Being sent off into the unknown was part of the risks that being on the ship had brought them. Thankfully they were getting a chance to stock up before heading out.

But just what was waiting out there?

[[Just so you all know, this is bendy time for around the 12th on the meatship, so those who were hurt during the battle should be much, much better. This is also the only post that will be open to both groups before they split off, and anyone who wishes to see them off can do so. In fact, it's encouraged!]]

That made her smile a genuine smile, "Yeah...that'll happen. And I'll be promoted to captain for my kind and pleasant demeanor."

Captain Jinx...she admitted she liked the sound of that. But one step at a time.

"Well, I suppose stranger things have been known to happen," he says dryly, then gives her a somewhat crooked smile of his own. "But being Captain seems like an awful lot of work, if ye ask me. I'd rather take my chances with unknown beasties down on the planet."

"No guts no glory." she countered. After all she knew all too well the difficulties of being a leader. It was only a pain when you couldn't count on your minions...err, crew.

Jamie has had a little experience with leadership as well, but if it comes down to being the Captain or getting to go creep down a corridor somewhere and find out what's at the end, he'd much rather have the latter.

"Aye, well, ye can have your glory. Although I suppose we'll see what it is we'll find once we get down there."
