Post Mission Party At The Bar

Its time to unwind, relax and receive news of home. A pod pop occurred while some were on a mission and it's time to meet up with new friends, drink well with old, and relax.The Drunken Dragon has opened its doors and stands ready and willing to assist in forgetting the trials those on the mission experienced.

"This is Kali, one of my daughters. Kali, meet Dean. He's a good friend," Kang said, shifting her in his lap slightly.

"Hello, Dean." She nodded, polite and smiling and taking note of the introduction.

He was human, and that had already made her push very slightly backwards. She trusted her father, but her experience with human males had been anything but good.

Kid was probably shy, but still he felt a brief pang as she shifted away. Probably better she was cautious around him anyway.

"You are?" She gave him another look, reassessing and peering at him curiously. She liked Kaylee, Kaylee was a smart and clever woman and she had quickly discovered why her father had befriended her. If she saw fit to court someone, he must be worth something.

Dean's face became stone at that. Kang hadn't heard clearly, though he'd figure Kaylee would have said something.

Damn, he should leave. This ain't the time, and he didn't want to ruin the family reunion Kang had going on. Guy had long needed it, and Dean knew better than anybody about how important family was.

"Yeah, could say that. Should have made that word past tense for starters. Listen, glad you're back, man, and you got your daughter back."
