It's The Final Countdown
This was it. Endgame. The crux of the battle, the turning point, those crucial moments that would decide if the crew won or lost, that would decide if the Ohm would reign victorious or go running with their chitinous tails between their legs.
Did the crew have enough grit to win? Could they defeat a full Ohm fighting force?
With the flagging confidence of the GIA forces, it'd be up to the crew to turn the tide.
And one of the crew would pay the ultimate price to make sure the others walked away alive.
[ooc: everything is up!]

Space
Leviathan
Could they do it?

"Alright, you ugly creeps! Time to take care of business!" he said, charging forward. He needed to push forward, get to one of the Leviathans. Maybe his small size and incredible speed could stop it!

But they were here now, finally approaching the field of battle.

Re: Node
Ship
The entire ship shuddered, and then... the lights died.
Dim red lights running on backup power went on, but they were still losing power! And that meant losing the ability to move to avoid another beam, it meant malfunctions everywhere.
Engines Down!
Re: Engines Down!
The fecal matter was starting to pile up. First Ohm attacking, now an attack tearing into the ship, now everything starting to shut down. Spider-Man quickly raced from the scene, ignoring the pain of the wounds he was inflicted with to make it to what consoles were active.
Everyone who's still on board, I'm gonna need help here! The ship's dead in the water - well, space, but you know what I mean - and there's no way your Friendly Neighborhood Wall-Crawler can bring everything back up to speed!
Pod Caverns
Hanger

He did wish he'd had the foresight to bring along more powerful weaponry himself. A laser screwdriver was more than enough for humans, but he wasn't so sure it would work as well on the Ohm.
The Master swallowed as the doors opened (well, one door-- the other was hanging by its... could those even be rightly classified as 'hinges'?) and the scene became absolutely clear.
The hangar was filled with smoke, illuminated by red light and brief flashes of gunfire of various sort. And the Ohm. The Ohm were everywhere, spilling into every available space like cockroaches. Strangely segmented, militarized cockroaches.
"Probably not so clever, walking in through the front," he commented acidly, but if the Doctor or River cared to take a look behind them, they'd see he'd gone ghost white.

Dunno? River's doing the fighting right now

Okay, so I guess thread order is now Jess->Ans->Camille->Liz?
Works for me! Sorry I'm late.

Med Bay
But once the lights went out, there would be nothing to see for an instant; only hear, as people shouted and even screamed. The emergency lights came up, but it was clear that the staff's work had just become that much more complicated.
Re: Med Bay
Kaya was close to frantic. The last few hours had been quiet at least, a change in what had taken place recently. Kaya had controlled naps now, and the vials that Nokosi had given to her had been a great help: they had kept her with a level head for quite a time. But now there were rumors that the commotion was getting worse, and she wished more than anything she could be out there, find out exactly what had happened with all of the people she'd been fighting with against the Ohm.
And now? Chaos.
"Please everyone, calm down! We have to keep a level head! Relax: we'll get to the bottom of the situation!"

He needed to go to Medbay, but there was something else he had to do. Astrid never checked her comm--hell she barely carried it around.
"Toothless, I really need to you to do something for me," he said, placing his hand on the dragon's snout, and leaning in close so he didn't have to shout over the din of the refugees that were crowding the ship.
He was getting paler before the dragon's eyes, but it wasn't himself he was worried about.
"I'm heading to Medbay--" He gestured to the Hub that led down to the Medbay corridor with his good arm. "I'll be fine--but I need you to find Astrid, make sure she's okay. Can you do that, bud? I need to know that she made it out."

Ground
The General
GIA soldiers screamed in fear at the sight of it and swore in a variety of languages. Apparently, this wasn't the first time this particular Ohm had showed up in battle.
"Juggernaut! It's the Juggernaut!"
"Retreat!"
The Ohm swept through soldiers, tossing them aside like rag dolls, picking up hover-tanks and crushing them in its massive claws. Its only weakness seemed to be that it was on the slowish side due to its massive size. It charged a beam equivalent to a mid-sized Leviathan's and blasted away a swath of the fighting force on the battlefield, apparently trying to destroy as much of the opposing fighting force as possible.
If that thing got remotely close to the shields, they wouldn't stand a chance.
Rangers/Riders | The Final Countdown!
Though, what caused her concern was a large attack being thrown at her friends, namely at Odin and Double. She widened her eyes behind her helmet, slashed through the small group she dealt with and kicked her speed up to the point of there just being an orange blur dashing through the skies.
With her sword drawn to her side, Nazca put herself between her teammates and blocked the blast with the blade, deflecting it to the side. Then, she looked up at the Juggernaut and pointed a finger at it.
"I don't care who you are - you don't go after my team, and more importantly, my family!" she challenged, moving to point her sword at the Ohm before a surge of thunder and lightning went right for it as she turned her attention to her teammates. The tip of her sword was aimed for them, bathing all of them in a warm healing light.
"Nothing can keep me down for long."

Around the general
People would need to get them out of the way to allow other individuals to have a crack at the general.

Endgame
"A firewurm! Concentrate fire on the firewurm! It could bring down the Trans 9 right on top of the evac point, and it'll flood the area with radiation as it charg--"
Even as the GIA general spoke, a beam shot up and hit the edge of the Trans 9 (causing a great many engineering problems) and went right through to hit the planet above it. Fortunately, it had only hit the edge of the ship. It'd take another shot to bring the ship down, but if it did, it'd crush the whole evac point before they'd finished evacuating.
As the weapon charged again, radiation levels started rising, causing portable radiation counters to start ticking wildly.
A communication went out across all comms, across all networks among the forces opposing the Ohm.
[Radiation levels of an unknown form of radiation are rising due to the firewurm charging. They'll reach unsurvivable levels within ten minutes! All forces must regroup behind the shields. I repeat, all GIA and allied forces must regroup behind the shields!]

Tactics
Several weaknesses had been noted, however, and Admiral Kasna thought he had a solution, but first he needed to talk with the Trans9's captain.
"Captain Kennedy! I need to speak with you immediately regarding our next move!"

The Sacrifice
One person would have to take out the firewurm singlehandedly.
Were they up to the challenge?
