Its time to unwind, relax and receive news of home. A pod pop occurred while some were on a mission and it's time to meet up with new friends, drink well with old, and relax.The Drunken Dragon has opened its doors and stands ready and willing to assist in forgetting the trials those on the mission experienced.

Kang tensed, wings rustling a bit. He'd planned on telling Kali about all of that, minus a few details from Fairplay, but he'd hoped to not slam her with all of it at once. He could swear he felt the brand again, and barely stopped himself from reaching up to rub at his forehead, "Trudy. She's only been awake a few days, and with me for less than a night. We did get some of what we were sent for, though I have no idea if we'll even be able to use it any time soon. It didn't exactly come with instruction manuals."

He glanced down at his daughter with a slight frown, "I'll tell you about all of that later. Promise."

"Trudy, then, my apologizes." She had been taught to speak respectfully, and on the ship that had only grown stronger as she was uncertain how some of the alliances worked.

She paused, listening and glancing up at her father, studying his forehead, as Trudy gave a list of things that had gone wrong while he had been on the ship. Marriage planet and 'chest busters' were somewhat self explanatory, though strange. But had someone branded her father? How? And what, exactly, was Fairplay?

"...What is Fairplay?"

Trudy winced. "Sorry kid, listen to your dad when he says he'll tell you later."

She shrugged at Kang, and her expression said everything. Trudy wasn't used to censoring herself around children. "So - did she tell you she's an archer? First time I saw her she was carrying around a bow, says she's a pretty good shot."

Kang had missed years of his daughter's life, and she was going to give him as many pieces as she could. Partially because if he was doting on his little girl, he wouldn't ask her to watch the kid.

"No, she didn't." Kang understood Trudy's lack of experience with children, and shrugged as well to let her know it was okay. He was surprised that any of his had decided to go into archery; he didn't mind, though.

To Kali, he smiled, "You're going to have to show me soon. Have you been learning to use any other weapons?"

"I am. I have trained with a sword, papa, and know how to use it, as well as a knife. My archery instructor insisted that if I were to focus on the bow, I should know how to use a knife, since there are times I might not have the space for arrows. Though I prefer the bow. Yana and Brevo are in the thick of things often enough that someone should watch their backs." She made a please little noise, preening under the interest. "I look forward to showing you. And you as well, Trudy, if you would like to watch." She smiled, relaxed in her father's arms.

Questions would come later. And she had more than enough of them to keep her father talking for quite some time.
