed at the object hoping the spirits would favor her. They often liked to employ the furniture in their little pranks against her. Last week they'd stacked up a pile of chairs ontop of her while she slept and she had to find a way out.
Little did she know as she warmed herself by the fire someone else was feeling the heat and seeing the merry crackling orange flames.
Re: Ruffnut and Mindy
When she woke up though, she had felt pretty groggy. She figured that was to blame for why she suddenly felt off, and then she realized she got up frm the sofa.
What? Hadn't she been on the bed before? Well, she guessed she'd go warm herself by the fire...
..that she set alight.
"Wait a minute, what?" She exclaimed aloud, and realized her voice sounded different: gruffer and her head wasn't groggy at all: she had on a helmet.
"Is this some trick you guys are playing?" She said aloud, but there was no denying it: it was RUFFNUT'S voice.

Morgan and Sumeragi
But he hadn't, and that was probably for the best. Although he was a little sore from having crashed out under some alien tree, he was fully-clothed.
And frowning as he got to his feet. The Akashic was highly in-tune with his body, mind, and general place in the universe. Something seemed off this morning.

"What-" She cut off abruptly. That wasn't her voice. It sounded almost like.... Morgan?

Sasami and Negi, also Open to those living in the Masaki home
Awakening the next morning, Sasami ended up hopping out of bed, and, getting the sleep out of her, prepared to get ready. However, looking at the mirror, she was greeted with not one familiar face, but two.
The panicked scream could be heard throughout the house.

Call it a woman's intuition if you will, but Victoria feels like something is very wrong.
"Jamie?" she calls out. Did he come home yesterday, I can't quite seem to remember if he did. The sleep did knock me quite out...

"Hey?" comes out of Victoria's mouth, quite unexpectedly. "What are you on about?" Och, she must not have seen me come in. Funny, I don't remember coming back here, though...

Vala and Daniel
Which was made even more odd by the fact she was lying asleep underneath some kind of ship on the hard concrete floor of the...
Her eyes shot open fully, blinking as she battled her sleepy disorientation. Was she in the hangar still? The coloured wires dangling above her face from the opened panel told her she was. The previous evening came surging back, she'd been... well never mind what she'd been doing, it was hardly important right now. Besides she'd only been sussing out the tech, there hadn't been any immediate plans to re-route the security circuits. Vala hastily closed the panel back up and shunted herself out from underneath the ship.
She did remember the sudden urge to sleep last night however, despite every other of her urges telling her to move away from her potentially incriminating location. Looks like the sleeping urge had won.
no subject
There was waking up, refreshed, and there was waking up in degrees, feeling no more rested than when he first went to sleep. It probably had to do with sleeping in a chair, he thought. Funny, his neck wasn't killing him. He'd only just noticed the flowers beginning a slow invasion of his lab when the sudden urge to sleep took him. The last thing he remembered was that maybe it was a good idea to start feeling worried. Then he was out before he even had time to make good on the idea.
Danie's eyes were open before he remembered even doing so. That was... weird. That was also putting it very, very lightly. He also wasn't in a chair, nor was this his lab. Daniel looked around with a frown. Come to think of it, this looked a lot like the very hanger bay the Doctor's TARDIS was in...
Did I sleep walk or something? he suddenly wondered, a sliver of unease going down his neck. It wasn't something he did. If he had done so here though,, why did no one stop him? And how did he manage to get all the way down here without killing himself in the process.

[Crichton and Mal]
Apparently his body had other ideas.
He woke up face down in a puddle of I don't even want to know what the frell that is, coughing and snorting as he tried to flounder his way back to dry land (Or as dry as you could get on this damn ship) before he drowned in two inches of water that smelled depressingly like piss no matter how you looked at it. He splashed his way across a bunch of wilted, soggy flower pedals. Still smelled like piss. While he could say he'd gotten used to way, way, way more than any human should, shoving his head into anything smelling like that was where he drew the line. He crawled his way out of the puddle, his eyes stinging and smelling an awful lot like the stairwell in a parking lot did.
"God!" John pawed at his face, wiping water from his eyes as he coughed and sniffled. The pressure in his head felt excruciating, like maybe --
He didn't know it, but he was about to find out why in two microts.
Re: [Crichton and Mal]
Apparently his body had other ideas.
He woke up face down in a puddle of I don't even want to know what this gorram F'n Zse is, trying to cough and-
Wait-
The first sign of things being very very wrong was when Mal went to try and cough, and...it was as if for an instant he'd been utterly paralyzed, his mind completely detached from his body. Yes, he felt his body move in the action he wanted it to, felt himself cough, felt his body begin to crawl free of whatever excretion Stacy had coated herself in this time, but all of it felt wrong, as if it was happening to someone else. Even his voice sounded wrong, utterly unlike how he had ever sounded in his life.
Finally, though, he seemed to break through whatever wall there was, at least long enough to say, "Go Hwong Tong! What the hell is it this time?"

