Is Your Love Strong Enough? Part 2 - Personal Interwoven Soulcatchers

Following you awakening and talking with a few of the members through the communication systems by way of the three kind people who had awakened her, Nezaitben realized how the crew was stuck in a terrible mess.

So many of them felt sad and depressed. Considering the entire ship, it wasn't too hard to see why. The next day, there had been an unusual amount of magical flowers spreading all over the ship. Nothing that damaged the controls (she might be naive in the way humanoids were, but Nezaitben was no fool either) but they were found in the most unexpected of places. Her own awakening area was now blooming in a flower paradise, the wooden palace standing proudly on top, the smell and pink cherry blossom strong enough to carry through most of the central city area where most people resided.

Yet the ship was still sad.

This would not do.

That night, or what passed as a night for in the ship, Nezaitben took to the 'sky', letting pieces of her own essence fall on top of the sleeping populace, or those that were not sleeping finding themselves feeling the need too. Enveloping the ship into a peaceful slumber, she searched their dreams. The powers granted to her by the pantheon of gods in her homeworld allowed Nezaitben to weave a series of dreamcatchers giving her the ability to see those whose hearts connected true.

These noble souls would do. Lead by example had always been her philosophy. She would give them a great gift - communication with each other in a single body, allowing them to share everything together. Their two soulcatchers were woven together that night into a single, grand ones, hanging in the garden's trees.

A few minutes later, the empty husks of the bodies that weren't being used showed up at her palace. With a smile, she welcomed them like her own children and began to dress them for their task.

That morning, some of the crewmen would wake up to a strange surprise...and that would just be the beginning of a long, strange misunderstanding and young gods trying too much to please everyone.

[OOC - Just a few rules. Keep in mind the listed rules. You can all start your own threads of waking up in the bodies of others. If you feel like leaving a 2nd post for other people to intact with them, start a reply to your own first post with OPEN header. That way everyone else will know where to post and if you don't feel like having an open interaction post right away, you won't have to!

There will also be another post for all the soulless characters to go around spreading joy and love, so look forward to that too!]

May we drop the subject about the dresses, please? she asks, dismissing his remark.

Victoria, on the other hand, has the home terrain advantage , and with a bit of priding manages to find her center of balance again, as they wobble up from the floor into an uncertain upwards stance. She sticks out her hands slightly to make she they don't fall down again, and, surprisingly, they don't.

Well...that wasn't too bad was it? And of course as soon as she says that, one of her feel shakes a little too much and they find themselves falling on top of the bed, thankfully next to the plantsuit.

Oooh...fiddlesticks! Someone is not too happy about how this is going so far.

Now, that is familiar - and there's a flicker of humour from Jamie at Victoria's reaction that manages to linger right up until that attempt at trying to stand. It vanishes rather abruptly as her body pitches onto the bed, replaced with a rather disgruntled Och. Apparently both someones in this situation are not too happy with how things are going.

The fact they're next to the plantsuit is a small bright spot, and Jamie goes to move Victoria's hand out towards it, impatient to get this part of things, at least, taken care of.

Look, let's just get this on first. I'll go...er... Well, nowhere. There's a brief, mildly grumbly thought then that if the Doctor could have come up with something other than meditation to try and give him some mental protection earlier, maybe he'd have a better idea what to do to give her some privacy now. There has to be something, however, and he turns the thought over in his head until something quite suddenly occurs to him.

Hey! I've got an idea! Maybe if I think of something else it'll be like I'm not in here. And then she can at least get dressed in relative peace.

Without giving her a chance to answer, he fixes his mind on one of the few things that can (occasionally) distract him from thoughts of her - thoughts of food. Aye, that'll do. A nice bowl of steel-cut oats, I think, with just a wee pinch of salt for flavour. And maybe some fresh fruit. That would be good right about now.

Jamie's idea seems to work for the most part, as Victoria finds a better control of her body once he starts talking...or well thinking about food. Just enough strength to move her hand properly to grab the plantsuit and putting it on after closing her eyes, still laying on the bed. Quite a hilarious thing to see, if one doesn't know their situation right now. It takes some time, but she manages, as Jamie continues to name on dishes and things he'd like to eat.

