cityship: (Meanwhile...)

It's The Final Countdown

This was it. Endgame. The crux of the battle, the turning point, those crucial moments that would decide if the crew won or lost, that would decide if the Ohm would reign victorious or go running with their chitinous tails between their legs.

Did the crew have enough grit to win? Could they defeat a full Ohm fighting force?

With the flagging confidence of the GIA forces, it'd be up to the crew to turn the tide.

And one of the crew would pay the ultimate price to make sure the others walked away alive.

[ooc: everything is up!]

Exia's blast certainly did start to weaken the Leviathan's armor, but it would take a bit of time before it could get entirely through.

Meanwhile, though, Shrikes began to move in from all sides, attempting to stop Exia's attack while the spine-like turrets along the Leviathan's carapace opened fire at the others.

Backup is just what she's suited for right now, armed with a battery of remote turrets and defensive systems. "Roger! Watch out Setsuna!"

She puts basically the minimum effort into evasion, avoiding anything beyond a few scorch marks on her shield, as all seven turrets launch in a computer-controlled course. They move around Exia, taking shots at angles that neither put them between the Shrikes they're targeting and the Gundam, nor risking hitting any allies if they miss.

"Haro!" Lockon ordered. "I'm leaving you in charge of the defenses."

"Roger! Roger!" Haro's "ears" flapped as his eyes blinked to indicate he was taking over the controls.

He eased Dynames into a comfortable, relatively still position as he adjusted his equipment. If Setsuna and that girl were going to keep moving around like that, he'd have to rely on manual aim.