Azula and Nima
Then the noise settled in at a dull roar.
Don't open your eyes or you'll see them.
She's just waiting to drown you.
They know exactly where you are.
Are you going to keep running forever?
Pathetic failure.
Weak.
Not a threat.
She opened her eyes and after satisfying herself the room was indeed empty, she let out a sad sigh. Another day of living on the run like some common criminal. Gone were the days of sleeping till she liked it, being woken gently by timid servants and offered the finest of treats in bed.
Now she made her nests in dark abandoned buildings, in small rooms with no windows and only one entrance. A pile of blankets surrounded her and were tangled around her limbs. A bag with all of her possessions in it sat near the door. In theory the noise of the bag being dragged on the floor would alert her if someone tried to sneak in and kill her.
Maybe I'll just stay here today. She thought to herself but instantly rejected that idea. A moving target is harder to hit. Don't give in so easily "princess" the last part was sarcastic as she seethed gently at her loss of status.
no subject
Which is fortunate, because the situation she has found herself waking up in - in a body that, when she does not move it, moves on its own, and is obviously not hers, surrounded by thoughts that are disharmonious to say the least - requires some quiet observation.
What is this fire inside me, where air should be? is the first thought she produces, when she has finished observing the body and thoughts in which she has suddenly found her consciousness.
She uses's the body's mouth to say, "My friend. No one is going to drown you."
Her calm intonations sound strange in this alien girl's voice.

Devlin and Hikari
It was going to take him a while to realize just what had happened.
Re: Devlin and Hikari
So there she went, getting up out of her bed and heading over to where her plantsuit was resting, just near the mirror that the WITCH bus had given her.
Hikari looked over into the mirror for a few moments, sighing as she realized that her eyes looked a bit bloodshot. Maybe she hadn't gotten enough sleep. That'd definitely make sense considering how odd her head felt right now.
Still standing in front of the mirror, Hikari pulled off her nightgown, leaving her in nothing but her underwear.

[Elisa and Goliath]
(Besides, even this city needed someone to take the night shift.)
Or she had kept to her old sleep patterns, anyway. Despite her best efforts to stay awake, she'd been unable to fight against Nezaitben's soporific spell for long. She managed to make it to her room in the castle - stumbling through the carpet of flowers that covered the grounds - and collapsed on to the bed, falling into a deep sleep until the first rays of the false sunlight began to creep through her window.
With a low groan, Elisa raised a hand to shade her eyes before sitting up and stretching.
"What happened?"
She asked the rhetorical question aloud as she brushed her hair out of her face, unaware that there was someone nearby to answer.
no subject
That is not my voice, this is not where I went to sleep, this is not the time I awaken. This is not my body. Can she hear me? Something is not right. What sorcery is this?
Outside her control, someone was making her very agitated.

River and Eleven
That's when she noticed something was awry.
"Doctor? What on earth....?"
Re: River and Eleven
Yes, River. Your other hand is already primping your hair. Giving it a test primp, if you will.
By then the Doctor notices something's a bit...odd. Ridiculously interesting odd, not maybe-I-better-put-that-back-odd. Last he checked, he hadn't run into anything dangerous and needed to regenerate and so tht doesn't quite explain all that fab hair, now does it? In fact, he distinctively remembers wading his way across the muddy stream between the Wardrobe and his study, intending to bail out whatever water is in there before the rug goes. Distinct lack of water here. Or even muddy footprints. There's a feeling of someone in there with him, a sensation of a voice and a purr and that little smile of hers --
River?
That would explain the hair. It doesn't, however, explain what he's doing in River Song's body.

