Monsters and Mazes
As you enter the Sensorium today you find a most peculiar sight.
A large black wall with a 8-bit logo reading "Monsters and Mazes"
And two simple words.
"Start Game."
Upon choosing this a new menu appears showing a series of options:
Fighter
Paladin
Hunter
Rogue
Wizard
Cleric
Bard
What to do what to do?

Wasn't it supposed to read his mind or something? Display close-to-reality? Look slightly better?
"Paladin!" he said, quite clearly. Because he was.

The next menu was much shorter:
Human
Elf
Dwarf
Gnome
Half-Elf
Half-Orc

Not a fan so far.
"Elf, obviously, but those selections are too limited!" Mar complained to the pixellated words. "It doesn't distinguish between kaldorei, sin'dorei, high elf..."

This is... something. Sadly, most of the words don't mean much.
"The hell is this?" he asks, though pleasantly enough.

"MONSTERS AND MAZES"
And again with a "Start Game"
And under it additional
"Information"
Neon or not is still not helpful to the illiterate... if this ever made sense anyway

The Koopa King briefly considered lighting the whole thing on fire before realizing that he didn't know HOW flammable any of this was. "Fine, I'll play your stupid little game!" he growled, before he hauled back and punched the 'Fighter' option with enough force to break brick walls.

At the options that followed, the dragon in human form rose an eyebrow. Many of the options striking him as quite familiar. "An interesting selection, Wizard if I must choose," After all in his human form, that's what most thought of him as.

Also a bag full of potions and ingredients, and finally one thick spell book. Try as he might though he couldn't open the book any further then the first level spells.
And finally, a staff. His melee weapon for the game. Not even very pointy really.
The second list popped up listing different races to pick from:
Human
Elf
Dwarf
Gnome
Half-Elf
Half-Orc

"Wizard!" Midna announced. Wizards got the best hats, didn't they? She wanted to put on her wizard hat.
http://compendium.ddo.com/wiki/Category:Wizard_Spells
Loose robes with wide sleeves for freedom of movement, a bag of potions and spell ingredients dangling from her hip, a long blunt staff for defending herself...and a thick spellbook.
Unfortunately that spellbook wouldn't open past the level one spells, but it would have to do for now.
The next list popped up, no doubt full of more disappointment for Midna for not including more options:
Human
Elf
Dwarf
Gnome
Half-Elf
Half-Orc

Threadhopping ok here!
In one of Beastboy and Cyborg's Gamestation games? She looked at the wall, puzzled---well they did often play the game with the cool cars, and her troubles were car-related, so it just might work! She was never an expert at this sort of thing, but she could give it a try.
"Yes, please start." The first menu was easy enough. The second...she remembered what she could of each word. Wizard was easy enough. Fighter and Hunter were obvious. But what were the others?
"Bard, please" was her eventual decision. Risks were worth taking if she would find her creative genius.
I'm ok with it ^_^ Probably better ask whoever else is in the thread though~
First a hat that somewhat resembles a round pillow with a feather sticking out of it, then a matching purple tunic with puffy sleeves.
A skirt and matching stockings that would make Jinx jealous, along with some comfortable boots. An outfit made for lots of moving around, with not alot of protection.
There was a small sword at her side, as well as a scroll with the label "Bard spells"
The most important choice though was presented in musical instrument. A row of options presented themselves before Star. Everything from old fashioned looking guitars to what looked to be a midevil accordion.
"Bardic magic comes from their music." An all too familiar voice called from the darkness. "Just roll with it!"
Ok, I'll ask later if anyone wants to be invited in!
Oh, duh. That's what you meant ^_^;; I got confused. Yeah that's cool! The more the merrier.
Got it!

Because she's not some poncy damn wizard, no sir. She works for a living, unlike those high-and-mighty bastards who can summon the powers of the universe with a snap of their fingers.
Man, she hates wizards.

Oh and a nifty crossbow as an extra, already strapped to your hip.
The next list might leave her a bit disgruntled with how limited it was but that's how the game was played.

Elf
Dwarf
Gnome

"Monsters and....Ma..zee...s?" He tried to sound out. Ma-zee-s? Okay. That made little sense but maybe the other words held some sort of knowledge for him.
"Stee-aye-r-tee Gee-a-mee." Yeah, this 'reading' thing that Ronnae had been trying to coax him into doing wasn't working so well. And he'd pronounced the letters just as they looked, too. Oh well.
He turned around and looked at the Orc girl behind him, frowning as he did. "Ronnae. Is 'stee-aye-r-tee' the name for a 'big, black wall monster?'?"

"No Kosi, looks like this is a game of sorts. It says; 'Monsters and mazes, then right after it says, 'start game'."
She turned to face him and smiled, "Looks like this might be fun, an adventure~" She mused happily.

Late and apparently stalking Ultra
"Hm. Wizard, I suppose," she says, simply picking the one that sounded closest to 'mage'. She wondered why cleric was an option, though. Every other choice sounds like a combatant, so why was a pencil-pusher an option...
A stalker is never late, just more stalky~

"A bard? What are they going to do, sing the bad guy to death?" And there was a different between a Cleric and a Wizard? Really?

The second explained that Cleric's were like wizards, but also like priests so more godly and such.
