'Meat' 'n Greet

The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their numbers. After the revelation that their worlds are gone, many of them are even more eager to see people they knew from home.

Several people are set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings. New crew-mates might see a green-skinned alien and snake girl among their number. There are also several authoritative-looking figures ready to introduce themselves.

There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.

[ooc: Only new characters and Command Staff can start new threads for introductions, to limit the number of threads. Everyone else, just tag in and have your guys greet the newbies.]

He shook his head. "I would never do that, actually. It's disrespectful. It's more like working in a kitchen when you haven't eaten all day." It was an... unfortunate metaphor, but functional. "My brother likes to crack jokes about that sometimes."

Spike rolled his eyes and shoved the tag back at him. "That'd work so much better if I'd ever worked in a kitchen. Haven't met many vampires worried about respecting humans."

He took it and replaced it on his lapel. "I have to be if I'm going to convince anyone we're not just bloodthirsty monsters. I'm the first any major hospital has knowingly hired. Most people, if they come in conscious, aren't too happy about it." He just hoped he didn't make this guy mad. He was probably more used to the life in the shadows vampires used to lead, until recently.
bigbad: injuries ([Impudent] You're kidding)

"We are just bloodthirsty monsters, git. What sort of vampire are you? Working in a hospital." Spike shook his head. Sure, he wasn't bloodthirsty anymore, but he was the exception rather than the rule.
