Leaf had had a very bad...well, even she wasn't sure how long it had been since she had been stalking down the hallways. All she knew is that she had been taken away and sent on a mission to find 'cake'.
She still wasn't entirely sure what cake was, truth be told, and the scent she had kept following-but never actually found the source of-certainly didn't smell like anything natural. She had since decided that cake was of the Weaver, and the entire point of finding it was to kill it. But she wasn't about to complain about being released from her seemingly endless duty.
Leaf let out a snarl and shook herself before giving the air a few good sniffs, trying to reorient herself to her surroundings. Everything looked and largely smelled the same-it stank of apes and unnatural things, as always. That wasn't unexpected. She had more important things on her mind than apes, anyway. Throwing back her head, she let out a howl-where was the pack?

Leaf hadn't intended to end up in the city, but the faint scent of trees had attracted her. And if there was a chance of finding some sort of green on the ship, she was interested in it. She missed proper landscape-there was always the sensorium, but she still didn't entirely trust it. This, at least, smelled like it was permanent, and not something that would fade away.
She made her way through the scab cautiously, her ears splayed out and her hackles up as she tried to ignore the buildings looming overhead. As the scent of trees got stronger, she picked up her pace, finally breaking into a lope in hopes of finding natural shelter faster. But once she found it, she skidded to a halt, eyeballing it warily.
The entwined trees of the temple smelled as they should, that was true. But seeing them entwined to form something made her uneasy. Leaf stepped closer to the temple entrance, then stopped just outside it, peering in and flicking her ears back and forth uncertainly.

A howl rings out through Stacy, an eerie and almost unearthly noise that'll make the hair stand on the back of your neck. Bella can use comm rings, but doesn't. They're Weaverish, and no proper Get lupus will use a darn Weaverthing! Or at least not Bella. Through Stacy's onboard translation, there's a creepy effect going on where you can hear the howl but also instinctively understand it as if it were words. "THIS ONE IS BELLA, THIS ONE IS AHROUN, THIS ONE IS GET OF FENRIS. THIS ONE HUNTS IN SENSORIUM-PLACE. THIS ONE IS ALONE. COME HUNT WITH THIS ONE IF YOU HAVE TEETH AND CLAWS. TOGETHER WE KILL. TOGETHER WE FEED." It'll carry a good long way, Bella has a strong voice. Whether it reaches the ears of any potential members of a hunting party will just have to be seen. She'll be sitting outside the sensoriums waiting for a bit, sitting and looking excited. So, ship, have a wolf in a podsuit! (OOC: Feel free to come talk to the howly wolf! If you're going to join in on the hunt, please keep to one thread for better organization!)

Team November, report to the Precinct immediately.
Javert is not particularly skilled with the omnicom, but he's double and triple-checked the short message and is fairly sure everything is correct and clear by the usual standards, cursing the small, awkward keypad.
He stands firmly outside the Precinct, ideally easy to spot, for once not lurking in the background but allowing his height and stature to make him a clear and obvious landmark, and waits for his team to find him. He's fairly sure it won't be that difficult.

Cybil, Dr. McNinja, Dark Smoke Puncher, Plays-in-Traffic, One-Leaf-Ear, Geoff, and Dean all set off in one direction through the tall, skinny, blueish trees. Even the way the leaves rustles might have sounded a little different to some.
Occasionally, they came across strange trails in the underbrush, like a very small fire had scooted purposefully across the ground.
|
The door opens to a lush green place. They've landed in a forest glade of some kind. Deciduous in nature, but the leaves are somewhat odd in shape and very, very thick and tall. The grass is a green that's almost a blue.
The sky is blue like a normal sky, but brighter, more vibrant than on Earth. Two moons hang there, so close that they're visible even in the daytime.
The air is fresh and clean-smelling, like after a rain--in fact, the moisture in the air means it may have rained here recently. There's even a cool, light breeze.
Curiously, when they come down the ramp, they'll see that the pod--its umbilical cord spiraling up miles upon miles to meet the ship, floating visibly in the atmosphere--is floating about six inches off the ground. - Tags:!location: planetside, !plot: mission 01- recovery, b5, billy cranston, brainiac 5, cale tucker, chaucer, dean winchester, dr mcninja, elle bishop, jean grey, john-117, kate bishop, leela bricker, leon s. kennedy, malcolm reynolds, nightwing, one-leaf-ear, paco, plays-in-traffic, samus aran, soundwave, spock, stature, the middleman

With new crewmates come new scents, and One-Leaf-Ear is taking time out to investigate the said scents-and see if any of the newest members of the ship are...interesting. She wanders along a corridor, nose to the ground, ears pricked forward as she snuffles, pausing to sneeze loudly and she her head, ears flapping.
"Apes," she grumbles to herself, flicking her ears back momentarily. "All apes." The wolf sits to scratch at herself, ears going forward again as she waits and watches. Someone has to come by eventually, don't they? Perhaps she'll learn more about the as-of-yet unseen newcomers that way.

