Meat n' Greet

The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their numbers. After the revelation that their worlds are gone, many of them are even more eager to see people they knew from home.

Several people are set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings. New crew-mates might see a tall man in green armor and snake girl among their number. There are also several authoritative-looking figures ready to introduce themselves.

There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.

[ooc: Only new characters and Command Staff can start new threads for introductions, to limit the number of threads. Everyone else, just tag in and have your guys greet the newbies.]

There was a part of him that was twitchy about hearing this, but Shoutarou tried to not let it show. "I see. It's...rather impressive, really."

He rubbed his forehead a moment, then hauled out his own Double Driver, and sat it on the table. "...we need to figure out how we're going to do things."

"Thank you. If it helps at all, Riders aren't very common -- well, they don't exist in my world, so, in a sense, Philip gave birth to my Rider powers," Hoshi explained while she put her nearly eaten cookie down on the saucer where her tea cup was.

She flicked her wrist and made her own Double Driver appear, taking it off and setting it down. She then took out the Joker, Metal, and Trigger Memories that Philip gave her as well as the various gadgets he also gave her.

"Don't suppose there's another Memory or Driver I can use, right?"

"Ah, about that."

Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out the Lost Driver, it's belt dangling. "You'll have to use this one. And lets see..."

Getting up, he headed to a small vault and undid the lock. Removing a case, he removed one of the items from it and brought the whole case over. "Look through these."

Laying there were 24 Gaia Memories, one of them missing and Eternal obviously destroyed.

"I don't mind using that. I'll keep the other Double Driver and my share of the memories just in case," Hoshi said, taking the Lost Driver for herself.

She waited for when Philip would return before noticing the case of Gaia Memories. She browsed through them and tilted her head. Violence really didn't suit her, nor did Queen or the others, but one of them did grab her interest.

She picked up the Nazca Memory and held it up. "How about this one?" she asked, holding it gently in her hand as if it held some significance to them.

As Philip brought out the Lost Driver and the case of T2s, Shoutarou's eyes widened, then he looked over at his partner. "Wait... How in the world did you get your hands on these?" He peered into it. "Eternal's gone..."

Though, the Memory that Hoshi holds up grabs Shoutarou's attention. He leans back in his chair, pulling his hat off. "That... That Memory." Shoutarou's eyes seem to stare in the distance. "It's not the same one he used, but... The last time I encountered Nazca, it was in the hands of a man who shared similar ideals as me. He was...misguided, granted, but at the core of things, he only wanted to help Fuuto."

Shoutarou's eyes focus back on Hoshi. "If you use that one - treat it well."

Philip smiled at that, remembering the things the former owner had done in order to protect the city. "In that case, Shotarou. Here."

He held out a black memory with a stylized S on the front for Shotarou to take. "I'm sure even the Joker needs a trump card."

Hoshi listened to each word that Shoutarou spoke, nodding at him. "You guys said earlier that you protect the smiles of Fuuto so that no one cries, right? Well, I'd like to help you two out with protecting the smiles of those on Stacy so that no one here cries as long as we can help it."

Then, she took a pause and put on a big grin. "I... I want to be the best Kamen Rider I can be -- no, not even that. I want to be the best me I can be, and that's also being a Kamen Rider at your side."

She would definitely make sure to honor the memories of the user who used the last Nazca Memory by fighting her hardest and protecting the citizens on board Stacy.

For several moments, Shoutarou just stares at the Memory Philip's holding out to him.

Finally, he reaches forward, and takes it, staring at it. "I..." He swallows a bit. "Thank you, Philip..."

Then Hoshi speaks up, and Shoutarou smiles - Leave it to Philip to pick a good one to fill in for him. "That's the spirit, hi--Hoshi. I'm sure you did a fine job in my place, and will continue to do so."

"We'll all be Riders," assured Philip. "Shoutarou and I are partners yes, but there's no reason not to let someone take a step forward into the devil's courage."

"I'm sure you'll become a great Kamen Rider on your own, but we've got a lot to learn about the Nazca Memory first," added Philip. "We'll go to the sensoriums after getting Shotarou settled in first, and figure out everything from there."

Whether it was getting into the moment or something else, Hoshi nodded to the both of them before wrapping an arm around each of them.

She felt like she was home, being part of a team like this. "We'll give it our all!" And both of her arms wrapped tightly around them, a happy grin on her face.

Shoutarou nods at Philip, and then is wobbled a bit by the hug. He chuckles, then raises his cup. "For the smiles of those on Stacy!"
