'Meat' 'n Greet
The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their numbers. After the revelation that their worlds are gone, many of them are even more eager to see people they knew from home.
Several people are set up near the doors to provide the new people with omnicoms and comm rings. New crew-mates might see a green-skinned alien and snake girl among their number. There are also several authoritative-looking figures ready to introduce themselves.
There's a lot to tell the new people. It's going to be a lot to take in.
[ooc: Only new characters and Command Staff can start new threads for introductions, to limit the number of threads. Everyone else, just tag in and have your guys greet the newbies.]

His eyes noticed another young child, a girl with blue hair who was searching around, carrying what could either be a plushie or an actual animal. It was definitely adorable.
Sliding through the crowd, he sought out Sasami and cleared his throat. "Are you in need of help miss? New here?"

Trying to shake off her surprised, she looked down a bit before continuing.
"I'm looking for my sister, Ayeka... as well as my friends." she said. "Do you know where they are?"

"I'm Matt by the way. I could probably help you look for her if she's in the group of arrivals." He then looked down at Ryo-ohki and asked, "And who's this little one?"

Letting out a sigh, Sasami tried to put a smile on her face as she answered Matt's question. "My name's Sasami! And this is Ryo-Ohki!"
The cabbit let out a "Miya!" in greeting.

"Nice to meet you two," said Matt, scratching Ryo-ohki under the ear like he would a cat or a bunny rabbit. "Funny how we're getting a few kids lately with no accompanying adults."

Let her get the shock over being in this odd place fade before she realizes she's not the only kid here first.

He smiled and ruffled her hair.
