'Meat' 'n Greet
The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their numbers. After the revelation that their worlds are gone, many of them are even more eager to see people they knew from home.
Several people are set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings. New crew-mates might see a green-skinned alien and snake girl among their number. There are also several authoritative-looking figures ready to introduce themselves.
There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.
[ooc: Only new characters and Command Staff can start new threads for introductions, to limit the number of threads. Everyone else, just tag in and have your guys greet the newbies.]

"Any 'others' here?" he asked, keeping his tone casual but using the Force amplify his voice a little. "I hear you've got some explanations."

Pushing his way through groups, between shoulders, murmuring apologies as he went, he made his way over to Ben. But when he stood before him, blue eyes wide, Luke found that words stuck in his throat, and all he could get out was a soft, "Ben?"

"Oh, son..." Luke stepped forward, wrapping his arms around Ben--and probably running a danger of cracking some ribs with its strength. "I'm glad you're all right."

"I know it sounds crazy, but as far as any of us know, it's true," he said, stepping back and lowering his arms, thinking on Ben's second question. "The Shadow's not here, as far as I know, I haven't looked all through the hangar, though, it might be there, I know a whole squadron of X-Wings and the Falcon are. Why?"

"There's a bunch of stuff from all of our universes here - especially in the City; there's a ton of famous and important buildings all thrown together. How's that, for starters?"

"I'm sorry, I know that's kind of a really big bombshell to drop all at once."

This one you know.
She followed the sensation until she found the Force-user in question. It took a few seconds for the credit chip to drop but with that straw coloured hair and those baby blues, who else could it possibly be?
"Ben?"

"Hello there."
no subject
He'd never met the Jedi Master before, though he'd seen holos of his father's mentor scattered throughout the Temple library. He remembered clearly the first time he'd seen a picture of the Jedi, when he was still hiding from the Force but was too curious not to take a peek at his namesake in the library archives, and wondering how in the galaxy they were supposed to be alike. Now that feeling had returned, stronger than it ever had been before, and he was fervently glad that the Jedi Master had gone for a simple opening statement, because all he could think to say now was: "Hi. I'm Ben Skywalker."

He was amused at that, rather than chagrined. Obi-Wan enjoyed Arha's joy, despite its need for tempering. Or perhaps it was that Luke had named his child after him that was making the crows-feet grow around Kenobi's eyes. IT wasn't often one was graced with that particular honor.

The conversation stalled there, sitting dead on the floor between them, but that wasn't quite enough for Obi-Wan. He watched Ben thoughtfully, brow pinching ever so slightly.
"It's a lot to take in," he tried for compassion, knowing he'd been accused of using that gentle tone for manipulative evils before, and that knowledge gave Obi-Wan an edge of caution despite himself, "How are you taking it?"

Then she felt the new - yet familiar - presence spring up again.
She headed toward the red-haired Jedi, doing an excellent job at keeping the smirk off her face, and bowed deeply.
"Hello again," she greeted. "You, too?"
