And with that selection he would find himself clad in some loose robes allowing for freedom of movement and comfort. Not terribly protective but at least he could run in them

Also a bag full of potions and ingredients, and finally one thick spell book. Try as he might though he couldn't open the book any further then the first level spells.

And finally, a staff. His melee weapon for the game. Not even very pointy really.
