Meat n' Greet

The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their numbers. After the revelation that their worlds are gone, many of them are even more eager to see people they knew from home.

Several people are set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings. New crew-mates might see a tall man in green armor and snake girl among their number. There are also several authoritative-looking figures ready to introduce themselves.

There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.

[ooc: Only new characters and Command Staff can start new threads for introductions, to limit the number of threads. Everyone else, just tag in and have your guys greet the newbies.]

< Yeah. > Awkward. He'd thought everyone would remember that time at the beach, but maybe it just stuck out for him because it had been such a good time compared to what he had just gone through.

< Ahead of me? What does that mean? >

"I told you - Stacy grabs people from different times. Don't ask me why, I have no idea. Maybe she thinks it's funny. But it means that none of us come from exactly the same point in time. I'm from..." Marco paused. After the whole Melting Clock thing, Marco wasn't even sure how to explain where he was in the timeline anymore. "...uh, I'll explain when I'm from later. It's kinda complicated. But I'm ahead of you. That mission was way back for me."

< Time travel. Always fun. > Tobias replied dryly.

< So essentially you're from my future. Funny, you look younger than that. > He's a bit annoyed, frustrated, even. And part of him is wondering if this is even real. Did he actually go crazy under the torture and now he's in a cage at the barn, hallucinating all of this? He doesn't voice the concerns though. Better to wait, see what happens.

"You're telling me," Marco said dryly. "And hey, you're just jealous cause I've got all the youthful good looks, bird-boy. But I am totally sixteen. Or seventeen. Okay, so I'm not entirely sure how old I am anymore, but I'm definitely one of those two options."

< Youthful maybe, but good looks are questionable. > Tobias rebutted.

< How do you not know how old you are anymore, anyway? >

Marco sighed. This wasn't going to be fun to try and explain. "I wasn't kidding when I say the point I'm from is complicated. Okay, it's not just complicated, it's insane. Short explanation is that there was this weird melting clock thing that stole people's time and made them deage. And because the universe clearly hates me, I was one of the ones affected - except when they finally managed to destroy the damn thing and get everyone's time back, three years of my time went bye-bye. I was actually nineteen when I woke up here, and since I've been here a while I think I was at least twenty by then. What the hell that makes me now, I have no idea."

See Tobias? Complicated.

"Have I mentioned that this ship is completely insane yet?"