Except for all the damn itching. Something wasn't...quite...right. But what? There was some weird prickly feeling at the back of her neck.
With a grunt, the pyromancer gave herself a good scratch. Nope. That wasn't it.

And he also was most definitely not where he'd been before.
"What--" Tim choked out faintly at the feeling of something being wrong-- and a hard scratching feeling. Blearily, he tried to blink himself back into focus and-- why wasn't he wearing his cowl?

Chell and Wheaties
There was just something nice about falling asleep with the moon above and waking up to the sun rising in the East, even if tonight's shelter was a bit of a ramshackle. Though house hunting had been a bit of a bust so far, it was still better than camping in the hangar.
She yawned, stretched and stood, raising her arms above her head and pulling her hair into its tie. Certainly nothing out of the ordinary would happen today. Right? RIGHT!?

Though something was pinging as off with his hunter instincts, and he's not sure why.

This particular waking up felt wrong, however. Her bunk didn't feel right, nor did her body, and it took some rolling to figure out why.
She knew this bed. She knew the room. But why--and how--was she in the Winchester's house, and, more specifically, how exactly had she gotten to Dean's bed...
"Dean?" Her voice sounded wrong. Kaylee put a hand up to her throat to rub it, and--
Oh God.

Marco & Sakura
Yet there were a few exceptions, as there almost always were to any given standard rule. Or she liked to believe she'd remember this particularly strange dream on waking, partly due to the extra vivid nature of the set-up.
As with many dreams, Sakura couldn't figure out how she'd ended up running around in the city, let alone on four paws. She paused to look down at her feet, canting her head to the side and sliding one leg out. A paw. She'd never recalled dreaming herself into an animal form, let alone a dog, but if she didn't think too hard on it, it made sense.
Sort of. She wasn't much of an any given animal person, yet dogs were generally easier patients to work with, and fairly appreciative. Her own tail started wagging as she thought about some of the face-licks and bowling-overs she'd gotten when the Inuzuka asked for a little extra help in keeping up with the health of their dogs.
Particularly their welping bitches, who might have had better general health care than the civilian population saw for their own pregnant women.
So it goes.
Resuming her trot, Sakura let the sensations overwhelm her, scents (and a few sounds) rushing in and invading, carried on a happy well-being emotion that was hard to particularly deny. Exuberance and delight and the far more intense variety of happy-go-lucky she never indulged kept her tail wagging and her tongue lolling as she followed a particularly entrancing smell that had more layers to it than she thought strictly possible.
Weird dream, but very relaxing in a happy, engrossing sense. Feeling whimsical, she let the faux-instincts of her dog self guide her through a winding alley and into a ramshackle shack of dubious alien origin. Is this where that scent had come from?
She nosed around, trying to uncover it. It was... It was... it was like something amazing! She knew it! She'd be so happy to find it! It was so exciting just looking now! Maybe it'd make Tsunade happy, too!
Re: Marco & Sakura
There was someone else controlling his body.
And for Marco, that could only ever mean one thing - Yeerk. Inside his mind, Marco screamed, bombarding Sakura with terror and panic. He didn't even register what it was that he was screaming, his terrified ranting coming across more like a mess of half-sensical messages of no and get out.
Everything he knew told him that it was futile, but Marco still tried to frantically wrestle back control of his body.

Mami and Homura
So, like several others, she had been asleep when the change happened. But she was a light enough sleeper to have felt that strange shift, like something pressing in on her brain. She didn't think of it as anything off; just a headache, probably. But it is noticeable enough to pull her from her sleep.
"Hn...?" She sits up, rubbing her eyes. The feeling is already settling down, so maybe she doesn't need to search out some medicine for it...
no subject
To say the least, Homura never expected such a situation. She does not move Mami's arms and legs or even her head beyond looking around, but instead thinks very clearly and carefully to the other girl, hoping she will hear her. She concentrates very hard so as to let none of her other thoughts bleed over. Mami may catch a glimpse of it, though-- of how tired and unamused Homura is, and before that the processing of what is happening.
"Good morning." And without meaning to do it, she speaks quietly in Mami's voice: "What's going on? Do you know?"
