Meat n' Greet

The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their numbers. After the revelation that their worlds are gone, many of them are even more eager to see people they knew from home.

Several people are set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings. New crew-mates might see a tall man in green armor and snake girl among their number. There are also several authoritative-looking figures ready to introduce themselves.

There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.

[ooc: Only new characters and Command Staff can start new threads for introductions, to limit the number of threads. Everyone else, just tag in and have your guys greet the newbies.]

"I understand." If she's been brought here to fight, she thinks, she'll fight. She'll fight twice as hard so that Madoka doesn't have to. "The Ohm destroy worlds, Stacy said."

"....Uh huh." Her face falls, and her gaze drops to the ground. Such a thing....the Ohm might have their reasons, and own desire to exist, but it's just so horrible that Madoka can hardly stand it.

Homura doesn't like it either. The world she'd worked so hard in is gone... almost all the people in that world dead as a result. To say she feels absolutely nothing for that place is to lie; Homura feels a bit of longing for it, for something familiar. And a bit of sadness for her lost family. She was never on great terms with them-- she practically lived by herself-- but it's something that passes through her head.

But in the end, she tells herself, it doesn't really matter what other people die. So long as Madoka is alive, so long as Kyubey hasn't sunk his fangs into her, Homura is happy.

"Tell me more about when I was here last," she asks, after some silence. "I don't remember seeing this place before in my life."

She swallows a bit. "It...wasn't for very long." And it's something she doesn't like thinking about, Homura being here and alive one day and gone and nothing the next. It makes her scared- Stacy was supposed to keep them all relatively safe, right? Or at least, delivered from the wreckage of their worlds.

It's not fair for her to take them back again.

"Nothing really happened- I mean, I met you here. We...a-arrived at the same time, I think. And you..." Left. "..disappeared. B-But it's all right if you don't remember, Homura-chan."