There's a loud snarling echoing through the vicinity of the pod caverns and the clothing room. A bass, throat-rattling snarl that no dog ever spawned could make. It breaks off into an enraged howl.
"WYRM-THING! ABOMINATION! RELEASE ME!"
If you look for the source you'll find Bella the werewolf in war form, suspended from the tentacles in the clothing room. She's soundly entangled and her thrashing is only making it worse. A few bitten off ends of tentacles are lying on the floor.
||Bella. Willfully damaging the ship results in Violations. 15 Violations results in Punishment. This is your only warning.||
Stacy's voice cuts in over Bella's snarls. The tentacles strain, attempting to get loose from the stuck werewolf, but she's too well-snared. Instead this just wrenches her body, prompting a half-roar.
"LET ME GO!" she bellows, sinking her teeth into another tentacle and biting through it.
||Bella. Willfully damaging the ship results in Violations. This is your 1st Violation. 15 Violations results in Punishment.||
The tentacles strain again.
(Would like to run this as a continuous thread to avoid time confusion >.>)

Squish. Squelch, squish.
The lack of movement was beginning to get to him. Ax sighed and shifted his weight, causing his serving of the mess hall's food to ooze unpleasantly under his hooves. It was too much like being sick, too much like eating those liquid grass rations kept aboard Andalite ships for those too sick or injured to stand up and graze properly.
There was the grass around the Garibah tree of course, but he wanted to read up more about the tending of that tree and its grass before he even tried that. The last thing he wanted to do was damage the tree. Fortunately (or unfortunately), Stacy had Andalite literature in the Media Center, and Ax had some free time after he finished eating. He hoped that they'd be able to figure a way off of Stacy sooner rather than later, but in the mean time, the Garibah needed care-taking.
Squish.

||All crew-mates. Please report to the Obs Deck to meet your new crew-mates.|| It's time for all the newbies to get a chance to have a formal meeting with the crew. Given the confusion of their arrival, that's probably a good thing. Word gets out among the crew mates, spreading in a game of whisper down the meat-alley, that an informal crew meeting is what's happening, free from Stacy's prying ears, and sure enough, as soon as everyone's in the room, they're gestured to move in close, and a wall of blue energy goes up around them all. Ok, so perpetually hanging out in the medbay had finally become boring and tiresome enough for Sawyer to venture out into the ship. Granted, he was unarmed and, granted, he had gotten the warning not to go walking around by himself just like everyone else, but listening to 'orders' wasn't exactly one of Sawyer's strong suits. That went especially for orders that were accompanied with an authoritative tone by someone who thought that they were in charge. So, of course, he didn't listen...
When he stepped into the city, Sawyer's mouth fell open and his eyes went wide as they drifted over the massive structures and the false sky above. "Well this makes sense," he commented, sarcastically, to himself.

Ron had taken to hiding in the Sensorium, which at present looked like a dojo, ad was presently practicing his Tai Shing Pek Kwar. Without Kim around, he was definitely going ot have to step up, even if he did vastly prefer just being a distraction on missions. But even constant practice wasn't enough to distract im from missing his friends and family, especially KP, and despite hiding from the crew, he would definitely enjoy having someone to talk to at the moment.

Despite being inside (what she understands to be) a bizarre and possibly Wyrmish flesh-building, Bella's priorities remain intact. First and foremost, she wants her pack. For as long as she's known them, the other three have ALWAYS been able to figure out what's going on. Therefore, she reasons, they might be able to explain these things to her and help her figure out how to go home. The pack should be here, shouldn't they? If she's here, they MUST be! It makes perfect sense to her.
Bella is currently sniffing around the obs deck in wolf form, trying to pick up familiar traces of scent against the constant of Stacy's smell. She's not having much luck. She does, however, seem to be pretty relaxed at the moment. That combined with Stacy's anti-violence tentacles being back online ought to make it safe to talk to her.
Dare you approach the werewolf?

When they blast down the door to the Medical Wing--and they'll have to, to get in--the group of newly podpopped crew-mates will bear witness to an interesting sight. Several individuals are strapped to med-beds, restrained by insect-looking legs pinning them down. One of those individuals has a cape and domino mask that may be familiar to one of the new crew-members--even if he's older than that crew member last remembers. Medical scans and monitors blip away. There are test tubes and other medical equipment around, including a flask with some sort of nasty gray slug curled at the bottom.
A few individuals are standing around, standing guard, including a girl with a bow and arrows. In the back of the Medical Wing is a woman with a scared-looking little girl.
Sitting on a stool, leaning over a shaggy-haired young man (who appears to have suffered a horrible head wound), is that green-skinned, blonde-haired individual shown by the AIs earlier. Some freaky looking goggles are over his eyes, and a strange and sinister-looking surgical glove, attached to an apparatus on the ceiling and full of rotating micro-lasers and mini-scalpels among other things, is on his hand.
It is, unfortunately, not an image that lends itself to easy interpretation. - Tags:bella (garou), brainiac 5, brenda, connor macmanus, cybil bennett, danny phantom, dean winchester, jean grey, kaylee frye, kon-el, lyta alexander, nathan petrelli, one-leaf-ear, rika furude, ron stoppable, sawyer, sentinel prime, shinichi izumi, speedy mia dearden, superman

While the newly pod-released members of the crew happened to mostly miss each other in the Pod Caverns and the clothing chamber, they all happen to congregate in the Weapons and Possessions Lockers at the same time. This cavernous warehouse of a chamber has shelves and shelves and racks of belongings and weapons that go off as far as the eye can see. Everything from massive sidearms to impossibly huge swords, to Hello Kitty lunchboxes.
Their own belongings are here near the front--they've been moved to make finding them more easy, but it will take a bit of hunting.
Either way, they won't be searching alone. Everyone's piling in at the same time. - Tags:!location: weapons and possessions, !plot: pod release, brenda, dean winchester, jack harkness, jack spicer, javert, jean grey, jo lupo, kaylee frye, one-leaf-ear, rika furude, river song, ron stoppable, roy mustang, sawyer, sentinel prime, superman
