The Day. The Drama. The...love, we hope.
Who: Ronnae, Billy, and various wedding guests!
Where: In Light's Hope Chapel, with party to follow at the Drunken Dragon Tavern.
What: Two are getting married. Will someone faint from shock? Will anything break? Will it be a happy night? Stay tuned!
After preparation, anticipation, and vivid memories of nights they won't soon forget, Ronnae and Billy are finally ready for a little ceremony.'Little' was what they had in mind, but there was a chance it could end up being a relative term.
The location was the Light's Hope Chapel in the City, a tiny little place with enough memorial statues and open space to give a majestic, hopeful atmosphere. There were no singing birds or bright skies, just a little shelter from the world in which to have a dedication as lifemates. That would be more than enough for them.
What were the right words to say? The ins and outs of dancing? The foods on the table? Theyd' find out soon enough, creating a day to remember. Whether that remembrance was fairy-tale sweet or a simple overcoming of the odds would remain to be seen.

PRE-JITTERS
Billy
"You came to me at one of the worst times in my life...no. Too sentimental. It's true, but too sentimental." He scribbled out another line, casting a brief glance at the gift he'd hung over a hat stand. "All for you, love. I have to make this worth it."
((Open to any guys who might want to laugh/be part of the party.))

In other words, why wasn't Billy in a tux?

Don't over think this. It will come, trust me. All the words will be there, they're just waiting for you to say them. You've grown enough to know them by heart.

"Changed your mind on the fancy dress?" Granted she hoped things went better than the last wedding she attended. It was a rough time all around, though her sister and husband were fine, and she met her first team that way.

Re: Billy
Actually, Billy may not even notice the boots, given how intensely he's working on his vows. Jamie leans over to take a peek at what's been scribbled down so far.
"What's wrong with a wee bit of sentiment? It is your wedding day, ye know."

Ronnae
After decimating countless foes she looked back towards the sensorium door and narrowed her eyes, she should be getting ready just about now, if anything so she could have some extra alone time before the wedding took place. Slinging her weapons over her shoulder, she rushed off to her home to get refreshed and ready for the ceremony, she would have enough time for that and polishing her armor and weapons before having to head down to Light's Hope...
The place which she held so dear would be the place of their engagement huh? She wondered what her parents would say... and her siblings... There was no better wish that wanting them desperately to be here with her today, on this most special of days... but she knew that wouldn't be the case.
With one last look at the house after getting ready, Ronnae began her walk towards the Chapel, going over everything in her head.

Re: Ronnae
Kaya was going to be present for this, bright and early and without fail. She was usually dressed in blue, for today she had decided to go in a simpler yellow sundress, and surprisingly, it worked with her today. Of course she would be going to see her Bonded, but first was looking over at wishing her best to the bride. That included keeping up with her, but Kaya liked a challenge.
"I know you'll see me soon, but I just wanted you to know: couldn't be any more happier for you two."

A delighted, little smile sprung on Nokosi's face when he saw the garments she wore--her armor. How fitting, considering her people. Pushing himself up, he dropped from the branches that separated their homes, and jogged to catch up with his friend.
Nokosi didn't speak, he simply fell in step with the Orc girl and slid an arm around her shoulder.

THE CEREMONY
Both of them will now meet in the chamber, joining in front of their little audience. Blending in with the massive crowd in Orongo had certainly been easier!

Ronnae took a deep breath, closing her eyes and focusing on the now. If it was just a dream, she'd wake up with a smile, if it was a nightmare, she'd fight back, if it was real... If it was real, then she'd enjoy it to the fullest. Just being here, right now, dream or not was making her blush heavily, if anything, the rapid beating of her heart and the warmth of her blushed cheeks made it all the more comforting.

This couldn't be more different. They came dressed in their preferred battle armor, they had an audience of close friends, and they were writing their own commitment. No pressure here---this was real, their own choice. Something he'd been hoping to do 'properly' for a while.
He started up the pathway to the center with some nervous flutters still in his chest, the gift clutched tightly in his gloved fist.
That was when he saw her. Ronnae, dressed in her formal armor and looking strong and proud. She'd' been training this morning, hadn't she? She had that look about her. How clever! He felt himself blush as they came face to face...here they stood as they were, warriors, partners, and lovers.
"Hi," Billy whispered, forgetting for a moment that this was against proper decorum. He couldn't help talking to her. They had to reassure themselves that they'd get through this.

Re: THE PARTY
After all their hardships and all of their strife, they were able to just BE together. It made her remember that there was more than just pain and strife and hurt on Stacy. There were also these times, which she treasured most of all.
"It was a really great ceremony," she sniffed, laughing. "Now please, have a drink with me, Ronnae, Billy!"

@ the party.
Some things, never change though and the timid half-orc girl stayed in the back, enjoying herself by simply watching the others have fun.

He held a mug of water, unwilling to take a risk on anything else. Humiliation with just the guys was one thing. Here would be something else.
"Hey. You're all right?"

He would have jumped Billy with a game of 20 questions on the matter, but rationalized that this probably wasn't the best time. Instead the elf walked up, bowed and uttered a congratulatory word that was most certainly of some other language. Nokosi smiled widely, flashing his fangs.
"How do you feel after all is said and done?"
