Post Mission Party At The Bar
Its time to unwind, relax and receive news of home. A pod pop occurred while some were on a mission and it's time to meet up with new friends, drink well with old, and relax. The Drunken Dragon has opened its doors and stands ready and willing to assist in forgetting the trials those on the mission experienced.

He also tended to not indulge in PDA very often, though he'd gotten used to it coming from certain people. A hug every now and then from some of the females he'd grown close with, or sometimes a kiss on the cheek from Kaylee, but never much more than that.
So, it was probably a bit of a surprise for the older crew members to see him sitting there with a young one sitting in his lap and practically clinging to him, about the height of a human child of ten or eleven. They were talking in Nerakese, so sometimes a word here or there didn't translate properly, and they were clearly happy to see each other.
It didn't look like either one of them wanted to be separated from the other any time soon.
[This is for anyone that wants to talk to either of them. They're... not really paying much attention to other people unless directly approached.]

When he came across Kang, he stopped and tilted his head. There was another Draconian here? And... a younger one, at that? (He assumed, from her size.) But Kang's children were a lot younger than this. So who could this be?
"Hi!" he said curiously.

"It is nice to meet a friend of my father's." It was not a casual word, if her father said he was a friend, then he must be one of the good humans.

"Hey--" he started, and then tilted his head every so slightly in curiosity. He didn't know there were more like Kang on the ship. And the way he seemed so happy to see her on top of her height ... was she one of his kids? Or a younger sibling of some sort? Jr. remembered seeing Kang conjuring up a home with a handful of children in the Sensoriums once before, but they had been so young.
"Hey," he said again, this time addressing Kali as well.

She gave every appearance of shyness, more than willing to duck into her father unless addressed directly. It had been a very long week for her.

He didn't want to disturb them, if they were busy talking. He figured they might have a lot to catch up on. But he was curious all the same, to get a better look at Kang. So he took a few steps forward, silently craning his neck forward.

Still, she can't help but feel incredibly happy to see Kang looking so happy to be around his child. She certainly hoped for as much all those times he'd expressed mournful sentiments about his family's absence.
"So, how are my favorite Draconians?"

When she did walk over, she clapped Kang on the shoulder. "Good to see you make it back in one piece," she said. Not that she worried much, since it was Kang she was talking about.
Then she turned her attention to Kali and said, "You little snot, you told me you were his niece." She was smiling though - it was pretty clear she was teasing the kid.

She tipped her head to look at her father, taking note of the comment and making a curious humming noise in the back of her throat. "Nuke, Papa?"

As he approached the door to the Tavern, he unslung the cask and tucked it under an arm and strode on in. It wasn't hard to spot Kang, and indeed the one that had been supposedly his niece in his lap, or rather daughter as it certainly seemed, confirming his suspicions when he'd first met her. Nevertheless the sight did make him pause for a moment, bringing a smile to his lips despite the conflicting feelings and emotions that were quickly put in line.
In little time he strode over to their table in his usual confident manner, a smile given down to them both, "Welcome back aboard, Kang, I come bearing the gifts," He greeted even as he brought the cask around to place on the table before them, the markings on the cask could easily signify it's origin of make in Teyr. "It is good to see you again, Krisi, though that is not your proper name now is it," he greeted with an amused smile down to Kali.

Laughing, he looked down at Kali, "No, her name is Kali. She was very clever, pretending to be her cousin in case she'd been nabbed to be used against me."

Well at least things are going right for somebody. He gave a small tired smile at the sight.

She sighed and entered, feeling a bit down. But she brightened when she spotted Krisi in the bar next to what looked like a much larger version of her. Another draconian? Her uncle maybe? He would be the only other draconian that she knew of on the ship, not that there couldn't be more, but this one also happened to be standing with Krisi, so...
Cassie moved quickly over to them. "Krisi!" she greeted happily. "I'm glad to see you!"
She then turned to the larger draconian and smiled, although there was a distinctly cautious look in her eyes. She liked and trusted Krisi, but she wasn't sure what to make of the draconian that she assumed was Krisi's uncle Kang. Marco had been quite certain that they couldn't trust him and some of what she'd heard of his past actions did seem to confirm that conclusion. Still, it didn't hurt to be friendly for now. "Hello, sir. I'm Cassie. It's nice to meet you. I assume that you're Krisi's uncle?"

She would be safe with her father, but she still wanted nothing to do with Marco.
"Papa, this is Cassie, one of Jake's group."
