'Meat' 'n Greet

The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their numbers. After the revelation that their worlds are gone, many of them are even more eager to see people they knew from home.

Several people are set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings. New crew-mates might see a green-skinned alien and snake girl among their number. There are also several authoritative-looking figures ready to introduce themselves.

There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.

[ooc: Only new characters and Command Staff can start new threads for introductions, to limit the number of threads. Everyone else, just tag in and have your guys greet the newbies.]

"Good to see you okay, too," he said. Last he'd seen of the doctor, they were all banged up on the Normandy after blowing the Collector base to hell and back.

Whoa, Shepard was here? Garrus grinned at the news, but it faded into a worried expression as Mordin continued. "What do you mean, 'memory loss'?" he asked. "What does she not remember?"

Mordin coughed, then tented his fingers, pondering the best way to say what had to be said.

"Appears to have no recollection at all of mission against the Collectors. Did not recognize me. Troubling. Not sure what to make of it."

Garrus frowned. "Tali was like that, too, when we woke up together," he replied, "The last thing she remembered was the destruction of the first Normandy, whereas I had just returned from the assault on the Collector base." He shrugged. "It seems Stacy is able to take people from the same universes from different times than others."

"Fascinating. Will have to study this phenomenon. Raises question of usefulness if not all crew are from same time, though. Hm." He tapped his chin, already rocketing through possibilities in his own mind. He forced himself to stop however and glanced up at Garrus.

"Unsure of what this means for your...relationship with Shepard."

"Hopefully it won't be too much of a problem, but with any luck we'll have time to get everyone up to speed before the next crisis hits us." There always seemed to be some sort of crisis where they were all concerned.

Garrus blinked. "What do you mean?" he asked. Sure, their bond became a little deeper after she stopped him from killing Sidonis, something she probably wouldn't remember if the different timelines thing was really what was going on here, but the core of their friendship would stay the same, right?

"Indeed. Not worried overly. Shepard extremely capable." He nodded. At least they both shared that unshakable confidence in Shepard's ability to kick posterior, take names and get the job done. Mordin looked confused for the briefest of moments, then let out a drawn 'hm.'

"Odd. Never mind. Not important, I'm sure." If Garrus didn't recall that, maybe it was for the better to let things go. No unneeded dramatics and so forth.

Huh. Garrus raised an eyebrow (or, you know, would have, if he actually had eyebrows) at that odd response, but decided to let the matter drop.

"So, how are you, doctor?" he asked. "Got questions or need anything to be clarified?"

"Doing fine for having woken up in strange alien environment. Better than others." Mordin nodded at Garrus.

"Have heard that universes have been destroyed. Our mission to fight the Ohm, save other universes. Also, leads to fascinating confirmation of multi-versal theory. Will have to investigate."
