'Meat' 'n Greet

The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their numbers. After the revelation that their worlds are gone, many of them are even more eager to see people they knew from home.

Several people are set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings. New crew-mates might see a green-skinned alien and snake girl among their number. There are also several authoritative-looking figures ready to introduce themselves.

There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.

[ooc: Only new characters and Command Staff can start new threads for introductions, to limit the number of threads. Everyone else, just tag in and have your guys greet the newbies.]

Pixie came to a glittery halt just inches away from Jubilee. Her glitter contrail could have spelled out the phrase screeching halt if it had that sort of ability.

"Hi!" She exclaimed. She was clearly happy to see Jubilee. Maybe it was because, until she'd become an X-Man, Jubilee had been her favorite. Also, there was the fact that there was another X-er on board.

"How are you? Did the podpop go okay? I know it's disorienting, I was really lost my first pop. Well, my pop. You only pop once, I think." She shrugged and beamed. And then the smile faded. "Wait. I don't even...umm. Do you know me?" Her frown deepened. "Do you still have your powers?"

Jubilee raised an eyebrow. Girl babbled more than her. That was saying something. "The podpop was fine, of course I know you, you were around the mansion before I left, and why wouldn't I have my powers." Jubilee scowled at the younger girl.

... "Okay, I totally forgot your name, but I remember you from around the mansion." Jubilee admitted.

Pixie grinned. "Pixie is me. Well, Megan Gwynn, but everyone calls me Pixie coz, you know." She whirled around. "Pixie. Umm. About the whole crazy powers thing...let's just pretend I didn't say that," Pixie said. "And don't ask Scarlet Witch about it."

Jubilee raised an eyebrow and scowled. a patented Wolverine look. "Ask her about what?" Jubilee demanded. She'd been around alternate dimensions too often not to know when something was up.

Cripes, she'd said too much.

Pixie raised her hands and got ready to dust Jubilee.

Except, you know, she might get a violation for it.

Pixie bit her lip. "Where I come from, she went crazy and most of the mutants lost their powers. You were one of them," she explained. "Where she comes from, that hasn't happened. At all, or yet, I'm not sure." Her wings flapped nervously behind her. "So I'm trying to make sure she doesn't say 'no more mutants'. Although, yay, there's a ton of mutants on here. Hellion and Dust and Icarus and some more."

Jubilee frowned. "Okay, alternate dimension. I've totally done this before." She flicked her bangs off her face. "I don't wanna know what your deal with that phrase is, and..." Jubilee managed to look embarrassed. "Sorry, but I don't recognise the names. Save Icarus. Isn't he one of the Guthries?" She remembered him. Sort of.

... She probably should've paid more attention in the mansion. She'd been busy! And it wasn't like she'd stayed around for very long.

"Not my deal," Pixie explained. "That's how Scarlet Witch did it." Hello, she could manipulate reality? Except, okay, that was a very relatively recent development. But still! "Yeah. Jay Guthrie. Red wings, pretty face, soulful voice."

She should probably have paid more attention. She knew the Witch could make some weirdorma wishes or something, but she'd never paid attention. If she tried to remember what everyone could do, her brain'd explode.

"Right, so we've got one Hayseed, only a matter of time before others show up." Jubilee smiled crookedly. "They tend to be an army." Which was both good and bad.

"Anything else I should know?" Except she should go find Bobby. Bobby would know where there were Twinkies.
