Meat n' Greet

The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their numbers. After the revelation that their worlds are gone, many of them are even more eager to see people they knew from home.

Several people are set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings. New crew-mates might see a tall man in green armor and snake girl among their number. There are also several authoritative-looking figures ready to introduce themselves.

There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.

[ooc: Only new characters and Command Staff can start new threads for introductions, to limit the number of threads. Everyone else, just tag in and have your guys greet the newbies.]

"Can you just tell me what else is out there? I'm sure I can find my way around, but I wanna see Hydroponics first. It's got some grass and trees, and that's all I really need."

Yes, she would sleep there if she was ever allowed to.

"Well, there's the city where some of the crew is and also where I live. There's plenty of buildings and other places there-- and oh! I have a friend who has a garden in Hydroponics. Her name is Alastirra and I'm sure she'd be happy to meet you, Applejack. Then, there's the Sensoriums that a lot of people like to use for either training or to recreate memories, stuff like that--"

And Hoshi went on to explain the other rooms she found so far on Stacy as well as their uses.

Applejack nodded along with the introduction, mentally crossing most of the places off her list. She didn't need some fancy bed to sleep in or any complicated 'computers' tripping her up.

"Why thank you! But I think I'll stick to Hydroponics and the park. If I can't have fresh air, at least give me some grass under my hooves."

"You're welcome! And, I totally can understand that. There's nothing quite like fresh air," Hoshi agreed with Applejack, definitely seconding feeling the grass underneath one's self.

"So you'll want to look for me out there, okay?" Applejack bobbed her head excitedly, already dreaming of the place.

"Got it! Did you want me to lead you to the Hydroponics or do you have someone in line for that already, Applejack?"

"Aww, you don't gotta worry about herding me from place to place. I'll find my way there, but thanks."

Applejack tipped her hat once more, looking about ready to trot off. No one would be keeping her from apples, thank you.

"I really wouldn't mind, but if you say so," Hoshi said to Applejack.

There was always the next time she'd see her, that was for sure!

"Don't you fuss about me, okay? I'll see you soon!" Applejack gently butted her head against Hoshi before leaving, a satisfied little smile on her face. This wasn't too bad so far.

"Got'cha!" The headbutt was accepted warmly with a smile and a light chuckle. She'd definitely had to meet up with her again.
