'Meat' 'n Greet

The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their numbers. After the revelation that their worlds are gone, many of them are even more eager to see people they knew from home.

Several people are set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings. New crew-mates might see a green-skinned alien and snake girl among their number. There are also several authoritative-looking figures ready to introduce themselves.

There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.

Bobby wrapped his arms around the young woman and gladly pulled her into a giant hug. Out of all the people he expected Stacy to nab, Jubilee wasn't really on the list. It had been at least two years since he saw her. Give or take a few world destroying plots.

"I'd love to tell you that I've got a secret stash, but sadly Stacy didn't save them."

Jubilee sighed. "That does it. Send me back." She mock-whined. "How can there not be yellow-chemical goodness?" Jubilee pouted. "Okay, I saw Jono, and heard about a couple of the kids, but what's the sitch?" She asked. Of course, she didn't let go of the hug, either. She was Jubilee. Bobby knew the deal.

"Same deal as we always get into. We've been kidnapped by a sentient ship to stop the big bads and restore our universes." He shrugged a bit and continued to hold her. It was good to have her here. He could use the cheer.

Jubilee sighed. "So. It really is Tuesday." Wow, they were so totally jaded. "Alright then, point me at some butts to kick and I will totally introduce them to fireworks of the sharp and angry kind."

"It's forever Tuesday in my world." He shakes his head a bit and frowns. "I really wish it were that easy. But there's a lot still that I don't know. Especially about the big bads."

"Ugh, so not with the patience. I wanna kick butt and get where I can stuff myself with things made from chemicals I cannot possibly pronounce." Jubilee pouted. "I'm guessin' we're lacking in the McBurgers department? And gum?"

"Sadly we are." He kept a smile on his face as he pulled back. "There is a place we can go to get all that stuff.. But well it's not real. We just think it is."

"Okay, so we ended up in hell." Jubilee grimaced. "Again." It made her stop for a moment. "Kurt's not here right?" She asked. "Because if I followed him into hell again, he's totally never hearing the end of it."

"We're lacking in the blue elf department. And before you ask, I'm the only original here. We got a bunch of the rug rats running around, and Madrox, but no one else." He sighed a bit. He didn't mention Jean, because he didn't see her as an X-Men. At least not the one here.

Jubilee raised an eyebrow at him, grinning. "do you include Jono in that 'rugrat' category?" She teased. Then she crossed her arms and pouted at him. "And would that make me a rugrat, too?" Never mind she'd been the youngest of GenX and the youngest for a long time around the mansion.

"I'd tell him that to his half a face." He laughed a bit. He liked having Jono here, but having Jubes here was even better. Now if he could just get Stacy to pull out some of his friends he'd be all set. "Of course you're a rugrat. You'll always be one."

Jubilee was a mature young woman. She was over the age of majority and she had saved the world, and universe, several times.

... So she stuck her tongue out at him. And blew a raspberry.

"Totally am not." She denied. "You're just mad that I'm still cuter than you."

Bobby held a hand to his heart, and faked a wounded look.

"Cuter than me? Never! Blasphemy!"

She smirked. "I'm totally cuter than you, dude." Jubilee winked. "Everyone used to think so. Just how do you think I got away with all the stuff I did? Total cuteness factor."

"Oh princess. You are so naive." He patted her on the head, fully aware that she could paf him for it. "You got away with all that stuff, because most people were so terrified of Logan to actually yell at you."

She batted at his hand. "Pfft. The Logan factor only stopped them from giving me stuff I wanted, it totally never stopped Scott, or Jean, or the Prof, or Emma, or Sean or Hank..." She waved airily, "from yelling at me. Several took immense pleasure in yelling at me for various things." She pouted. "Whether I did them or not."

"The people you mentioned? They've never been afraid of Logan. Emma's got bigger balls than any of the guys. Scott's never even blinked twice about Logan's temper. The Prof and Sean, well they have ways of talking to people, well Sean did anyways." He sighs a bit and ignores the Jean issue.

"But none of that matters. You're here."

Jubilee rolled her eyes at the Emma comment. She just shook her head. Then she smiled brightly and hugged him again. "Damn right I'm here. And we'll be getting up to shenanigans and making people pull out their hair before the week's out, right?"