I-I'm done now, she finally interjects as he goes on into dishes she is not familiar with. Still, one can see it has affected Victoria when she tries to stand up again - and actually manages to stay upright this time without falling.

Her stomach growls.

Oh pardon me! she tells Jamie. I suppose it is the equivalent of a morning right now...

...and then some te...oh! Aye, right. With an effort, Jamie manages to stop thinking about what would be a very large breakfast if they had everything needed to pull it off. He goes to focusing back on trying to adjust to their current situation, only to be distracted by a growling noise. It takes him a few seconds to register that it's her stomach. The sensation isn't unfamiliar, obviously, as it's a very human sort of reaction. But, somehow, he thought it would be daintier sounding for Victoria. It's not, not really - at least, not internally.

Och, that's louder than I thought it would be. he comments, unthinkingly, before realising that's a very good way to get him angry at her again. Hastily, he goes to correct himself.

Ah, that is, it always sounds louder when it's inside like...er...look, maybe we should stop by the mess hall and get something to eat before we go and look for someone to help?

Jamie! she said scolding him, gently. A lady cannot help if she is hungry at this hour, especially if someone else was talking about nothing but breakfast foods... Her eyes dart to the door, and she manages to walk there without falling, although it looks more like an infant trying to walk than what she normally does.

Ooof! Are the sensoriums closer? We could get food there instead, if you want. I don't know if I can just have normal...food...from the mess hall this morning. Okay so Victoria hated having ANY food at the mess hall. At least thinking of that mess glop took away most of her appetite.

Aye, well, I needed to think of something, now didn't I? he retorts. Then her dislike of the mess hall washes over him. He's aware that she's not any fonder of the place than he is normally, but feeling her emotions makes it that much more real to him - and easier for him to agree with her. But yes, the Sensoriums are closer.

If he's going to be honest with both of them, closer is probably better anyway. As they start to move out the door and down the stairs to leave the house, he sets himself to trying to trying to figure out when she would normally move when she is walking. It's not as easy as it seems. Given the height difference between them - and the fact she doesn't stride in quite the same way he does - walking in her body is considerably different than what he's used to.

Even so, he starts to get the hang of it, although it's certainly ungainly and they have to take the stairs very very slowly to avoid tumbling down them. However, the longer they're stuck like this, it seems that things are starting to come a little easier. Maybe if he doesn't try to fight for control, eventually they'll be able to move much more normally.

Right. So if we can get to the tram, that'll take us to the tubes and then we should be able to get there soon. Maybe we'll run into someone else on the way that can help, too. Are ye ready to go outside, then?

Yes I think I am, she answers, carefully moving her feet as they manage, somehow to advance forward. It takes a long time, but they do manage to get to the tram.

There we are. That wasn't too bad, was it? There's a bit of a teasing tone in there, althought it's also directed at herself, considering Victoria was also doing the walking. I do so hope the situation will be fixed soon, however! It's not that she didn't mind being with Jamie but mostly since...oh dear.

Your body! Oh Jamie...I-I don't think I...we can eat if we don't find it first! There was a bit of guilt at her part just going for wanting food that badly. At least I hope that your body is in good condition. It..it has to be!

My body! It hadn't even occurred to him that it might not be, and there's a moment of realisation followed immediately by a sudden rush alarm as it sinks in. What if something's happened to it? Come on, Victoria, we've got to go find it!!!!

Faced with the prospect of something terrible having happened to it, he's quite forgotten about food. Unfortunately, he's also quite forgotten that he's supposed to be working with Victoria to try and get them to move more or less in unison. This, not surprisingly, results in a moment where he tries to take over so he can rush off and go find himself - and makes standing very difficult for both of them.

At least they're inside the tram and therefore in no danger of doing much more either than falling a very short distance to the ground. Still, Jamie is immediately apologetic.

Victoria? I-I'm sorry, I'd not thought...are ye alright?
