Suddenly, the usual relative peace of the ship is disrupted by a rather loud announcement from Stacy.

It's entirely likely that she won't stop repeating the announcement until, well, everyone reports to Obs Deck. The mouth in the huge statue on the wall opens, revealing a screen. On it, the dossier for the mission flickers into display, understandable to every person there. Smaller copies of the dossier appear in holographic form in front of everyone.

The planet's stats, right next to a rotating picture of it, blue with thousands of small islands just barely visible, are as follows:

Status: Terrestrial, H-class.
Non-sentient life: Extensive flora and fauna.
Semi-Sentient Life: Yes.
Sentient Life: Various species of intelligent life, including Homo Sapiens.
Water: 96% of the planet's surface.

Landscape: All land is in the form of tropical islands. A large portion of this land is highly developed for commercial use by resorts and other entertainment industries.

Sky: Blue with silver-white clouds.

Mission: None. Shore leave is now initiated.

Nanoha reached out to take Fate's hand. "Didn't we say something about a tropical vacation? I know it's not Hawaii, and we won't be by ourselves, but..."

"Oh, right..." Fate's cheeks colored a little as she recalled the conversation they had.

"It'll still be fun! And even though we won't be alone, maybe we'll be able to get some ideas for what should do during that trip..."

"I'm sure we will!" A grin. "We should go shopping. What do you think about getting some swimsuits and then just relaxing out on the beach?"

Of course, Fate would probably know that before too long, too much time spent idle and not working would start driving Nanoha nuts.

"That sounds like a good idea. I'd also like to get some real clothes, while we're out shopping..." Fate said. Sure, she had gotten used to the plantsuits after a while, but it would still be nice to wear clothes that didn't have a pulse.

And Fate totally knew that. But hey, she couldn't do anything about the situation, so the most she could do is keep Nanoha from going nuts.

Nanoha brightened. "Of course." She put a finger to her lips, looking thoughtful. "I bet we can find you something really cute, don't you think so?"

"Sure. Honestly, I'd wear anything if it meant I could get out of these plantsuits for a while." Poor Fate wasn't aware of what she was possibly getting herself into as she said that.

Psh, she's known Nanoha for over ten years now. She knows how to handle the other girl's workaholic tendencies by now.

"Oh, I think that can be arranged," Nanoha said with a little teasing half-smile. She's plotting something, Fate. Be wary. "But really, I could stand to get out of this too. Even a Barrier Jacket isn't the same."

... Oh yeah, she's definitely wary. And maybe now regretting what she said just a tiny bit. But she's totally not letting it show. Much.

"So we should get our shopping done first, then? That way we're free to relax for the rest of the trip."

"That's a great idea, Fate-chan! I'll need to talk to Miku-chan about picking up more supplies, but it'd be smart to get it all done as soon as we can." Any hint of malice or mischief is now gone from her face.
