Mission: Castle and Crystal City [Open for family / friends to see off this part]
||Attention, Attention. The following crew members must report to the Observation Deck...||
Stacy began to name off sixteen members of the crew, repeating the message until everyone had arrived. When they did, they would find the following information being displayed.
Planet Designation: Unknown. No records of a system existing at this location can be found. All information is based on preliminary scans.
Status: Terrestrial, H-class.
Non-sentient life: Extensive flora and fauna.
Semi-Sentient Life: Unknown.
Sentient Life: Obsidian medial castles and crystal cities scattered all around, but no signs of humanoid life detected.
Water: 80.8% of the planet's surface.
Climate: Similar to Earth's Tropical zones [Click here for cultural equivalents for non-Earth cultures.]
Landscape: What little remains of area is deep thick tropical forest with forests and abandoned towns.
Air: Non-toxic. Elevated levels of oxygen.
Air Pressure: 101.3 kPa (kilopascals) = 14.7 psi (pounds per square inch)
Sky: Blue.
Sun: A class G V, yellow dwarf star.
Warnings: No records of this planet exist. Suggest taking extreme caution while planet-side, as dangers that have not shown up on preliminary scans could exist. Please bring appropriate tools and weapons.
Mission: Scout planet's surface and locate the twin signals.
Being sent off into the unknown was part of the risks that being on the ship had brought them. Thankfully they were getting a chance to stock up before heading out.
But just what was waiting out there?
[[Just so you all know, this is bendy time for around the 12th on the meatship, so those who were hurt during the battle should be much, much better. This is also the only post that will be open to both groups before they split off, and anyone who wishes to see them off can do so. In fact, it's encouraged!]]

When she saw the screens with the scrolling information on them - well, alright, this was probably trouble. But not court-martial trouble, which meant she could handle it. Somehow. It felt odd to be on the receiving end of such a message - usually she was the one giving out missions like this.

Jr. gazed up to the information, trying to size up the kind of place those called would be visiting. Metal castles and crystal cities? Jr. hoped somewhere that he wouldn't be missing some enchanted visit to the Emerald City or something. He'd never forgive Stacy if she left him out of something like that!

Long story.
The Doctor popped up on the Obs Deck standing right behind a girl with gorgeously almost ginger hair. Not enough to get envious off, but he thought if you put her in the right light, she could pull off amazingly ginger if she put her mind to it. The Doctor peered over her shoulder at the announcement, squinting up at the display, and not at all concerned with bringing weapons or anything like that. No sign Stacy knew who the town ruins belonged to, either.
"Oh, that's lovely," the Doctor suddenly said, almost in the human's ear. Enjoy a Time Lord invading your personal space, crew member person. "New planet! Mysterious signals! Couldn't get better, don't you think?"

She did, however, manage to give the slightly manic (dear god not another one) man behind her a somewhat brittle smile. "I'm not sure how I feel about the 'new' and 'mysterious' adjectives there." Alright, so the idea of going somewhere humans had never been before was a little exciting - but she was a strategist, not a pioneer. And the vast majority of her wanted to get back to either sleeping or keeping her Meisters from shooting each other or some such.

He glanced at his companion. "You're fine, right?"

Just a tiny bit.
"Last time we didn't know what we were getting into as a small team was pretty great," she agreed. "I guess you could say Galilee was interesting too, but for different reasons, tee hee hee!"
Oh man, maybe they could steal stuff here too.

"Unknown planet, fun." She remarked dryly. Frankly after the big battle that she narrowly avoided she wasn't feeling particularly excited about the concept of risking her neck on a planet even Stacy was unfamiliar with.
But what could she do other then attempt to be a team player?
no subject
Speaking of which, someone seriously needed to set Galilee on fire. You know. If they hadn't already done it themselves.

He's not sure this lassie feels the same way, though. She's a bit hard to read. Still, he figures he should be friendly, in case they wind up working together.
"I don't think we've met yet," he says, extending a hand. "Jamie McCrimmon."

So there she was, watching the others gather a she floated in her spot at the back.

When she arrived, she quickly went through the information scrolling on the screens and mentally sighed. Off to explore some planet that they had little to no knowledge of; well that was just fantastic.

Well, a loss for words longer than four letters and that don't require a seven second delay at any FCC-censored station.
He ends up standing next to a girl who looks about as happy to be here as he is. "So. Ready for some near-death shenanigans?"

"She wants me out there again so soon? Who am I to argue with a lady." With that, he moved over to examine the available information, taping lazily at his chin with a pair of fingers.

"... Twin signals?"

He read over the information that was presented, then set to looking to Edward. He didn't have to look long before he heard his voice.
"What are those?"

But at least the Overlord and Lash were here. For her part, she had the overlord's gun, her two glocks, the butterfly knife and two short swords on her back. The Pactio card with Negi was also safely tucked away.
You know, insurance. Or, to put it in Chris Rock terms, "in case shit."
She was in full Hit Girl regalia too, so this would be interesting to any new people to see a young girl in a superhero outfit armed to the teeth.

"I am so pumped for this," she told the other girl. "One dumb mission withstanding the other ones I got sent on were pretty fun." Because getting brianwashed into being an evil scientist was fun.
Not much of a change of jobs mind you...

"Don't screw this one up." She teased playfully with a grin hiding her pout that she wasn't coming along.
