Its time to unwind, relax and receive news of home. A pod pop occurred while some were on a mission and it's time to meet up with new friends, drink well with old, and relax.The Drunken Dragon has opened its doors and stands ready and willing to assist in forgetting the trials those on the mission experienced.

Fletcher had come down to the tavern to help welcome back everyone from the mission. He was so glad they were safe and sound, so he wanted to say something.

When he came across Kang, he stopped and tilted his head. There was another Draconian here? And... a younger one, at that? (He assumed, from her size.) But Kang's children were a lot younger than this. So who could this be?

"Hi!" he said curiously.

"Fletcher!" Kang grinned at the boy. "I want you to meet someone. This is Kali, one of my daughters. Kali, this is Fletcher. He's a friend of mine."

"Hello." He was rather small for a human, even smaller than Ash, who was, by far, the smallest human she had yet to encounter.

"It is nice to meet a friend of my father's." It was not a casual word, if her father said he was a friend, then he must be one of the good humans.

His daughter? Even stranger... But Fletcher nodded to her politely and smiled. She had to be okay, then.

"It's nice to meet you, Kali. I've heard about you and your family from Kang."

He didn't know how to articulate the confusion he was feeling, so... he didn't. Typical Fletcher.

Kang frowned slightly, noticing the confusion. "...you know how sometimes people from the same world aren't from the same point in the timeline? It's one of those cases. She's ten."

"Oh! I see!" That had to be confusing... but it also had to be better than her not being here at all. So Fletcher kept smiling, now sans confusion.

"I'm ten, too," he said to Kali. "Well, um, I think. I might be eleven now. Time works strangely here."

Kali smiled, amused by the human. "Time works strange? How so?" She was still curled loosely in her father's arms, unwilling to pull away from him just yet. "How did you meet my father, Fletcher?"

She had to wonder if the name had anything to do with his profession. That might certainly be a reason for her father to befriend him, if he had any skill in such things.

He was shorter than her, even if he might be older. Brevo would never have accepted that the small human child could come close to being older than him, even by a year.

"It's difficult to keep track of it. I'm not even sure how long I've been awake, exactly, or what time of day it is on some occasions," Kang said dryly. "It takes some getting used to."

Honestly, he wasn't quite used to it yet himself, even after seven or eight months.

"I met him on the Observation Deck when I pod-popped," Fletcher said. "He was kind of scary since I'd never seen a Draconian before, but he was nice, too."

He didn't mention how he'd mistaken Kang for an Ohm at their first meeting; that was a little embarrassing.
