Hisk is throwing a party in the Drunken Dragon.

She just hasn't told Kang about it.

It's a general purpose party for the election, for winners and losers (and voters!) alike. EVERYONE is invited!There's beer and real food for all, what more could you ask for?

(OOC: If your character wants to help waiting on people/cooking/what have you, go for it. :D And this is a mingle post so feel free to thread about!)

"You're welcome. Want to sit with us? I don't know if you'll actually want to do any drinking, considering, but you can sit." She was just being nice, honest! Although really, she'd been wanting to talk to young Tony for a while now.

That was a "hey, you are attractive" hey; Jonas was entirely capable of telling that much!

He did not say anything to shoo the young Tony Stark away, however. Or anything at all for that matter.

Have an impassively staring robot synthetic teenager, Tony.

"Sure?" He answered. He was clearly a little wary of Jonas. Hey eyed him nervously back.

"How are you?" She was perhaps a little too enthusiastic, and leaned in perhaps a little too close when she talked, in fact she put one hand on his shoulder in a totally platonic gesture.

Jonas quietly reminded himself that he and Cassie are no longer going out and that she is permitted to flirt with other people. He reminded himself for a second time as well. And a third.

...Perhaps he ought to locate Kate instead. But he did not know yet if he could trust this version of Tony Stark to be a gentleman until Kate arrived. He ought to stay long enough to be sure.

This Tony has unfortunately (or fortunately) not yet mastered the art of being a ladies man. He leaned back from Cassie when she talked to him, his eyes still flicking between Jonas and her. This was so awkward.

"Fine," he told her, "And, uh, you?"

He had to at least try to be polite.

"Great." She did, at least, pick up on the fact that he was uncomfortable and pulled back. She was possibly pouting a little at the failed attempt.

Was it wrong for him to be pleased that this was apparently awkward?

Probably.

Jonas was kind of okay with that, though.

"[My name is Jonas,]" he said finally, not extending a hand for Tony to shake. "[I am one of Cassie's teammates.]" His ability to pummel Tony should he do anything to hurt Cassie went unsaid.

Teammate. Not boyfriend. Okay. But the guy still seemed oddly protective, and Tony thought it was probably in his best interest not to piss him off.

"Jonas, it's..." he trailed off, "Nice to meet you?"

He should probably attempt normal conversation. That is go now, "What sort of team are you guys on?"

"The Young Avengers." Cassie supplied. "Back on our home... Do they even have the regular avengers where you're from?" She was leaning in a bit again although this wasn't really planned, maybe not even subconsciously, it was more of the wobbly leaning in.

"[If they do have the Avengers where he is from, it is probably a substantially different team,]" Jonas pointed out. After all, an adult Tony Stark had been one of the founding members in their universe. He reached out and steadied Cassie with a hand. "[Careful.]"

"We don-" he started before she leaned in. "Are you okay?"

Tony wasn't used to the whole drunk girl trying to go with him (yet).

"Fine! I'm great." She was just not going to have any more to drink. "Thanks Jonas." She just possibly leaned into Jonas's touch a little. Or, you know, a lot.

Hey, she just had a really bad tolerance to alcohol.

"[She will be fine,]" Jonas said, pressing another glass of water into Cassie's hand and propping her against the counter instead of pulling her into his lap like he wanted to.
